So very disappointed! Mark, you blew it and so did the bartender. You guys were so busy talking about your weekend plans that when we ordered two beers and one water. One beer and two waters were brought. But then we had to ask for the beer and catch attention. Except there was only one other table sat in the bar. I can understand if busy but you weren't. We started the meal off with the triple dipper with southwestern egg rolls, buffalo mozzarella sticks, and chicken crispers. The chicken crispers are so good. Crispy, plenty of sauce, perfect. The egg rolls are good but don't taste as good as I remembered them back in the early 2000s. The buffalo mozzarella sticks though, not a fan of the sauce. Very sandy texture for some reason, I'd stick with the regular one and ask for a side of buffalo sauce instead. I also got the 3 for me for $12.99, which came with a tasty cup of the loaded baked potato soup, soda, and an OG burger. Burger came out medium, which was perfect. It's not a memorable burger but does what it needs to do to satisfy the craving. For a dinner for two, we came out under $40 after tax and tip. Somehow I ended up at another Chili's two nights in a row. Lucky me, right? This time I was with the family while we were running errands in the plaza next door. We made an attempt to go to another restaurant but the wait was a little too long and ended up here. Right when we walked in, it was clear this location was not like the other. The layout felt awkward, and the host stand looked messy and unorganized. They didn't really seem to know how to line people up or call names nor did they seem to care. We got signed in and waited about 30 minutes. I went to the restroom while we waited, and it was honestly pretty bad. Pee and trash on the floor, used toilet paper on the ground, and an overall dirty feel. The placement of the bathroom must be an issue too, because anytime someone went #2, you could smell it in the restaurant. I also saw an employee leave the restroom without washing their hands, which definitely didn't help my impression. The food was probably the worst part of the visit. I ordered an Old Timer with cheese and an extra patty, and it came out very overcooked and dry. The fries were somehow soggy. Our chips and queso weren't very good either the queso was so watered down it was basically soup rather than a dip. My wife ordered a salad and stopped eating it after a few bites. The kids had sliders, which they liked well enough, but mostly because they covered them in ranch. The service didn't really improve things. Out and about with hubby for a luncheon date. Chilis has always been a great go to but not so much today. We were seated right away and our server was attentive. We had enough leftovers for dinner. The downfall was the appearance. The floor hadn't been swept under our table as there were smashed fries and salad below. My second privileged experience at Chili's. The food here is mostly mediocre with just a few standouts. Service was nondescript but acceptable. Had to try the triple dipper as it's infected my Instagram feed as of late. The fried mozz is the best thing to get for that. The southwest egg rolls are also good. Burger is substantial, but lacking seasoning on the beef. Also, the pickles were all stacked in the center of my burger. Fries were on the greasy side, and the oil tasted overdue for a change. However, this afternoon was totally different in a very amazing way. We sat in the bar area and we were helped by Mark. My mother is fairly picky about service, (not quite as much as me, though, as spent a good 10 years in the service industry throughout high school and college). Both of us agreed that he was literally the best service we have ever had at there. Ever. He was phenomenal and made sure everything was taken care of so very well. I've been to this location a couple of times it's fine, not amazing, not horrible. We put our name down and were told 35 mins and got seated after 5 min so that was nice. I have to love this place if only because it is the favorite restaurant of my daughter. But it is nice that they have options which I enjoy as well, such as shrimp fajitas which are very good here (their Cajun pasta is also pretty decent). My daughter usually gets the same thing, a macaroni and cheese which just has to be in that style, or else she wouldn't eat it, along with Mandarin oranges. Most importantly though, for it to be the perfect dinner for my daughter, it has to end with the molten chocolate cake which only Chili's knows how to make the way she likes. The place is very spacious and clean and the service is always excellent, they always make sure that we are satisfied. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait , but now they finally have started seating in the bar again since the pandemic, and there's usually almost no wait to sit in the bar.
