I used to go to this Chipotle all the time but stopped over a year ago as the quality just plummeted. My cousin was kind enough to buy me a gift card for Christmas so I thought I'd give it another try. Well that was a mistake. My gift card clearly states present it on your smartphone but for some reason they said they couldn't scan it. This is the worst chipotle I've ever had. I usually love chipotle but this was terrible the girl threw my choices into the bowl and although the she was fairly generous with the chicken which I appreciated she dumped and excessive amount of cheese on top to the point where I was scooping out bunches of cheese so I could taste something else. The guacamole was a brownish yellowy green and has huge chunks of avocado in it- which normally I'd say hurray more guac but these were massive unripe chunks that still has bits of the pit on them!! 2014 YELP 365 CHALLENGE - 200/365 Came here this past weekend with my bf. One of the actual affordable places to eat on Beverly Blvd in Beverly Hills! It's located right in the middle of the strip. We got here in the late afternoon on Saturday and it wasn't that busy. There were lots of employees but the line was moving kinda slow. They seemed to be confused about the order for the people in front of us in line... I'm not sure why it was confusing to them, but it took longer than usual. Also, when my bf and I were checking out, the cashier accidentally charged me for a soda even though I had asked for a water cup. She had to run a refund on my bf's debit card which was kind of annoying...but at least she fixed it. They've got a decent amount of seating, with tables on both sides of the restaurant. Not the largest Chipotle, but they do have enough to accommodate at least 20 or so people. The walls had this strange pattern on them...I can't even describe it, but it was really weird. What grossed me out the most was that the walls had tons of stains on them! It looked really dirty and I was kind of disturbed that they hadn't been removed! Overall...I've definitely had better experiences at other Chipotles. 3 stars. read more

I am a huge fan of Chipotle, but my experience here today will deter me from coming back to this location. I have been to this location once before and everything was fine. Today I walked in and was ordering for my co-worker who text me her order. As I ordered I was reading her order off of my phone. The employee that was handling the tortilla signaled to the employee handling the meat and beans and made a comment about me in Spanish. He also called me a "gringa". People tend to assume that I am not Latina and don't speak spanish. I know that it was me, because I saw him look at me from the corner of my eye and I was the only woman in line at the time. 3.5 stars. Considering I pass a Chipotle everytime I go over to Huntington Beach, it's a little ridiculous that my first Chipotle experience was all the way in L.A. After dragging my friend to 14 Karats with me to look at rings, he forced me to eat here with him and after I told him I wasn't hungry, he proceeded to go ahead and order a chicken burrito (even after I told him I was trying to give up meat again...) There in front of me was a 2094820939 pound burrito filled with rice, veggies, and chicken and who was I to let it go to waste? Forget everything I said about vegetarianism, forget that I wasn't even hungry and let alone ate lunch about 2 hours prior.... Finally, I decided it was about time to pop my chipotle cherry. Bite after bite, I kept asking the same question "Is this really healthy?" until my friend finally lied to me but at least it was what I wanted to hear... One of my greatest accomplishments in my life was devouring two Alerto's burritos (one carne asada and one breakfast burrito) in one sitting when I was 18 years old, and today marked another equally important milestone: out-eating my guy friend and finishing not only the whole chicken burrito (while he threw a couple bites of his away) but also finishing it about 7 minutes faster than a BOY. I love Chipotle but this is one location I would avoid. I usually get their salads and love the dressing that comes with it . This location is close to my work but I hardly come because parking is a pain, especially during lunch time. If you're lucky, you can find a meter; otherwise you can try parking in the public parking lot. The lines are always super long unless you go for a late late lunch. The employees are really nice but the food is their downfall. My gripe with this location is they fill their salad dressing cups a little less than halfway and charge you if you want extra. Really? Secondly, i'm not sure if they're food is frozen, but the corn salsa is ice cold. I've sometimes eaten corn that still have frozen bits to it. Finally got over there to try the new "Garden Blend" that they can now add to tacos, bowls and burritos. Garden Blend is basically a fake meat that vegans and vegetarians can eat. I added to my veggie burrito and found it be dry and tasteless - it basically didn't add anything to the burrito. They are new to fake meats and may not yet know how to handle it, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt and will try again in a few months. Until then I will just stick with the veggie burrito (sans fake meat). They need to learn the correct marinating and cooking techniques to maintain the moisture and to add flavor. Chipotle is a staple of my diet... it's good, nothing great, pretty inexpensive, and usually very fast. I work in the area, so I did what I've done with other locations in the past, and ordered online. Huge mistake. When I got there at the time my order was supposed to be ready, the cashier pointed me toward a door down a hall behind the registers. Great, I thought, I can just grab my food and go. Nope. Stood there while the people prepping the orders in the back purposely avoided eye contact and pointedly ignored my, "Excuse me?"s... during which time about ten walk-in customers ordered their food, paid the cashier, and left. FINALLY, the woman looks up and asks for my name. I give it to her, and she hands me the bag with my name on it that was sitting right next to her -- a process that should take 5 seconds. Dig Chipotle, even though it is owned by McDonald's. It's very busy until around 2:30pm, but very fast. The carnitas is popular, but mine was a bit salty the other day. Big burritos, burrito bowls, tacos etc. And a very simple menu, if not snippy servers who want to move you through quickly (fair enough). Parking is tough; meters are your best bet. Everything is under $6, but doesn't come with chips, and their explanation on the cups don't ring very sincere. But the guacamole is great! read more

I came here on a busy day and ordered a veggie burrito. I always get it because I LOVE the soft tortillas at Chipotle. But the person who toasted the tortilla on my burrito left it in for way too long. By the time I sat down to enjoy my burrito the bread was crumbling. I was so sad! The bread is the best part!! So I went to the register and asked for another tortilla - again, they left it in too long and it was way too crispy!!! I was so over it at this point. Great chipotle with a very vibrant staff that makes the best burritos out there! They got free parking in the back but its pretty limited, but if you come to the area before 6 pm you get free parking in the cities lots located all over the place. They have a lot of seating in here, maybe like 10 tables that hold 4 people and an outdoor seating area. read more

But it's a decent fast food Mexican/Americanized joint option for the South Beverly Drive when you've exhausted all other eats. Basic menu (which I like) and they serve beer.
