I just moved in to Orlando and I am trying out all the nearby restaurant and take out places. I ordered the lunch special sesame chicken with fried rice and wonton soup. The portion is huge and the food was delicious. I am very picky when it comes to Chinese food because sometimes I get a headache from it.. Decided to try this restaurant because the other Chinese restaurant was further away. Once I walked into the restaurant I noticed a letter on the wall geared towards its customers. I refuse to continue to patronize people who refuse to be respectful of the people who patronize them. The letter on the wall was towards a select group of folk and we know who based on the area the location is in. We loved China Wok before the shutdown due to COVID and was ecstatic when they reopened. Unfortunately, they have not been the same since reopening, the chicken wings are tasteless and extremely small in comparison to what they once were. The noodles have been way over cooked to the point of sticking together and mushy. We hope they start making money again so the quality of their food comes back, they would easily get 5 stars from us but we've ordered 4x times hoping the quality was back and it just hasn't been. I was craving Chinese food, saw the reviews were good and prices were affordable so I went for it. But the food is awful. My boyfriend and I ordered the combo platters with tso chicken and orange chicken. It was god awful. Literally the sauce almost made me throw up; and it was incredibly watered down, no flavor. A waste of money. To top it off, both of our "meats" were completely undercooked. I don't think it was real meat it tasted so bad. You're better off going to Panda Express. read more

Recently moved to the area and am trying to find "My Chinese Place". I was very disappointed in this one. It ws Dark inside - they had most of the lights out. I'm sure a s a cost savings but it actually looked like it was closed. There were only a few tables and there was one person sitting at each of them. I had Shrimp in Lobster Sauce and it was watery and tasteless. My son had Lo Mein and it was overly greasy. Unfortunately this is not going to be my place. read more

best divey Chinese in the area. The beef lo mein is my favorite. The hot and sour soup is also amazing, but I feel like it has gotten spicier recently. They are fast and very bare bones. It's everything I love about a take-out place. Next to no seating, horrible menu pictures, barely intelligible staff and GREAT food. Probably my favorite quick Chinese food place I've been to. I stop here maybe once or twice a month during my lunch break at work because it's right down the road from where I work. They have a great lunch special/menu - For $5 you get a generously portioned entree (about 30 different lunch special items), choice between white or fried rice, and either a drink or a soup. Can't beat that. My favorites have been the Orange Chicken and lately the Sweet and Sour Chicken. We always call in our order ahead of time because during the lunch hour, they are always busy. Service is great - the lady at the front is quick to get you in and out with your food, and the food is always hot and fresh. As long as they stay open, I'll probably keep swinging by for lunch. Beware of parking. They share a small lot with a bank and a couple of other businesses, so during busy hours (like lunch) you may have to park in the KFC parking lot next door. Also, it's very compact parking. We've seen quite a few parking fender benders in that little area. read more

We ordered wings and fries, pork lo mein, wonton soup, egg roll, egg drop soup, and fried rice. I don't know what they did to the egg roll but it looks like the filling was run through a blender? It was over fried and inedible. The fries were soggy and unappealing. The chicken was over fried and the meat had a yellowish appearance. The wonton soup, which was ordered as a quart, was a quart of liquid that basically tasted like chicken stock, and, and about seven tiny little wontons that had an odd taste. The low main tasted okay but was greasy. We ordered right after they had opened for the day, so there really wasn't any reason that any of it might have been not fresh. So there are only a few items I've had here and honestly, I did enjoy the shrimp lo mein and their fried pork dumplings. The big let down for me was the chow fun. They don't use those really wide, kinda sticky noodles. They seemed like a slightly wider fettucine noodle and didn't stick like I've had in chowfun before. For this, I took away a star. I love noodles and that one really did NOT hit the mark. Not in flavor or texture. I also ordered their steamed c hicken w/ broccoli once w/ a side of garlic sauce. I know this isn't really supposed to be a delish dish, but it is fairly common for take out and this one, the sauce wasn't what I thought it'd be. So, just be warned...
