First let me say I've had serious issues with this location in the past & probably hadn't actually sat down for a meal in over a year. When this Chili's first opened years ago a friend of mine worked there. Her boyfriend & I would often sit down for dinner & drinks while waiting for her to finish her shift. As part of the cleanup, she & her fellow servers were required to move everything off the tables, wipe everything down, to include condiments & menus. My friend finally left this location and I was deployed for 17 months. When I returned from deployment I found the old, shall we say "clean," manager had been replaced with some new woman who obviously was looking to score a fat bonus by reducing staff & their cleanup duties. This restaurant was consistently understaffed, filthy & the food undercooked & cold. I recall having to complain on several occasions & the manager comping meal items. The menus were always sticky; food was stuck to the glasses, utensils & dishware. If the place looked this bad in the front of the house, how did it look in the kitchen? The final straw was having one of the door greeters drop a menu on the floor & hand it to us like nothing happened. When we complained she giggled & said it was "nothing to worry about." I got so fed up I called Chili's corporate & got a regional manager to contact me several times. Despite the regional manager's assurances this place stayed nasty & therefore I stopped going. It should be noted a server we dearly loved, turned Expo, quit over the crappy management & lack of cleanliness. Today I had to run errands nearby & recalled this location was recently remodeled, which was needed. There wasn't a power sprayer on Earth strong enough to blast away the years of neglect. I was hopeful the cleanliness & food quality had improved and that the staff shortages were resolved. Unfortunately this place still sucks. We arrived close to opening time & by the looks of the floors a proper cleaning wasn't done the night before. The menus were new, but still sticky. I knew we were probably in for more issues when the overworked server apologized to the two tables on either side of us for a delay in their food. The first table got an apology from the manager & a comp. (Sound familiar?) The second table's food still arrived with cheese on it despite two requests from the customer to 86 it & to re-make the order. I remained hopeful about our order, but sure enough, the server appeared 45 minutes into our stay & said he didn't know why our sandwiches hadn't arrived. He then asked us what we'd ordered & wrote our requests down on paper! On the positive side, our chips & salsa, drinks & soups arrived quickly, all at the appropriate temperatures. Unfortunately the fries were undercooked. The bacon on the Southwestern BLT was cold & chewy. I also didn't like the shredded lettuce on a BLT. Who in the Hades does that to a BLT? Obviously Chili's does, & that, Peeps, is sacrilege to the poor sandwich. Since I was off work & in the mood to booze, I tried the pomegranate margarita which was quite tasty, but at $8.97, the most expensive item on the bill. Definitely not worth the price for the size of glass this beverage arrived in. All in all, I don't see much improvement at this Chili's. For a chain restaurant in a military town with major businesses nearby, this place should've been packed for a lunch service. Instead the pace of customers was anemic at best, yet the staff still couldn't keep up. A new paint job, artwork & shiny utensils doesn't negate the years of bad management this place has seen. This Chili's needs a management enema stat! They need to give a damn about cleanliness & put enough staff in place to keep their customers satisfied. While you're at it, hire a cook that can actually cook a french fry that doesn't taste like a raw potato. If you want a good meal, with good service, go to the Texas Roadhouse. If you want a good drink at a reasonable price, go to any of Applebee's copious happy hours. Avoid this place like the plague considering you could end up with the plague. Update: 12/30/12 visit: The young lady working the Take Out counter was leaning against make counter eating while I was waiting to order. After I made my order, I went to the bar to have a drink. I waited five minutes for the bartender to speak to me because the Manager was talking her ear off about the Christmas gifts she got. The bartender kept giving me a sheepish grin, but quickly made my drink once the manager left. Update: 3/2/13 visit: As luck would have it I got the last available gift certificate from a team award my boss got us...to Chili's of course. My Reserve unit was having a get together & about 14 of us showed. Our server David was amazing & it was a clean service. Here's hoping! read more

