Place is definitely over hyped on tik tok and instagram. Order a combo plate from the hot bar and got small portions not like advertised on social media and order the spicy orange chicken fries and waited 45 mins for those to come out ! Mind you they had gave me my combo plate first so my food was cold by the time I got the fries. The fries were good but whole experience was not worth it. read more

Okay!!! This is hidden gem right here in Gardena!!!! It is phenomenal for take out Chinese with a sit down restaurant vibe!!!! Ok first off they totally are the kindest people left in the world! Like who is nice and has real customer service skills anymore.??? Ok now the food. First off Chinese food is my favorite food so I am very picky. I can't say I know what authentic is, but I know flavor. This is not sitting out under heat lamps, all greasy and soggy with a bunch of MSG added. This food when you walk in they have it in the trays, but they only have a small amount so you can see what it looks like. Then they go to the back and make whatever you want fresh. Rice and noodles are great not greasy not over salty. Their beef and broccoli is fresh. you can taste the actual flavor of the broccoli and the beef separately the sauce is amazing. I don't normally like orange chicken, but this has a great fresh flavor and is light not sweet and overpowering with Big Giant chunks of breaded chicken. It's light and crispy. The combination chow mein is the best chow mein I've ever had all the vegetables are fresh and it has three kinds of meat. A must try! Milk teas are tasty come in a nice sturdy cup with a cap! Tai Tea is bomb and the green jasmine tea is great too.Last but not least the salt and lemon chicken wings and chille garlic wings are fiiiiiirrrre! It's also affordable not overpriced. By far the best Chinese food in a 75 mile radius from its location. If you're looking for a fast easy and tasteful lunch or dinner, this is the spot.! the kind gentleman in the front explained how they prepare their food and gave me recommendations of what I should try by far. The best customer service I've had I think after this I'm not going back to panda ever again in my life although I wish I lived closer to this place as I live pretty far and only work in the city of LA but even then, so I think it would be worth the drive the facility inside and out is very clean. We found this place through the too good to go app and decided to go because of how close it was. I never noticed it before and Paula said they opened 8 weeks ago. The portion that they gave us for the too good to go order was the perfect size for two people to share (unless you're hungry hungry). The food was so tasty my brother decided to order more. We ended up getting egg rolls, orange chicken and some drinks. For the drinks, we tried the Thai tea with boba and the milk tea with boba(blended drink). Paula suggested that we try half matcha and half milk tea and it was so refreshing I'd definitely order that again! Paula and Tony (I think they're the owners) were so nice,welcoming, and very attentive! You can tell that they care. They even gave us an extra plate with different food from the too good to go order just so we could try more! 20/10 experience every time I go. I've been twice so far and the food AND service is impeccable. The restaurant is nice and clean, and there is seating inside if you want to sit and enjoy your meal there. The first time I went, I ordered they already made food. The wings were recommended by the mail owner, and they did not disappoint!! Today I called ahead and ordered shrimp fried rice and orange chicken. Both owners are so nice, but I spoke to the male owner today and he helped me figure out my spice level of my rice and orange chicken. He also asked if I wanted my orange chicken extra crispy. That was so nice! I decided on medium spicy for both the rice and orange chicken and they gave me a chili oil in case I needed additional spice. The rice has slices of jalapeños in it which also add to the spice. The food is DELICIOUS. It's so fresh and was ready when I arrived. I will absolutely be back, not just for the food, but for the overall experience. It's so nice to see a business with exquisite customer service. read more

I definitely highly recommend going to Chinese Combo in Gardena! They have very friendly and courteous customer service and the restaurant is very clean. I ordered the one item orange chicken combo with fried rice and asked if they could add more egg to the order, so they made it especially for me. What I really like is the food was at a perfect temperature and the food was very delicious and had great portions, so that made me very happy because I got full and couldn't eat it all. Also this April month is their Grand Opening and they will give you a free egg roll if you order a combo meal! They also greet all their customers and make sure you will be happy with your order! Very nice and cozy restaurant! I give them 5 Stars and I will definitely be back very soon and tell my friends to come here! read more

Good value, good tasting Chinese food, very close to Costco. Stopped by after the lunch crush (after 1 pm)..and it was still fairly busy. They have a good selection of popular dishes. We got 2 two item combos ($9.75 each). The combo comes with fried rice and/or lo mein (they say it's chow mein...but it's really spaghetti noodles). We got the orange chicken, spicy beef, broccoli beef, and curry chicken. The fried rice was relatively fresh, with small vegetables with bits of egg and not very dark (little or no soy sauce used). The noodles were average, a bit greasy. The orange chicken had big pieces of chicken, with a batter that wasn't too thick and had good flavor. The broccoli beef had plenty of beef with well-stir fried greens. The curry chicken was very good...it used plenty of the yellow curry paste to give it a strong flavor and the potatoes were not too mushy (indicating the dish had been prepared recently). The spicy beef had good taste, but it was old..been reheated from the night before (the vegetables were mushy and the beef was overly tender)...I should have been able to tell that by looking at it (won't order that again). Very fast, friendly service. Reminds me of the chain Chinese restaurants that we all frequent (Panda Express, Hong Kong Express), just locally owned and in a lot of ways, better. read more

We stopped by for a quick lunch and were warmly greeted by the new owner. We were pleasantly surprised by all the fresh food they offered. They also serve boba teas and smoothies. In the 90's to early 00's, I really enjoyed myself a generic combo plate of chinese food (chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken and beef broccoli). Recently, I noticed a major downgrade in taste for many establishments, and there is a reason you don't get that authentic taste anymore. Before, I remember seeing mainland chefs in the back. I sought and I sought many different restaraunts across the city. Finally, I found CHINESE COMBO. The chef man brought in the fresh chow mein. I was getting costco gas and wanted something close and i choose this place. The tasty goodie on 20th and long beach blvd way better. That's the only one i know in LB that's decent.
