I LOVE BEVERLY HILLS' (CHIPOTLE) It's not any fancier than other places - but the staff is AWESOME!! I've never had such an amazingly scrumptious quesadilla-burrito at any Chipotle before! The guys there piled on about TWO HANDFULS of cheese and grilled the tortilla to perfection. I was in love! The ingredients here are most definitely top quality in the west LA area. This one shines like a Beverly Hills boutique store - especially since the quality of meat found at Westwood Chipotle sucks. Yes, I know Chipotle is a chain, but only one in Beverly Hills. I used to work down the street from this store. One day I was really hungry and was lining up behind David Beckham. I love soccer so that made my day. Anyways, I don't like the burritos here so I always get the burrito bols. I try not to get the sour cream because it makes me kind of sick. the meat quality is pretty good, but they are stingy. Overall it is not bad. My only beef is that it is right down the block from Beverly High or whatever high school near there. There are a lot of annoying teenagers after school time. AMAZING... They will make your burrito perfect if you know how to order it... tell them in advance to shake out your beans and salsa so your burrito isn't soggy, and make sure to get Guacamole!!!! Also, a margarita for 4$ isn't bad in bev hills and they're strong so that's GREATT I am a veggitarian so I can't vouch for the meat or dairy they have but I assume it's good because everything I get is always good. One of my favorite things about Chipotle (other than the amazing tasting food... I'll get to that later) is how each location is so consistent with their brand. Even at international locations, I know I can always count on feeling at home at Chipotle. This location lives up to my high Chipotle standards! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor! There wasn't a line when we went around 6:15 PM which was awesome considering that's prime dinner hour! The staff was very friendly and smiled a lot while serving me. The Kid's Taco Kit is my favorite item on the menu, you can get two tortillas, 3 fillings, a small bag of chips or fruit, and a drink for only $5! When I emailed Chipotle following my food poisoning last year, I received an email from the general manager (with all Chipotle general managers cc'd to my surprise) with his sincerest apologies. I explained to him that I wasn't allergic to anything that I knew of and that I've been ordering the same EXACT burrito every time I've come to Chipotle. He offered me free coupons in hopes that I'd one day make my return. 3 months later I've tried the same thing more than 6x and have had no problem. Burritos tasted great as usual. In conclusion, I definitely was food poisoned that one day and have had no problem since. Much thanks to the concerned staff of Chipotle. Boy am I glad that I'm not allergic to anything there. I'm a huge sucker for a Chipotle burrito. I would eat them every day if I wouldn't be obese. In fact, I think if I ever do find a Genie, that would be a wish, along with the ability to stop time and more genies. This Chipotle lives up to the greatness that is the Chipotle brand. Chipotle has grown on me like that annoying friend you have that you forgot was annoying to begin with. But, I suppose, getting free food from a restaurant for a week will do that to you. You would think the opposite would happen, that by getting free food one would get sick and tired of it, but no I fell in love. How did I get free chipotle for a week? My friend and I snuck into the last home game of the UCLA basketball season (Stanford). It was fan appreciation day, so anyone with a ticket was rewarding with a free burrito. Students with season tickets don't get tickets, we get a little flyer called "the dirt". I got a flyer and made about 50 copies. I handed them out to friends, relatives, and homeless people. I proceeded to eat Chipotle for the next week. I tried everything, carnitas, steak, chicken, the bowl, barbocoa, EVERYTHING. It was all free because, in case you don't know this, you also get a free drink with student ID. Well, after a week of consuming copious amounts of burritos, I decided a few things. One, that American style Mexican food can be ok, too. In fact, I think there should be a clear distinction between the styles. I love Chipotle. Along with In and Out, this is my favorite on-the-go-quality-meal place to eat. l also love the fact that everytime I walk in their they are playing some awesome music, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Portishead, and a bunch of other music I can't identify. I like this place Baja Fresh has fallen by the wayside. They have carnitas which is a personal favorite of mine. The barbacoa I am not to crazy abou their shredded beef. Maybe the corn salsa was too spicy. The corn did look mighty good though LOL. The rice is amazing I cannot believe that it is just rice. The beans I like this I will eat. Parking is not easy to find here and when you do time being permitted you have can lunch on the patio. Gets a little noisy when there are the HS kids in the joint. read more

