Smokehouse combo. Ribs and chicken crispers.

I've been coming to Chili's for years. Saturday evening it was packed here, but getting seated was not not a noticeable wait. Server greeted us within 2 min of sitting down at our table. The food was delicious as usually, however I noted that the chicken crispers were smaller than the last time I was here. It may not normally be the case though. I'll have to come back again in a few weeks to compare. The service was not too slow for a busy Saturday night. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

BBQ Brisket with cheddar cheese and barbecue sauce, with a side of white cheddar macaroni... Delicious! I'm very happy with mine but I'm

The food was MUCH better than I expected, and would have gotten 5 stars, along with the varied and extensive menu, but due to our drink order fiasco (3 stars, see below), I averaged out the number of stars. My Barbecue Brisket Sandwich and the White Cheddar Macaroni side I substituted for fries (with an expected up-charge) were both delicious, and the brisket was plentiful. My friend loved the Bacon Ranch Quesadilla's. Our original young male server was very good (4 stars), but either he, the bartender, or the over-21 female server who delivered the drinks confused the Margarita I ordered (their most basic, most lime-tart Margarita), and made it premium, with an UNexpected up-charge. Rather than just let me drink the premium one, she insisted they had to "throw it out" and start over, even though we told her we were in a time crunch. Seemed illogical and wasteful to me, and meant I had to wait for my drink, instead of "toasting" and drinking with my friend. At first sip, mine tasted like perfume, but got better. My friend's Watermelon Margarita was sickeningly sweet. So the beverage service and the Margaritas only got 3 stars.

Hannah finished her burger in 3.11 minutes which was a record for her.

Chips and salsa slapped but the service was lackluster. Overall the experience was pretty good since it was quick service with a good ambience, just wish the experience was as killer as last time. We might be back (soon?). We miss our last server :(. -Hannah and Claire and Stella (our escort)

My boyfriend and I have consistently been a fan of Chili's + come every so often when we get a good craving for it! Honestly, I don't think I have ever been disappointed! Each time our experience has been fabulous, from the food to quick seating! This is no upscale dining by any means, but it is still comfortable and family-oriented. The staff is quick to get you situated - bar service seems to be slow sometimes but other than that everything comes in a timely manner! The food is rather expansive, to cajun pastas, texmex style cuisines, steaks, + burgers!! My favorite menu items you have to try: Southwest Eggrolls, Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers, Literally Any Burger, Fried Mozzarella, Roasted Street Corn! My boyfriend loves the fajitas too!

Bartender Kira, works on Tuesday nite, outgoing friendly and treats customers like family, the manager was a bartender at Merriam, and now is over here, super cool, cares for the employees and wants the customers feel like family, this is why I travel from Olathe to eat here, if u download the app you get free apps or dessert, times are tough and u want to feel welcome this location does that, this location is close to Home Depot, Tuesday nite is burger nite and happy hour is Monday- Friday, never had bad food or service either, but I sit at the bar too is why I get good service too

They premix their cocktails and he was happy to let me try a sip of the ones that interested me. Speaking of.... They're quite ingenious! While cucumber flavor in a drink is hardly revolutionary, red bell pepper IS- and you can taste it! None of them were to my particular liking, but to be honest, I am a bit of a picky eater. He had great patience with me on modifications to my burger- and, again, remembered that I didn't want the sauce. This is honestly a cool little place with a super chill vibe. I AM sad that for a place with a good patio, dogs aren't allowed.... But such is life, I suppose.

