My boyfriend and I ordered food online for pick-up since we were exhausted after moving and unpacking all day. They told us our order of 2 burgers and fries would be done in 30 minutes, but when we arrived to get our food it turned out that they forgot to make one of the burgers and so we had to wait the same amount of time as would have if we had ordered in. That said, the bar tender was super apologetic and offered us free soda while we waited. The food was pretty good too. The alvacado burger with cinnamon apples was exactly what I needed. The lava cake left a bit to be desired, I felt like I was eating cake dipped in veggie oil. Overall not bad, though I'm not going to bother with their online order option again. read more

The food was the typical run-of-the-mill Chili's fare. I'm assuming most people have been to a Chili's to know that the food is avg-good at best. This review is specifically about this Chili's service. My girlfriend decided to give Chili's another try after deciding she didn't like any Chili's about a year ago. We had a very attentive waitress. We first asked for waters, we got those...then we decided we wanted a mango iced tea, we got that. Not knowing how spicy the chipotle bbq chicken fingers were, our waitress asked us if we would like to try a bit of the sauce that she could bring out. When our tea was about gone, a different waitress asked if we would like it to be refilled then half a minute later our waitress came out and asked the same thing. Finally, it appeared that they ran out of change to give me so she rounded the bill down and gave me 20 instead of 19.45 that I was supposed to get. Worst steak I've ever had; including the steaks that I destroyed on a BBQ. I ordered my meal using DoorDash and when it arrived it was still hot. But, maybe the cooks there simply think they can spit on and shit on our steaks when you order them through DoorDash, but that was the worst steak I have ever had. I have dined at this particular Chili's location on a few occasions in the past number of years; I assure you I will never return nor order from them again. I have been eating at Chili's for at least twenty years and I can't say I've ever had a bad meal. Over the years, it has proven consistent, fairly priced, and convenient. The food is always good and I never leave feeling like I paid too much. I guess that's why it is A-OK for me. Initially, my favorite dish on the menu were the chicken fajitas. They come well-seasoned and literraly sizzling in a skillet. There are more than enough tortillas, cheese, and other condiments to top them with and the flavors all mixed together are a nice treat for the taste buds. Over time, I have tried many dishes on the menu. The last time I was there, I had the Chipotle Flatbread and Margarita Chicken. Both were delicious and highly recommended by yours truly. I also suggest trying one of my tried and true favorites; the Triple Play. Who can ever be mad at three good appetizers on a platter? Make sure you put some of the Southewestern Egg Rolls on that platter. They will change your life. The bar is "ok." I'm a bit of a dive bar girl, so restaurant bar drinks don't exactly have the kick I like in a drink, BUT the margaritas at Chili's are very good. Have one (or more) or try a beer. read more

The dish was delicious, but it wasn't too filling to me; I would suggest ordering some appetizers with it. It's a giant cookie with vanilla ice cream on top and some chocolate sauce drizzled all over. No complaints about it at all! It came out super fresh, warm...it melted in my mouth! Well, I'm not too picky about customer service as long as the server wasn't rude or did something that made me wanna put them on blast on here :) I forget her name, but our server was quite pleasant. She made sure we had enough time to choose our orders and even suggested to me to order the dessert after our meal so that it would be fresh (because if I had ordered it at the same time as the main course, the cookie would've came out at the same time apparently). I don't know why, but it made me feel scared that our food came out so freakin' quick. Yeah, SCARED. At other Chili's locations, I've had to wait at least 15-20 mins for my food to come out, but here?? It took like 5 minutes! Literally. I'm not kidding. I mean, YAY?... Lol I don't know, I just felt like, scared because I kept thinking what if the food was pre-made or something :( or what if someone had ordered the same thing but didn't want it? Omg I don't know, but our food was delicious so that's all that matters. I'm still a little scared thinking about this, hahaha. Had a gift card given to me as a gift. The service was excellent. The decor and ambiance was great. The food was okay. We had the 2 for $20. The Fried Cheese Appetizer was the best! My bacon cheese burger tasted like a frozen beef patty. Good thing the fries and the pickles were good. Waited 45 minutes to get a check resolved. It still wasn't by the time I asked again. We were told they updated the new system so we kept getting an error on the 3 for $10 meals when we went to pay. The server said he would look into it and didn't come back. I had to flag down two different people to ask about it and they eventually pulled him aside to resolve it. He kept avoiding us. They gave us the bills and then had no place to ring us up. So.. back to one of the servers to ring it up in the back. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with a cheery hello. Our server, Ashley, was SO HELPFUL and nice we couldn't help but think what a refreshing change from the Howe Ave location. This location is sparkling clean and Ashley didn't hesitate to suggest lunch choices. My 2 children and myself came to chili's for dinner after days of begging to come. The hostess wasn't so pleasant but quickly sat us in our seats in other side of restaurant. After a few minutes we were greeted by our server Lyndsey. Very sweet. Our appetizers came out with our drinks. We had the chips and salsa and the fried pickles. When food came out I quickly realized I ordered the wrong dish. My daughter and myself both ordered steaks. My daughter had a 6oz serloin and I had the rib eye. My recommendation for Chili's is to get better knives for your steaks. The rib eye especially was so messed up because of the horrible knife. I am a server myself and work in a steakhouse. I know the rib eye has a extra thick piece of skin in which make the knives you use almost useless to cut. I made the rib eye so tough by cutting it in which I only ate half. I even mentioned it to my server who agreed. Although the food had great flavor and service was great I'm giving 4 stars for the knives. read more