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this specific chipotle. A particular server by the name of Jacob was extremely disrespectful and uncivil towards me and my friends. He clearly did not want to be there and made it very evident, taking out his frustration on my friends and I. Not growing up in Southern California, it always seemed weird to me to be eating a burrito in Beverly Hills. I love this location. I always do take out because it's too crowded for me to enjoy my food there. I either order via iphone or online. They've yet to get my order wrong or make me wait. When it's crowded you pick up your order at the back entrance. When it's empty you pick it up at the main register out front. They recently started doing burrito valet. So you can just drive out back and they'll bring you your to go orders right to you. That's great since parking can be an issue around here. If the workers would give me a discount for being hispanic they'd have gotten 5 stars but at least you know they don't favor their own :D read more

Always a quick and easy lunch. I always get the burrito bowl with chicken. Overall the quality of meat is good, but sometimes there's a few pieces that are too fatty and not the best pieces. The chips and guacamole with salsa is always good though the chips can be stale. Regardless of some minor food quality issues- chipotle tastes great what can i say. I'd even say it's addicting and I crave it. I'm not sure how much healthier a burrito bowl is than a burrito or tacos but I'll pretend it is and continue eating here. I've also just gotten the quesadillas and much easier to eat than their huge burritos and just as tasty. Lastly their service is always great. Never had a complaint about them. read more

FOR SOME REASON, this location does not seem to be able to get an order right, even when you are standing there in front of them. The last six orders we placed for take out as well as for delivery have been WRONG. When it's been delivered, items have been left out. Perhaps they fell out of the bag, as their packaging also leaves a LOT to be desired. Last delivery, it all leaked and left a trail of juice behind me. Then, the bag broke, and the drinks fell out. This is not what you want when you order in, more clean up work before you can eat. Speaking of eating, the food seems to be a bit more salty than it used to be and just leaves me uncomfortable and bloated. But they tried to make up for all of that the last time. I received a bonus, a big, long hair woven into my food. Now, I am in favor of giving people jobs, but putting those whose command of the English language leaves much to be desired on the telephones to take orders is just not good business. It's sloppy and unprofessional. Sure, hire them, but wait until they have mastered understanding and speaking the language before putting them on the phone to take orders, just sayin'. Perhaps that's why so many orders are so completely wrong. No, wait, even the online orders were wrong, and those were on a screen in black and white. I am a regular at this Chiptole branch and eat here nearly everyday. Today, as I walked in, I was told by the manager that I will not be served because somebody got in a fight in the parking earlier that day and that I fit the description. Keep in mind, that I was at school the entire day and was nowhere near the location. I tried to explain my situation to him, but he rudely continued to ignore me. I am in shock at the way I was treated. I guess eating there daily and providing continual business doesn't exempt you from being misprofiled and accused wrongfully. Reason for 2 Stars: the fact that I can get more authentic, better tasting Mexican food, plus a great atmosphere for a cheaper price. Whenever I go to find to Beverly Hills, I feel like I'm going to a museum. You can't touch anything, and there are security dudes everywhere pointing out that you're probably leaning to close to a bag, that someone rich and famous could wear. Isn't that what they do when you lean to close to Queen "so and so's" dress at a museum? So where the hell does anyone eat here without spending a months rent? Chipotle. That's where. After eating Sprinkles we had a enough energy to march to freaking Mexico itself, but instead we entered Chipotle and in to the line. It must have been the time school gets let out, because it was filled to the brim with pimply raunchy 16 year old's talking loudly and pretending they were the bees knees. Anyways I got a chicken bowl and couldn't believe I was doing it or eating it because I have had so much better. Have ben to this location many times. sadly things are going downhill fast with this place. I went in and ordered a salad. they made the entire salad and i go to the register and they don't offer me any Dressing. this is the second time this has happened.. last time i got home and found none. this time i made sure to ask. and the guy said sorry we don't have any.. well i said don't you think you should have said something before you made a SALAD???? So he goes in the back and Brings me out a single cup of dressing the problem is the little cup as all but empty. it had about 1/4 inch of dressing. i laughed at him and said your kidding right? i then asked to speak with the manager who reluctantly came out with 2 more pretty empty little cups.... don't cheat your customers. i went home pissed and made my own dressing just as good if not better and it cost me pennies. ill be passing on this place next time. read more

So I have to admit, I am addicted to Chipotle the same way some people are addicted to their Blackberrys. I row for UCLA and so all of this talk about how many calories one burrito has or how much fat it contains never really disturbs me. I order the steak burrito, which is actually pretty spicy, and some guacamole and chips. Their guacamole is so savory and wonderful, I wish you could buy it in supermarkets! My only complaint of this location is their proximity to some ritzy middle or high school that has kids pouring into the location around three and clogging it with their giggling pretentiousness and baby hipster snobbery. Parking can be tricky as well. They have 5 or 6 spaces behind the restaurant, but you have to know how to get down the alley to get to them. My advice would be to park in the garage about half a block up from them who gives an hour of free parking, free being the key word. Bon appetit! read more