Ugh. When you walk in, it's got a new interior design look about it. However, that's about the only good thing here. Well...our service was friendly and genial. The only thing that dragged the rating down was the food and cleanliness of the kitchen. Our chips that came out with the salsa were so soggy with grease, it was off-putting...and when you walked by the kitchen to get to the bathroom, the kitchen was a MESS! We had a nice and warm welcoming even though the place was full due to the Superbowl. We got the table we wanted. My steak was perfect and the kids meal enough and good. We had the cookie with ice cream as a dessert. The Service was awesome! We had Lisa that also attended the bar. Super nice, fast and made sure all guests were happy. What a super great experience. 5 STARS - We had EXCELLENT service! 3 STARS for the food. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries. Everything was lukewarm. I should have sent it back. My own fault. The fries were okay, kind of dry for fries. The burger didn't have much flavor. We sat in the bar which for me was chilly. Lots of TV screens so no matter where you sit, you'll be able to watch one of the five different sports games being telecast. read more

Worst experience in a long time! We are (were) regulars, but not after this! The server (Lisa), who was also tending bar, was friendly; however, she wasn't terribly attentive. My food was also messed up. I could have dealt with that, but when the manager (Jody) told the server about the complaint my wife made, and I heard her say something along the lines of "they complain a lot," things quickly spiraled out of control! I felt very uncomfortable. I couldn't escape! The server/ bartender followed us out the door, asking what she did wrong! I was mortified! I have never been chased down by anyone in customer service. Having worked in food service, retail, and telecommunications, I have seen quite a few strange things. Never this! I am still anxious from the whole incident. The place was clean and the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. We had a large group and they put two tables together for us. They have little computer machines at each table that you can order from and pay your bill. It gives you a receipt. We opted for a real live person to take our order. Drinks were brought quickly. The menu was altered to fit our dietary needs. I am vegan and they had vegan black bean burgers along with various salads. We sampled beef tacos, shrimp tacos, chili, bacon burger, buffalo wings, fajitas and a Caribbean salad at our table. The chili is pretty spicy & so are the shrimp tacos. The bacon burger was huge & a lot of fries. The Caribbean salad had pineapple, mandarin oranges, cranberries, red bell, green onion, various greens and a lime dressing. It was wonderful. The fajita came to the table still sizzling and smoking. All the food was excellent. The average price was about $11 a meal. We had 5 adults, 2 children & a baby. The total bill without tip was $ 79. We will be going back to eat here again. read more

I normally don't like chain restaurants but if you're in Sierra Vista then Chilis definitely becomes a legitimate option. The good news is that they don't seem to remember me from 5 years ago when I spent most of the night outside analyzing each blade of grass after several drinks. Tonight's Chilis experience was positive. It was extremely popular but there were still a handful of parking spaces with no line at the door around 6pm. The jalapeno smokehouse burger had huge thick pieces of bacon and the fries were surprisingly good. Nobody claimed to have room for desert. My friend wasn't happy with his 7&7 as he said it tasted watered down. I had cocacola so I couldn't confirm. The previous review by "A.C." says it's a family place but I didn't see any kids. His ultimate point though was correct that the place gets loud. We had a group of 10 people and you really couldn't hear the ones that sat on the opposite side of the table. read more

Pre pandemic this place was great. I went there last Thursday and ordered a chicken fajita dinner with guacamole for curbside pick up, got my order and drive my 22 miles home to enjoy my dinner. While the chicken was tasty, the meal itself was a disappointment. No guacamole no tomatoes, cheese or sour cream! I called them back and explained the situation and how far I'd driven and was told to come back and get my "boat". I told the woman again that I'd driven the 22 miles home already and was curtly told "there's nothing else she could do" and she hung up. Not even I'm sorry this happened or anything remotely close. I've had better service from fast food restaurants and am sorely disappointed with them. They "used" to be my favorite place. Can't say that or that I'd recommend them. read more

I love chili's for their chips and salsa but each location will differ vastly when it comes to service and food. It is hit or miss here. The last three times I've gone here over the last month, I ordered a burger. I had and itch and I like mine medium to med rare. They over cook them every time. I had them take it back on one occasion and they overcooked it again. Service isn't much better, there is one or two good waitresses and we always make sure to tip good but their kitchen needs some help. read more

Chili's in Sierra Vista boast they serve gluten free food and they do have quite a bunch of yummy items that are wheat/gluten free. One small issue? They cross contaminate! How can you advertise gluten free and not have a designated fryer?? Hum? So if you are allergic to wheat or gluten, beware of this joint. read more

