Skip this place. I only went because the reviews were good. I ordered seafood delight which usually has lots of liquid. It wasn't good on the rice. Did not care for the huge pieces of celery either. After reading the first 2 reviews, we went there anyway. So we have no one to blame but ourselves. We ordered won ton soup, steamed dumplings, Gen Tsao chicken, pork lo mein, and beef and broccoli. As it turns out, it didn't seem to matter what we ordered because it all tasted pretty much the same. To be fair, the dumplings were decent. We should have stuck to them only. The rest was bland; lacking seasonings and just plain boring. We'd given up on finding decent Chinese food in the Orlando, but someone we trust recommended this place. Well, they were wrong. Not sure why the cook doesn't understand that proper seasonings is the key to what separates the great from the mediocre. Anyone reading this now has 3 clear write-ups about this place. I never write reviews in fact I think I've only written one once before. In short, this place was awful! I'm relatively new to Avalon Park so I trusted the reviews on here. I ordered something simple that typically can't me messed up but boy was I wrong. I ordered combination fried rice (shrimp, pork & chicken) and the chicken was WAY undercooked. In fact, it was basically RAW! After I pushed all the chicken aside for fear of getting sick, the pint of rice I ordered had maybe 5 pieces of shrimp, and the rice had no flavor. Terrible!!!! I also ordered a pint of wonton soup which was also very bland. Needless to say I won't be coming back here ever! read more

Had General Tso's Chicken, when I found the chicken to be overcooked I decided to drive back to talk to manager. I kept the order we had picked on and only took back the totally untouched portion kindly asking for it to be exchanged for something else. The manager refused, not apologizing, stating everyone loves this dish... he suggested I buy a small order of something else then he would "upgrade" to a large... then said if I let it sit out it may soften up?!? Best fried chicken wings and fried dumplings. The sweet dumpling sauce and chili oil sauce are so yummy. I think they reuse their oil way longer than they should though because all their fried dishes kinda taste the same. Usually I would give them 4 stars but apparently only on certain nights. Today (Tuesday) the food is almost inedible. The lo mein tastes oily and does not taste as good as usual total different flavor, the general tsos breading is hard and more breading than chicken and the chicken and broccoli is not the same they put green peppers and alot of other veggies and a spicy sauce. I always love the general tsos here and chicken and broccoli. I don't know if its a different cook different nights or if it was an off night. Almost tasted like leftovers. A shame. Compared to most other Chinese spots, they're very expensive! They were rude too when placing my order. After I finished telling them what I wanted to order (total of 6 orders) I asked if they each came with a soda. They said they come with egg rolls and if I wanted soda I had to say it before placing my order. Finally went to pick up my order. Got home and all my orders were messed up. Most of my orders I ordered with no vegetables, they left vegetables on everything. I ordered pepper chicken and they gave me pepper steak. Oh and I only got 2 egg rolls instead of 6. In the end, the food was okay. And for the price I would've expected better tasting food and better service. Definitely won't be returning here. read more

Where do I start. I went once and ordered dumplings I was very disappointed they were terrible. I had also got the wonton soup. The wontons in the soup itself tasted terrible. It had little to no filling. The dough of the wonton was terrible and super thick. and a few pieces of green onions to top it off the soup it's self was a disaster. So one day I was starving and I tried for second time before I get my nails done I get an order of spring rolls and a fried rice. Long story short it was horrible. The place itself to be placed in Avalon is not kept up the restrooms are dirty but only imagine the kitchen. And when they take money they go back and handle your food with no gloves! read more

Horrible customer service!!! I typically always order the same thing and have order plenty of times from this place but I will never order from this place again. I placed an order for two orders of Mongolian beef I clearly said no vegetables in either one. My husband picked up the food and when he got home both orders had vegetables. I called the place back a man answered and I explained that they had messed up both of my orders, he said they were now closed and couldn't do anything that night but to call back the next day and they would give me one free order of Mongolian beef, take it I ordered two. Reluctantly I agreed, I called back the next day in the afternoon and a lady answered she was very rude once I explained the situation about my messed up order, she literally began to argue with me that it was my fault for not double checking the food at the restaurant when we got it, therefore it was our fault not theirs for messing up the order. I was upset by her behavior and told her I didn't want anything from her and that I would take my business elsewhere. read more