Fajita Burrito Chicken Rice Pico de Gallo Salsa Green Salsa Guacamole Sour cream Cheese Yumm, I'd give it the last star, but this location has horrible parking and the wait is horrendous. (see review for details) I had some shopping to take care of before my trip back to the NYC - so we went the the Beverly Center - and then I saw the sign.... My love for The Chipotle runs very deep. I stopped in after a marathon shopping event on Bev Blvd. I got a chicken burrito and the girl making my burrito was very very sweet. I just went to Chipotle last week during my lunch break with a coworker. I would come to this particular Chipotle because it's convenient and it is walking distance from my office. This place is always busy, you always see a handful of people, and it gets more crowded during lunch time! But the lines move on pretty quickly, almost like cafeteria style...that's one of the things Chipotle is known for. I got the Barbacoa burrito with rice, salsa, sour cream, mild hot sauce and a little bit of corn with guacamole. It was a fatty burrito and it was delicious! I was completely satisfied. I love Barbacoa, such a unique type of meat that isn't dry like chicken. I bought the burrito and a drink for about $8, which isn't bad. One thing I don't like is their drink selection. There is just like coke and like three other types of soda, plus lemonade. I just hope you like coke or lemonade. So after my first bite I remember I needed the smoked Tabasco sauce. They also have the green and regular Tabasco sauce and they are good too. I pretty much inhaled my burrito afterwards. LOVED IT! Will definitely continue coming here read more

Chipotle. Yup, the big, bad "C". Let it be known that I am a burrito whore. Things wrapped in large flour tortillas makes me smile. I've just come back from my first experience at Chipotle. This is my story. I walked into Chipotle with some coworkers and was smacked in the face with a line of about 20 or more people. As we weaved our way to the end of the line I told my coworker (who is a devout Chipotlian) that this had better be one good goddam burrito. He motioned to the large line of people and said, "What does that tell you?" "That it's a good goddam burrito or all these people are morons", was my reply. And I'm still torn with that decision. Subway for burritos. Cool idea, though there isn't a whole lot of wild options. I had most of everything put on my burrito (beef, rice, pinto beans, corn salsa, pico de gallo, sour cream, cheese, and guac.) and I would never consider this particular combo "adventurous", "cutting edge", or "crazy, like, OMG, WOW, WTF?" Just a burrito stuffed with all the usual suspects. Side note: what's up with the rice? Is that rice pilaf or something? Why's it white? I've seen my mom cook Spanish rice enough times to know what goes in and it has never come out looking white. Another side note: I pay extra for the chips? FUCK YOU! That is all. So we manage to find seating in the joint (which is seemingly 5 square feet) and get ready to dig in. First off, the thing is huge. I will give Chipotle that much. The burrito is almost twice the size of the burritos I get at Poquito Mas. This would help explain why the price tag for this burrito is $2 higher at Chipotle than at Poquito Mas. First bite and my reaction was "Is the tortilla burned?" Tasted similar to the tortillas my mom often times forgets on the tortilla plate at home. They have that nice "carbon" taste. But no, the tortilla was not burned, perhaps a bit cool to the touch, but that could have been caused by the sour cream. I ate the whole thing. For the most part, the burrito danced the realm between tastey and bland. Might I remind you that this was a burrito with pretty much the works on it. Bland is not what I should be thinking about while grubbing on it. I tasted the chopped beef. Yup, bland. Tasted like, well, meat. Nothing less, and most notably, nothing more. But decent, is what I concluded. Is Chipotle the best food I've ever eaten? Hell no! Is it decent? Sure. Is it a bargain? Not if you consider you could get a tastier burrito at Poquito Mas (albeit, ironically, a bit smaller) for $2 less. Perhaps if Chipotles were more numerous and were easier to get to (as opposed to the oblivion that is Beverly Hills) I would be more willing to try them again. As it stands though, Chipotle is just simply not good enough to warrant the hassle it is to go there, and not nearly tastey enough (and cheap enough) to pry me away from Poquito Mas. Chipotle. First off, I just get the heebeejeebees walking into Chipotle. It's the same feeling I get when I walk into Starbucks. It's the feeling that if I were to pass by on the street I'd want to kick my own ass and sneer at myself, "You fuckin' lemming. Why don't you grow your hair out into some pathetic retro-chic style and start gossiping about American Idol while you're at it." I don't like it. I hate it in fact. I feel like I'm helping the wrong side of the war I wage against assorted Flavors Of The Month. Anyway, I went there to try the carnitas burrito, which I was told was better than the asada burrito. Indeed it was. It contained the same stuff the first burrito I tried had (with the exception of black beans instead of pinto). Overall this was a tastier burrito. The carnitas definitely had a more pronounced taste than the asada and the drops of the Chipotle Tabasco sauce provided a good oomph. But the million dollar question, would this burrito be enough to turn my Chipotle bashing ways? I have to say no. While I concede that the burrito was better than the first one I tried, the simple fact that, IMO, I can get a tastier version of this at Poquito Mas for a slightly cheaper price, and not have to deal with the 1.5 million other Chipotle customers at this location alone (although the eye-candy is always quite nice), means that I probably won't be visiting another Chipotle again for some time. read more

