Checked on it twice what the status of the meal and the sever says they will be working on it- the seconds status check- the server says no it was made at all and will be making it. The whole table was finished eating and the meal that is missing never came. For the sashimi order the meal was order when it arrived the fish or sushi was sliced too thick it was scary to eat. Great restaurant. Try the General Tso chicken, it's crispy and not very spicy. The staff is very friendly, the ladies always come over to give my son a cookie & tell him how cute he is, my son of course just loves it. The wait was way too long--45 minutes (they said 20). When I finally got my order I said I wanted to double check to see if I had everything and sure enough they had forgotten to give me my fried rice. It was ready-- it was just not in the same bag, but they were ready to send me home without it. Then when we opened up the food at home we all had a good laugh--the food was NOT good. If you are in the Southbay area and want "NOT BAD" Chinese food & you don't want to drive on to the freeway, China China is a good place. It IS turned towards a much more "general" Chinese food eaters. I wouldn't say they are authentic nor great taste, but it wouldn't make me wanna demand my money back. This was my second time coming to this restaurant. My mom ordered with the China China side of the restaurant while the rest of the group ordered from bento & noodles. However by the time everyone was almost done with their food my mom wasn't served the food she ordered. My manager and I are about to order food through the phone 2x and both times we were placed on hold and both times they hung up on us. Then my manager went inside the restaurant and nicely asked why they hung up, the employee respond in a very rude way. This isn't the first, or second , or third times they've been rude to us. The sad part is, we are neighbors in the same shopping center. I suggest the manager respond to this review ASAP, because this isn't the only review I have given you. I ate here a couple months ago, and thought the food was ho-hum. I was there last week for lunch, and I don't know what the difference was, but it was delicious. I was with 3 clients, and it was the same group, as last time. We had basically the same dishes (4), and we all shared, so I tasted everything. My husband and I were very disappointed with this restaurant. The food was bland, the prices were a bit high, and the service was slow. I had the veggie delight, the sauce covering it was thick and gelatinous. My husband had black pepper chicken that was very bland. The sauce was more sweet than savory. I ask my son where he wants to eat on his bday.....and every yr he says CC. I say to him...don't u want to try a different restaurant? His answer is always...."NO"...he likes celebrating his bday with his mom (sometimes family) here. I will be taking him here again soon for his 18th bday. Personally, I like the changes and the new menu. We've been coming here for years when we are in the area. Love the new menu. Before, it was too confusing to have two or three menus. Today I had the Garlic Broccoli with Shrimp. It was fabulous! I'd definitely order it again. For $7.99 I got Hot and Sour Soup (very good); an Egg Roll; rice and the Garlic Broccoli Shrimp with at least 12 shrimp. You could really taste the garlic but it wasn't over powering and the broccoli was crunchy and perfectly cooked. My DH had the Sweet and Sour Chicken with Egg Drop Soup. He said it was very good. This is hands down the tastiest and most fun Chinese restaurant we have been to! The food was wonderful, but more importantly Margaret was the best waitress we have ever encountered! i love this place. i came here once with some co workers and tried the bento box. I came here with my 7 person family when my mom kept raving about how good the food here was. Anywho we all ordered a different dish and I didn't like mine. It was some beef sauteed with garlic, onions and other veggies. My dish was just tasted to much like garlic to actually enjoy. My brother ordered the orange chicken that was really good. We had heard good things about it and because it was nearby, we decided to give it a try. Ordered the Veggie Delight, Kung Pao Chicken, Vegetarian Chow Mein, Spring Rolls and California Sushi Roll. The service was lacking due to the fact that the restaurant was packed! Our waiter brought out the wrong dishes and mixed up our order with other tables. The Veggie delight and chow mein were big disappointments. Definitely lacked flavor. They were very bland, even though we had specifically asked for it to be extra spicy. Asked for the spicy chili paste and Sriracha and THAT did not even help. The spring rolls were not any different tasting from the ones they have at Panda Express. Although I believed the food to be a bit of a disappointment, it may have been the specific dishes we ordered. The Kung Pao Chicken was not as bad. However, there were too many peanuts and not enough variety in the dish. It was O.K and could definitely use some adjustments. Though the server had several errors with the order, he did make the effort to try and compensate for everything. He took off two dishes from our bill because we were not satisfied. Thankful that he was generous in that sense but will definitely not be going back to China China for a good meal. read more

New in the neighborhood thought I'd try this restaurant. They have kids eat free Mondays and Tuesdays and I had my daughter with me. Since she doesn't eat much I thought it would be a great deal. The service was very slow. My daughter's food came fairly quick but my sushi took forever. I ordered two rolls. One was plain and the other was tempura. She brought the easy one out first. I had no chopsticks, no soy sauce. Had to ask her about 3 times for them. My daughter was done eating by the time I got my tempura roll. She told me they forgot my order so she gave me a specialty roll for free. Service was bad but the sushi was decent. If you go there don't go starving cause you'll probably have to wait. read more

We are regulars here, go at least 1/month. Good food from both the Chinese and Japanese menu. Everyone is happy here. Good portions and fast service. Ordered a bento. It was OK. Same taste as Hanaoka or similar restaurants. Nothing special here. I guess if you want something quick and fast Chinese or Japanese style food. This would be it on H st. I never get a refill here ... not even water. Parking is OK. It is a little confusing when you walk in as it is 2 restaurants in one. Next time I will try the Chinese menu. However, It would be nice to drink something down with my food. I will add another star next time if I get a refill, food taste above average and service is good. read more
