I love that Chilis has totally revived their reputation lately. This visit I tried the famous triple dipper. The Nashville mozzarella sticks were great in the ranch, and I loved their cheese pull. Honey chipotle crispers were also good, the sauce is addicting. Egg rolls were good too. They have other good lunch deals, which the triple dipper isn't a part of, but this is still worth ordering. The items are sky high in sodium for sure (and calories!) but I don't regret it. read more

After a day at the beach we stopped by Chili's. Literally my third time at a Chili's and it was really good. I ordered a smash burger and fries. Fries were too salty so they gave me a new batch and they were amazing with the burger sauce to dip them in. Highly recommend. I have always really enjoy Chili's and it brings with it some nostalgia to high school days. They always have great deals, is a great place to meet up with people and have some good drinks and watch sports. This Midway location is pretty convenient and even though it was quite crowded, we were able to sit in the bar area. Our server was a super nice, chill guy who was very good at his job. It honestly looked closer to a full rack. The ribs were flavorful and tender. The mashed potatoes were seasoned perfectly with just the right toppings, and the loaded mac and cheese was rich and delicious. Others in our group had the sirloin steak, which was cooked perfectly and rated a solid 10 out of 10. The kids' meals were also well made and enjoyed, which made the experience comfortable for both kids and adults. We finished with desserts, the cookie and the brownie, and both were delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, this location delivered great food, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The kids felt comfortable, the adults felt well taken care of, and the clean environment and family-friendly ambience really stood out. With friendly service, a well maintained interior, and phenomenal deals I can't even be embarrassed that I was given the Yelp title of Duchess of Chilis. Big bites were as you would expect a burger to taste, wasn't too fond of the honey-chipotle crispers- super sweet! Southwestern egg rolls have that tex-mex taste and were interesting. I had the QP cheeseburger 3 for me. Horrible. Meat didn't even taste like meat and felt like a greasy gym sock in my mouth. Fries were cold and soggy. "Salad" was three limp lettuce leaves, a carrot strip and three croutons. It's a grim day when you spend $10.99 and feel completely cheated. As a longtime customer, I have tried to give Chilis the benefit of the doubt, but the erosion of food quality over the past few years has been brutal. We ordered the monthly margarita ($6/drink is incredible, + $2 shot is amazing), triple dipper appetizer (mozzarella sticks, sliders, chicken crispers), and chicken/shrimp fajita plate for 2 people. I don't know where you can get a cocktail for less than $10 anymore, so that in itself is amazing. For the triple dipper, you can choose 3 items, and I just want to say the mozzarella sticks were probably the best I ever had in my life (to be fair, I haven't had that many before though). For the fajita plate, we were going to order steak, but the waitress warned us that the meat would be tough and well done, but some people like it like that (not sure who, but glad she warned us), so we picked the chicken and shrimp. The fajitas were meh. This meal came out more expensive than we expected, around $40/person. If you come to chili's, the $6 margarita and mozzarella sticks are where its at. read more
