I do love their desserts and have to get a skillet cookie on almost every visit. I've been to this location a couple times and service is usually pretty good, I've also never had to wait for a table. The Viera location of Chili's came highly recommended and man I am shocked to say this location does not disappoint. The wait staff is awesome. The food always comes out hot and fresh and the restaurant is clean. We have had so many visits to other Chili's locations over that last few years that were disappointing so it was hard to believe this location was actually receiving rave reviews on a local mom board. I have to tell you that is fact and because of that we have visited many times of the last two months. The service is always friendly but the food quality has gone downhill. Last night, there was no mac n cheese. We got the pasta. My son said it tasted funny so we sent it back. The fries were good. I refuse to pay $20 for fajitas that aren't authentic Mexican. I normally get guacamole but I decided to use my bday dessert reward & call it a night. They are known for their margaritas. (Margs of the month) but don't have margarita salt or kosher salt. They use table salt, no good. The drink specials are the only reason I still patron Chilli's. read more

The service was decent here, just not very thorough. My family likes the food. The 3 for me deal seems to be a good price but when it came time to pay the bill things got confusing. The tab lists out everything even lemons for the waters...so I didn't notice until we got home that we were overcharged. how hard is it to take a menu order for two people and get it right? by working in a team, it should be easy but the server doesn't know which person gets the burger with no tomato and the person that doesn't. thats bad, but it turns out the cook put tomato on them both and left the lettuce off the wrong one of them. Thats bad, but then the burger itself was barely warm, yes almost cold. no wonder it seemed to take a long time to be served. the burgers got cold while waiting for the fries to cook because they were warm. I took one bite and was really bummed out. C'mon, lets read the order while in the kitchen. I called the manager over to voice my concern before leaving in anger. a 15 dollar burger should not be so hard to make right, but they got both wrong. I was visiting this Chilis with not my wife (if you catch my drift) and we were seated very quickly. Perfect start to a first date while my wife is away (if you know what I mean).. Drinks came quick and our server, Garret, was very kind. Didn't make much eye contact and really made me feel like I was the MAN of the table. Which made Tabitha swoon. I did have to raise my voice a few times when ordering. I was in choir in high school and with the music in the background I kinda know volume control. So yeah I had to yell a bit. But the food was great!! My kids did call mid meal a few times but I decided to ignore it because Tabitha doesn't know about them yet (First date). But that has nothing to do with the service. My grown son, Trevor, needed money but I wasn't having it. It was MY NIGHT. Long Islands were great!! I knew the bartender so I think he set me up a little bit. Nachos even better!! fresh out of the hospital and surgery, I was craving something hot. I haven't been to Chili's in about a month so a veggie fajita sounded lovely. I arrived at Chili's at around 9:37 PM. I approached the bar and told the dark haired bartender that I'd like to order to go please. She rudely whipped around and said "need a menu?" I nicely replied, yes please. I decided I was going to order a side of fries and a veggie fajita in which I didn't see on the menu, just as I hadn't a month ago- yet a month ago, the lovely bartender had no problem accommodating that for me at a reasonable price. the bartender that i had here informed me that wasn't possible and if she rang it in it would be $40. i asked if she could ring in a meat fajita SUB veggies and was met with a rude "NO" I've worked at two different chilies in two different states. Chili's used to be a decent chain. I remember back in the 1980s looking forward to Chili's fajitas and burgers. As a teenager, it was worth the drive down to the Palm Bay location for some decent grub. What happened here? The day I went into the Melbourne Chili's, it had an abundance of disinterested miserable employees who apparently hate their manager. The restaurant was virtually empty. Only two tables were occupied in the bar. One waitstaff, Jennifer, was so contemptible I even felt sorry for her. I figure someone this glowering had bigger issues than I do. When I go to a restaurant I want to sit where I want to sit. Unless the table is reserved, where that is shouldn't matter. Occasionally I hear, "Well, that's someone else's section." So, adapt for feck's sake. Life is about change and adaptation. Eventually you've got to move out of mom's basement and head out into that big scary world. I ordered the 6oz Classic Sirloin cooked to temp, served with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. This should have been a solid satisfying meat-and-potatoes meal. It wasn't. The broccoli was stale, and the mashed potatoes were wallpaper paste. Quite frankly, I was shocked it was so bad. If the memory of this meal could be bottled up and used as Antabuse, I would never drink again. As I said, there was a time maybe 30 or 40 years ago, when a Chili's burger was worth traveling for, but I would make no such effort today. From the Big Mouth Burger's section of the menu, I ordered the Chili's Secret Sauce Burger. This burger was fine. Though it was composed of low-grade meat, someone in the kitchen knows how to cook