I visited the truxel rd. Location this evening in natomas Sacramento, CA the managers, Yes I said the managers were rude, argumentative, a little lazy to say the least. In the time they wished to have a discrepancy they could of found a solution concerning my ordering situation instead they wanted to pass the buck onto saying that it's the companies fault for the problem and shrugged their shoulders as if they didn't care and never came up with a solution mind you this has happened to me two weeks in a row. I have no problem at all with Chili's when we go in and sit down to eat. However when I order online for pickup there's always a problem. The food is either not warm, missing condiments or there's things that I've requested by phone (after placing my online order) and they still forget to put them in the bag! We love the chicken tortilla soup, but they always put the little krunchy tortillas inside the soup so by the time we get them home they are soggy. I frequently this Chili's for a couple reasons. One is that it is the closest to my house, but the second and more important of the two is that this Chili's gives me excellent service. I am probably considered a regular now, I come here about once a week. But since the begin of my frequenting, I have received great service. I am a picky eater, and the servers who deal with me have always done their best to accommodate my requests. I eat a lot of soup and salad, as I am in love with the chicken enchilada soup and I love the ranch dressing. The chips and salsa are one of my favorite things about Chili's, and when I have had other items like their side of black beans, and even cheese enchiladas, I have enjoyed them. My servers always check on me, and even try to have a conversation. I know that part of this might be because I usually sit in the lounge, but when something isn't broke, you don't need to fix it. Overall, I am never really disappointed with this Chilis. Thanks for the great service! read more

Which sucked since we ordered the bottomless chips and salsa but never was offered a refill. Food was VERY bland. My chicken strips were dry and overcooked. The ranch just tasted like flavored milk. I guess after my previous 1 star review was deleted I need to re-review this place. First off, the fact that my previous review was deleted should show you a lot how they run their business. I was never contacted via Yelp to resolve my complaint or to make the situation right so that's why they get another 1 star review. The service here is garbage just like the reheated precooked food they serve not to mention weak drinks and lacking customer service. Rude servers feel entitled to a tip when they left you unattended your whole meal, every item we ordered was brought out by a different person and we didnt even see our server throughout the meal until it was time to pay. I had fries I didnt eat because the ranch I requested twice was never delivered. I've learned my lesson eating at these chain restaurants with gimic menus. So I am a frequent visitor of this particular Chili's location. Always love the food and the staff is great. Today however. Not their best moments. New bar menu started for football season. I ordered 8 wings and curly fries for a Whooping $14! Way expensive but that's not the main issue. I love wings... I know fresh wings.. these were not even close!! First issue. The plate literally had five.. yes five little fries on the plate?! I looked at the waitress and said. Really?? She said yes I agree that's really not alot..ya think?? She was apologetic and sent out more for me. Now the wings.. ugh..they were absolutely terrible!! They smelled funny.. had black sections on them and I dared to try one.. yucky!! We visited Chilis in Natomas area of Sacramento CA. Alex, the manager on the evening of 2/27/18, was outstanding. I requested his assistance on a personal matter and he responded exceptionally. The restaurant was busy but he gave us prompt attention. He later came and spoke with us to make sure our experience went well - which it did. I would also like to commend Kyle, the bartender, as he was patient and efficient. We took some time to order but he kept checking with us while attending to a full bar. Beautiful new restaurant. Literally no one working. Walked in the to-go doors and there was a sign saying to place a to go order go tot be bar. Go to the bar no one working. I waited 5-7 min, started walking around the place looking for an employee. Couldn't find one. Walked into the kitchen and saw a group of 4-6 employees talking. Asked for help. And finally a very rushed manager cane out to the to-go area. She told to help two people with there order that they placed on line, both orders were wrong food missing no drinks. I would be sad if that was my food, they were sitting on the counter when I arrived 15-20 min ago. But no one was there to complete the orders. This place needs a complete over haul of management and staff. No one cares. No customer service. Sad. Old location seems to have been ran better. read more