It's a lovely restaurant. It seems a bit out of the way with mostly corporate buildings around. The restaurant has a nice modern aesthetic. I like the purple hyacinths hanging from the ceiling in one area. It was very steady for an off time in the afternoon. First, our server Olivia was amazing! Very attentive and we were extra needy this day so I really appreciate her patience. We even dropped food on the floor. Oops! She was so nice about it and cleaned it up immediately. We had customizations and extra requests. No problem for her! She went above and beyond. I hope she sees this because she was such a joy! The food was also very good. We started with the biscuits and one peach compote and one blueberry. Both were yummy. They were traditional drop biscuits and I love a good biscuit! We also had an order of fried green tomatoes on goat cheese grits. You get 4 very large slices. I could only eat one. The grits were yummy but there were not enough of them in relation to the friend green tomatoes. They were also encased by a sauce. I'm guessing a remoulade. I don't really care for remoulade sauce so I'd have removed it had I known it came with the dish. It really overpowered the goat cheese taste in the grits. The tomatoes were very al dente and I would have preferred them cooked a bit more. The dish was still good but my least favorite and I would normally love anything with those ingredients and fried green tomatoes are a favorite so the remoulade (or whatever it was) sauce was a real problem for me. I would definitely get them again without the sauce because they are great otherwise. But that sauce just overpowers every other flavor! I got the chicken tender dinner and others in my party got the bone in fried chicken. Everyone liked their chicken. The tenders were a big size. 4 of them but I hit 2 meals out of them. Everyone liked the Parmesan rosemary potatoes. I really liked the bacon green beans. The only side we weren't impressed with was the Mac and cheese unfortunately. The cheese was not good. We got coffees and a chai. All of them were very good. A bit pricey for the amount you get though. Even with the smaller complaints, I'd still give th a 5 because of the outstanding service and the dishes were overall very good and large portions. We will definitely return and I hope to try out a breakfast item next visit!

I was expecting it to be super loud but it was not bad at all. Next time I definitely would like to sit on their patio that looked fantastic. Food: my friend and I shared a couple items. We started off with seasonal drink which was a strawberry mimosa and oh my these were delicious. Fruit forward and refreshing. Next we had fried green tomatoes which you rarely find in KC so I was excited. These were done very differently but so good. Breading was crispy and not overly flavored so you could still taste the tomato. Next we had their shrimp and grits. This is why they did not get a 5 star. The shrimp tasted like frozen shrimp from the grocery store. The grits were just ok honestly it was missing something. We make this dish at home and I probably have too high expectations. Also it was served in cast iron and the cast iron skillet was in bad shape as well. Service: our server was very good. Prompt and friendly.

Unfortunately, the service side fell flat. We arrived mid-afternoon around 1:30-2:00, and the restaurant wasn't busy. We asked if we could sit upstairs, and the host seemed confused before telling us it was closed, then seated us directly next to a loud group despite plenty of quieter open tables nearby. A few minutes later, we looked upstairs ourselves and saw multiple occupied tables being actively served...what the heck? The most frustrating part of this experience wasn't the seating, it was the complete indifference from the staff. Drinks didn't arrive until after we had already finished eating, and despite the restaurant being relatively slow, nobody seemed remotely concerned. No urgency or communication. Just a normal day for them, I guess. A kitchen can only carry a restaurant so far when the front-of-house operates with this little care for hospitality. The atmosphere gives the impression of a place that wants to feel polished and upscale, but the service felt lazy and disconnected from the guest experience. Mistakes happen in restaurants. What matters is whether the staff notices and cares enough to fix them. We left wondering how a restaurant with food this solid has become comfortable delivering service this poor.

The Liquid Courage I started off my round with two drinks. the Bloody Mary. It was fine--tasty enough, but it certainly didn't change my life or inspire any poetry. However, things got interesting with their Tequila/Cold Brew/Liquor 43 concoction. Topped with an egg foam cap, it was actually pretty solid. A bit of a gamble, but sometimes you have to roll the dice when the menu is trying that hard. The Culinary "Hit and Miss" Then came the food, or as I like to call it: The Great Consistency Crisis. The Steak: I asked for medium-rare; I received medium-well with a "char" that felt more like a personal vendetta against the cow. The Potatoes: Apparently, potato portions are determined by a lottery system. I received about half the amount of the person next to me. Maybe I didn't look hungry enough? The Eggs: My over-easy eggs had crispy, hard edges and arrived at a temperature I'd describe as "lukewarm at best." We also had to hunt down salt and pepper like we were on a scavenger hunt. Honestly, I probably should have just hit the buffet and cut out the middleman. The Service Our server was perfectly nice, but he appeared to be roughly twelve years old. Since he wasn't legally old enough to understand the complexity of a craft cocktail, he couldn't give us any info on the drink menu. We just had to "go with our gut"--which is a dangerous game when tequila and cold brew are involved. The Verdict I'm not saying I won't be back, but consider this a fair warning: if Round 2 involves another charred steak and a side of "room temperature" eggs, I'll be sending it back for a rerun faster than a shanked drive into the woods. 3/5 Stars -- Great for people-watching, questionable for potato-equity.
