That was actually pretty good. The honey chipotle mozzarella was tasty. The southwest eggrolls are classic, and the chicken tenders were nice and crispy. Husband had a chicken sandwhich which tasted better than fast food and the fries were cooked well. I ordered the Cajun pasta which wasn't great but we win some and we lose some . I feel horrible I did not take pics of our entrees. I been to 4 different Chili's 9 times in the last year. This by far is the BEST service and experience I had. In the last 10 years, this is the second best service I had. We were welcomed at the main entrance by the manager, she was happy and smiling the whole time. It felt genuine and sincere. Our server, Liz was so cheerful when she came to our table. She treated us as regulars and made sure she repeated our drinks. She did recommend some, yet we didn't go that route. We were all looking forward to skillet queso and she apologized for the menu change. She described the Southwest Queso and we took her recommendation. We did like it. The drinks arrived as she was taking our appetizer orders since we all ordered the 3 for me. Our drinks were refilled super fast the whole time and she stopped by our table at least 7 times as we ate. I was having such a good time that I forgot to take pictures of my main entree. Sowwy. For a Chili's? This is actually a very good location. Chili's has never really been a part of my repertoire. Throughout my life, Chili's has been more often a punchline to a joke than the answer to "what's for dinner?" But there have been a couple times this past year where I have found myself here, and I've gotta hand it to the staff - they keep the place clean, the service friendly, and they do their best with the food with what they have. They have this burger that is better than you can get at a lot of places, and it is HUGE as well. Perfectly crispy fries, and Mac n cheese that's more than just some Kraft. Every time we come, we always get seated at the same booth next to the bar and the waitstaff working that area are always upbeat, friendly, and engaging. Somehow they've managed to make the atmosphere really disarming and neighborly, and I really enjoy that! And to accomplish that in a Chili's? For me? They're doing a lot of things right. read more

Usually I come here for their $10 lunch combos or pick 3. But I saw their honey chipotle chicken crispers and I hadn't had those in a while so that's what I ordered. Upon arriving it took a minute before the Host cane to seat us. The place was clean and once you walked inside you could smell a nice air freshener they had. Came here on a late night to try something new, based on reviews i was skeptical but it was actually good and the service was great! Came in got seated under 3 minutes it was a tuesday so it wasn't too packed. Had a variety of options on the menu, I got the chips and salsa to start they came out hot and crispy. triple dipper and chose mozzarella sticks bone in wings and the sliders. I also had the santa fe burger. Came here during lunch with some friends. The waiter got our orders wrong, it almost took an hour to get our meals. Other customers were waiting long to get their to go orders. The servers were rude when delivering our meals and did not give us napkins and utensils. The food tasted average, not missing much. Overall, I liked the menu prices for the lunch specials. Visited this location on 3/9/23 - around 6:30. I will say the bartender was attentive and service was quick - but... immediately began vomiting soon as I got home. I had 1 "big mouth bite" (slider) and 1 Southwestern Egg roll (cut into 2 pieces). Not to gross anyone out, but based on what was "coming up" - it was the black beans in the egg roll. I had the pleasure of visiting this location on Memorial Day with my husband and kids on our way back home from the airport and the customer service was absolutely amazing. When we first walked in we were greeted with a smiling face and sine they were busy we had to wait a bit. Because my daughter was hollering mess I decided to breastfeed her and by my surprise I didn't get any dirty looks. We were seated shortly after waiting and got our orders in immediately. As we are waiting for our food the twins got a bit flustered and started to cry/scream. When I food can, one got quiet but the other didn't, we later found out it was an ear infection. However, during such a trying time, our waiter came by to check on us several times asking if there was anything should could do to help calm our 18 month old kid. Unfortunately there was nothing she could do. The manager who was also very kind saw that my husband and I were struggling to enjoy our meal and offered to hold our screaming baby and walk around with her to calm her down but it didn't work. We finally got through our meal and the manager saw that our twins barely ate anything and gave us free meal passes for them on our next visit. So sweet. This is the dirtiest restaurant that I've ever ate at. They said that they had a chip shortage so we couldn't get any chips. It came with the appetizer we ordered & didn't get anything to substitute for it. We got attacked by flies, stood at the door for a long time and the place was nearly empty. Sunday Funday with the crew is ALWAYS a great time~ It's all day happy hour in the bar area. That's right, ALL DAY ON SUNDAYS. I tend to get the same thing everytime because I've wasted so many orders of chicken crispers or the giant salad. I'm totally ok with soup and an order of half price wings for the win! The mixed drinks are also priced to move, but I stick to a glass of wine (or 2)... they give me the giggles. This Chilis use to be a great spot for some great food and drinks and time to spend with friend and/or family. Now it's getting a bit worn out and the food quality is dropping so fast it would take Chef Ramsey to come in and change it. It's much needed for a make over as it now is just starting to smell like an old home. Chilis as a restaurant period keeps changing its menu that even their Famous Baby Back ribs don't taste the same anymore. They where so much better when the famous commercial first took off about 10+ years ago. Since then they have changed the sauces allot and the only thing worth trying now is the Memphis Rub. I don't even want to start talking about their wings. Yuk. They use to be some of the best wings in Houston, now they are well below just cooking wings in your garage at home using an electric skillet. The chili at Chilis isn't the same anymore. I used to work there in 1989 when they used real thick beef. Now I think they have added pink slim. Not the same at all anymore. If they want to keep that Chilis name and good reputation, they need to go back to sausage gravy with the Chicken Fried Steak, bring back the Ole Timer with Chili (using fresh chili like they did back in 89.) Bring back the Salad Bar that they tried out on the Bissonnet location. (It failed back then but today, nice healthy salads are needed.) Make wings and ribs they original way it use to be back in 89. And start back sending undercover crew to all locations to make sure the food and service is consistent. (I'd did that a few times for them back in the day.) I have to keep in mind that this is Chili's and not you know a real restaurant but the fact that they still allow smoking is baffling to me. But if I have to compare this location with the many others well these guys are not even average. There are just too many other options near and around this location that the only time I end up here is when it is closer to 10 and everything else starts to close. I even walked out once after being told our option was to sit at the smoky bar or at table near a wall toward the front of the restaurant. I was told that the other sections were closed mind you it is only a step maybe two to the table we asked to sit at. The food here isn't really ever good. The service even worse. We had to wait about 5 minutes or so for someone to sit us but they were with a customer. I initially wanted the Chipotle chicken Fresh Mex bowl, but I decided to do try something different and opted for the Chicken Enchilada Soup. It did not disappoint! I would opt to have it without cheese next time if you are not a big fan of if the string melted cheese situation. Customer service was Really good and our server Jaedyn was great! We had to wait for our fries, but she brought out the rest of the meal without the French fries saying she didn't want it to get cold. This place has improved a lot! My husband and I went here last night. He got the triple Dipper platter, I got the ribeye with fully loaded mashed potatoes and street corn, and I have to say, it was delicious! For my drink I got the blueberry and pineapple margarita, and he got a strawberry margarita (it was so good I drank half of his drink before he had a chance!), after I was done with my margarita, we got two more of the strawberry margarita (they come in a tequila bottle) they were that good!
