08/22/2021 - Sunday I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS! Seems like they will close down for sure. We called in at around 8:40pm and asked to call when are they closing and a women picked up the phone and asked her what time are you closing and she said 10pm, we then asked her we are 15 minutes away will it be okay and will we be seated with no hassle and she said with positivity yes of course! We came in at around 9pm and the girl up front said sorry our manager isn't taking anymore people inside, we were like what!!! We just called in and she was like the girl who picked up was probably confused or new, it should not be like that at all! Very disappointed. They couldn't even serve 2 people they told us to either find other restaurants or go to the "To go" window and also they placed order wrong as well, we said "no bacon" and still they placed bacon bits! Me and my family went to chilis in corona today and I got chicken strips, 5 of them and I very disappointed how such a popular restaurant could make such horrible chicken tenders, they were way to salty and had a horrible aftertaste that lasted 20 minutes, there was also mac and cheese on the side, by far worst mac and cheese I've ever tasted the service from the lady was excellent, if only the food was the same way though. The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean to, I wouldn't recommend this spot to anyone who is coming with good expectations of the food. read more

Hope springs eternal - Until dashed on the rocks of reality. We came to Chili's Bar & Grill at lunch time with a large group of 12 people. Each time we go there I swear I'll never go there again but we are always hopeful. It took forever to get waited on and forever to get served food. Several people in our party were served a long time after all the others. We had ordered hamburgers which was obviously more complicated to prepare. Getting the bills to be pay and using their kiosk machines is much like going to the dentist. They offered to pay for the food of a couple of people who had waited forever. So if you have a large group of family or friends just save yourself the effort and go to another restaurant. This one is not set up to handle groups. read more

This location has become more and more of a joke over the years. They just randomly close the restaurant on regular operating days because they are short-staffed or manager has to go somewhere, etc.. They offer curbside with a sign that says a crew member will be out there to greet you when you arrive so stay in your car, but they never ever come out. curbside service is pointless because I end up always going inside after waiting in my car for like 10~15 minutes. Even when I call to notify them that I am there, they never pick up their phone. the management at this location turned as incompetent as Macaroni Grill next door. Just today, I tried placing an order online and out of all Chilis location in California, this was the ONLY location that did not have Order Online option (said to call the restaurant to place togo order). I just called like 5 times and held on the phone trying to speak to somebody. I give up. I gave this location way too many chances despite them frequently messing up orders and food quality gone down during covid. I just don't get why restaurants, even chain ones, in Riverside county are generally so bad compared to OC and LA. read more

Came in on a Sunday afternoon with a group of 17 people. I had called the day before to make reservations, but was told they did not take reservations, instead to come in a half hour early and they would do everything they could to accommodate my large group. Very bad service from the waitress!! She asked and stopped at every single table she was serving but just passed by us. We had a 14 month old and a 4 year old with us and she didn't even stop by once to ask if the kids needed anything. We had to ask the other waiter to get us water for my daughter. My husband and I went to dinner on a Wednesday night. We were pleased to have Donae as our waiter. He was awesome and had superior customer service, made us feel right at home.....my issue was with management. I asked to speak to general manager Shannon and she never came out to speak with me. I was sitting in the dining area when I decided to call to speak to her and the associate that answered the phone said she wasn't there, even though I was at the restaurant and knew otherwise. We usually enjoy mom and pop restaurants as opposed to these large franchise type. If it's after 10:00 pm, in this neighborhood , this restaurant is all you will find open. The food is 5-6 on scale of 1-10. That to me seems so sad that a company of this size cannot put out good food. Guess that's why I've found in my 68 years that you can't beat a mom and pop. I will say if you sit at the bar, service is fast and beer is ice cold. Hey can't we get this right? Ordered two entrees and two drinks for curbside pickup. I would up having to wait 20 minutes past when the food was supposed to be ready. The side of potato soup had no green onions or bacon bits, was stone cold and had a huge congealed lump of cheese in the middle, I guess this was garnish. Both entrees were cold and one of them was missing a side, corn on the cob. Ordered the burger with bacon added, and although I was charged for the bacon, we didn't get it. Two drinks, no straws. I only get take out for dinner when I've worked late and don't feel like cooking. So on top of a long day at work and a $35 take out bill, the whole thing is swill. Went in on a Friday evening for some $5 margaritas and got an appetizer. Food and drink were on point and delicious. The place was not busy surprisingly. Been here twice in the last year. And sadly, It was the same bland experience every time. I honestly just go for the margaritas. It's about the only good thing. Our waitress this last time was great. Very attentive, friendly, and quick to get out order out. However the la e in general is just dirty. Everything from the minute you walk in to the table, the bathrooms, just dirty. Our hostess walked us to the table but didn't clean it. Or was sticky from drinks and food. She didn't give us menus, we had to ask for them after being seated. Had to ask for utensils, ask for condiments, ask for straws. I shouldn't have to ask for all that. On the flip side, I'm glad the menu at chili's has improved to new and better food options. But again, nothing amazing that stood out. We had a gift card which is the only reason we came in yesterday, but Probably won't be coming back. read more

our server was Nicole. she was pleasant and was on top of everything we needed. however she was not very helpful when we ordered our queso and with our bill. we ordered a queso dip but we didn't know the exact name. usually as a server you would list the different kinds since she had already taken our menu. wrong queso came out and of course our fault. we did the free chips and salsa promo for signing up. as we checked out on our bill on the little device she had shown the "free" receipt then swiped to the bill. when i checked our receipt we got charged for the chips and salsa. we confronted her and she said "oh there's a code you need to put in". how were we supposed to know that? and she couldn't remind us as she handed our bill? she didn't even offer to fix the situation and give us our money back. waste of time signing up when you aren't given clear instructions on what to do. read more

The food unfortunately was not so great.m this time around. Burger and sliders were overcooked but this time around, the excellent service provided by our server Nicole more than made up for it! We were greeted very warmly with Nicole complementing my wife about her hair color saying, "I absolutely love your hair color!" It was very sincere and much appreciated. The entire time she was serving us, we felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant. The icing on the cake came at the end. Prior to paying, I told my wife, I'm gonna need one more iced tea and what does Nicole do? No sooner did I say that, she brought us each a to go sized iced tea and strawberry lemonade for the road! It's as if she could read minds. The truth is, nothing is more valuable to me than a genuine joy of service, and Nicole has that.