I've never been so insulted . I called in an order for curbside and was missing a salad , and a kids drink , spoke to Danny and he accused me of making it up , he said that he remembers the order and marked it off in the receipt and it was in the bag . Number one you don't accuse a customer of stealing , then I told him my white spinach wasn't in the bag but a bag of chips and I would rather give him the bag and give me fresh chips, and he said he couldn't do that so I asked for a manager and his was manager was even worst , Rolin said that doesn't work that way and said he didn't want to talk to me anymore and hung up on me . When I went to pick up the missing salad Danny was very rude and said I had to pay for the drink because he put it in the bag earlier , didn't give me new chips and didn't even give me utensils for the salad . Very disappointed with the food and service. Wife ordered crispy chicken with corn on cob and French fries. We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer. The pickles and chicken were not cooked properly. They were disgusting to eat. The dough was slimy and difficult to eat. Complained to our server which she relayed to her manager. They offered another choice, but wife was so nauseated that we refused another plate. We were charged for the disgusting meal. Server took forever to bring us the bill. Tonight on August 28, 2019 at 9pm my family and I walked into Chili's in Sierra Vista, AZ. We had been many times before but never had such a great experience as we did today. For that we are thankful. Waitress Denae was so kind and welcoming went a extra mile to make my kids happy. Our meals were cooked to perfection by Devan, Isaac, and Robert. At the end a manager named Paul came out to make sure we had a good experience and spoke highly of his employees. AGAIN, IT WAS LATE 9PM ON A RAINY NIGHT, it's hard to get a good experience anywhere at that time of night especially in our town. Customer service like this is very very hard to come by now a days. Tomorrow I have to be at the cemetary I had been feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. However, because of these kind people I have faith that good people and good customer service still exists. We have had great experiences at two different Chili's Restaurants in California. We are visiting family in Arizona and went to the one in Sierra Vista last night. We were extremely disappointed! They were completely out of the mashed potatoes and only had fries or broccoli. We all ordered broccoli and it was literally cold. One of our party ordered a rare steak and got medium well. Sent the steak back they said they would bring a plate to collect the cold broccoli. Instead they brought out extra plates full of broccoli and brought a rare steak...that was cold. Took that steak back a second time and finally got it right when everyone else was finished eating. Eek not impressed! read more

We are here at chili's Sierra Vista AZ, for lunch I had the sirloin with potatoes and broccoli and wife had the shrimp salad the restaurant is very clean salsa and chips was very good our waitress ms Patti, she was very nice drinks were coming right a way the steak was good wife liked her salad so we definitely recommend this place they have TVs with sports and poker on fast service over all good! read more

I was here the other night with my son and mother when that Meredith S. Was there and funny how nothing she says that happened ever happened. I watched them complain and want the manager to comp them something ( that's what most people like that want) and then walk out. I was standing at the bar getting a refill and speaking to Lisa when they left and told her not to let it bother her because people like that are just rude and nasty. So I am curious how she chased them down when she was busy talking to and serving me?!?!?! Nothing worse then people who go to places like yelp and tell lies. Yes by the way I was told they made a nasty review on this and that is why I came on to say this to tell what I saw really happen. Typical chain resturant. Have not been to Chilli's in over a year or so. We decided the 2 for $20. My salad was missing half the ingredients and about a fourth of the lettuce was brown or rotting. Only reason I am giving this place 2 starts is because the chips and salsa are pretty good, with that being said, provided the chips are not dripping in oil. Went back to Chilis last night after avoiding it for the last year, wanted to see if it had changed. It has not..... Sat in the bar area, took our waiter 15 minutes to even make it to our table to see what we wanted to drink. Mind you there were 2 waiters and a bartender working and empty seats. They told me to be careful that they were baked on the plate, thought that was pretty cool! I really enjoyed it here, I been to other chili's but this one tops them all. The service was good. I ordered a salad that states ranch dressing with a little spice. I couldn't even finish one bite because it was so spicy. She said next time order it without the spice and brought me another salad. I still got charged for both salads. So I came to this Chili to make a catering order for one of my offices. Problem is that I left my wallet back home in Tucson (100 miles away). Asked manager if he was willing to allow me to pay later by giving him my card info when I got home (2hrs). Now keep in mind, the company I work for does a lot of meetings that require catering. The manager said no. I go across to another restaurant and asked them the same question, and they said yes without hesitation. When I got home later that day, I contacted them and paid them well and committed to order from this place, which btw the food was awesome. The Moral of my story is not always the quality of food that matters but also the quality of good hearted individuals that are willing to help each other out. read more