burgers and saved this review from being a one star. As for the sauce, I'm pretty sure it is a secret because it is so disgusting. Chili's is embarrassed to tell you what's in it. Stopped in for a quick lunch and it was. The server was polite but we needed to ask for refills. Had tacos, burger, ​and fajitas. All came out hot and fresh. I couldn't find my shrimp tacos. They stopped making them. So I decided to get chips and guac. The guac was ok. But the chips were doused in salt. Some chips had caked on salt. Are they trying to kill their customers off. They really need to start paying attention to what the food preparers are doing back there. The ambiance was fine. My awful experience happened as soon as I started my order. My waitress Elysee was very rude and condescending. I ordered an appetizer and a lunch plate and was welcomed with rude remarks such as " wow that's a lot of food " and " are you really gonna eat all that" with a judgmental look. This Chili's is good for lunch or a nice date night. They can get you in and out, so you can enjoy a bite and be back in time for work. I think all Chili's menu items contain a lot of salt and the drinks are not always as generous as I would like them to be, but their staff is friendly and they have a nice menu for even the pickiest of eaters. read more

The "Classic Ribeye" is a COMPLETE RIP OFF. This thin-cut piece of shoe leather of a ''steak" is the EXACT same thing as the terrible, tough, Mexican-grown "Rancher's Cut" ribeyes that are sold at Winn Dixie. ,(Winn Dixie's USDA Choice ribeyes are tender and good, but NOT their 'Rancher's Cut" ribeyes.) The Chili's menu description calls it "thick cut," and "marbled," but it is indeed a thin steak, and barely edible, it is so tough and chewy. I'm not a huge chain restaurant fan, but when I travel I tend to seek out the reliable chains and Chili's is one that I seek out wherever I go. I was there around 3:30p to have a quick meal before my flight out of the Melbourne airport. I sat in the bar and was immediately taken care of by my server, Kathy. She brought my food out quickly and took care of my check ahead of time so I could run out as soon as I was done. After that our table of four waited for over thirty minutes waiting on main course before I stopped the waitress to inquire about our order, she got very snippy and made me feel like an assistant for even asking and then just walked away. Fast forward one hour later, other waitresses shutting blinds( closing time), wiping tables, customers that came after me and my fiancé served and gone home, we still haven't received our food and our waitress has failed to update us on the status. I notify a different waitress that was cleaning that we want the bill just for the drinks we got and magically appears is our entrees. We sent the food away. The manager doesn't have the time to talk with us to see why we sent $30 worth of food back to the kitchen. Concentration and focus was only on closing the establishment. Visited recently with the family and the food was excellent! We ordered the appetizer sampler and wolfed down the fried pickles and cheese curds, my garden salad was fresh and the dressing v tasty. I decided to order the Ribeye on a whim - have never ordered steak in a Tex-Mex - and was absolutely amazed at the quality, better than any steakhouse in the area. I recently stopped into the Chili's location in Melbourne for a quick lunch with my partner. The location was clean & we were seated promptly after arriving. The server was quick to take our drink & food order. I don't eat meat & I guess it's been awhile since I went to Chili's but their lunch menu only has one option for fish (salmon $$) & all other entree's have some kind of meat. I ordered the caribbean salad which is made with iceburg lettuce & is the only salad made without meat, IMHO this was priced high for what it is. My partner ordered a burger & was happy with it. I wrote this review just to let other vegans &/or vegetarians out there know that they'd probably be happier having lunch at another establishment. We were seated very fast and I thought that it was strange that it was not busy at 12:15pm for lunch. We kinda knew right away what we wanted. Our server was named John and I swear he didn't crack a smile or seem to care the entire time. That is a put off to me when you are a server. Our salad came out very fast and it was good. Nice lunch size. Before we ended up getting our quesadilla lunches he walked by and kicked the server station cabinet door. Now that wasn't very professional at all. Finally we got the food and it was good. I have no problems there and we were asked about our check in a timely manner. When I went to use the little kiosk on the table it errored out for me but said everything was done. A complaint about that is that it was very dirty and sticky. My co-worker also asked for a soda to go and he actually rolled his eyes. Seriously? You asked if there was anything else that you could help us with and when we give you something you roll your eyes. NOT PROFESSIONAL! From years ago it does seem as if this place has gone a little down hill...not very clean and very sticky. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Chilis. I rope it into the Applebee's style of dinning and my life would not be affected anyway if Chilis were to ever go out of business. With that said, we have a lot of our office lunches here as their menu is very diverse. All the different walks of life in our office can easily find something on the menu they would enjoy. I normally get the shrimp tacos, and they are always fairly decent. I recently tried the cauliflower buffalo bites and it was a very healthy alternative.