I typically dislike Chipotle. Why would you opt for steriled Mexican food when any taco truck in LA will beat it hands down? Convenience won out. Initially I was pleased because the staff in BH was friendly. Most importantly the meat scooper wasn't shiesty on the serving size (unlike near USC). As a Crackpotle addict, I rate each location with a passion. I criticize because i love and I care. Its tough love. This location is becoming my fave (I've dined in about 8 different), though they still cant beat the Culver City downtown one. Yes, it did help that I used to go the the Culver one 2-3 times a week, and the gals recognized me. They aren't skimping on portions here. i hate when you have to ask for more rice, more peppers, more cheese, etc. When i ask for cheese, i don't mean a pinch of it. Some Chipotle just don't get it. 5 things are key in all Chipotle: Well seasoned rice, well seasoned peppers and onions, Well grilled and seasoned chicken/ meat, Good guacamole and fast workers. This one has all 5 nailed. SOmetimes they are little slower, cus of stupid people asking to customize every part of the burrito. But for the most part, they are quick. and when you ask for extra anything, there is never an attitude. I LOVE the guac here. Going to school in NY, there's not a ton of great Mexican food. Sure you can spring for something fantastic but on a student's budget there isn't too much to offer. Chipotle became my beacon of home, and remained so until I returned to LA and welcomed the delicious world of authentic Mexican cuisine (including food trucks). SInce then, Chipotle has just been... bland to me. I've doused it in tabasco, requested tons of hot sauce and it's still just kind of plain. Despite all that, Chipotle is still a fine choice for lunch on S Beverly Dr. Why? -Organic chicken -Brown rice That's right, at a Chipotle. I just learned last night that the guy who sold Chipotle to McDonald's bought it back when Mickey D's refused to serve organic/local products. For a mere $6, I got a burrito as big as my head with organic meat and brown rice. I guess the healthier choice would've been to go with a salad or bowl instead of a burrito but that'll be next trip. Not sure if these awesome and health-conscious ingredients are available at the other Chipotles but they're definitely at this one. Plus, the people working there are FAST. It's Chipotle, what more can I say? It's good, not authentic, but a solid option for a quick and cheap lunch that isn't junk food. Actually, there is no junk food in Beverly Hills... not even an In N Out! Anyways... this is the friendliest staffed Chipotle I've ever been to. There are 2 or 3 employees here that are always SO NICE. They've cut my burrito in half and even gave me a substantial free sample of their new tofu option even though I had already ordered steak. The downside to this location is finding parking during the lunch rush and the cramped seating inside. There is a big lot right across that offers free 2 hour parking before 5pm, but is usually full from 1-2, then there's a small pricey lot right behind it and metered street parking. read more

I had to write about the great experience I had today! It was the 1st time that I used the online ordering process and it was great! Not only did I not have to wait in line, but there is a separate window to pick up my online order so I did not need to be in the way of the dine-in people line. I paid for my order while placing it online, so I was able to just walk up to the window, give the dude my name (in this case I believe his name was Pierre), he handed me my bag and I was on my merry way! BONUS: I was a bit early from the time I said I would pic it up, but Pierre gave me my drink so I could drink it while I waited for him to complete my order (so very considerate of him). THEN, as I was back at the office happily eating my burrito, I received a call from Pierre asking if everything was good and correct with my order!! Whaaaaat!? Customer Service gets and A+++ .... the food, as always, was fantastic as well! (nothing negative to Chipotle... just a tip... parking is a bit chaotic during lunch time in that area so be prepared. I happened to get lucky and get a spot quickly, hence getting there earlier than expected.) read more

Is it just me or is that new "Welcome!" thing starting to get on your nerves? Along with "How is your day going?" (which I actually really like) it's one of those corporate strategies for making a place feel less corporate. And somehow -- funny thing -- it never ever sounds welcoming. Nowhere is this more of a problem than at this branch of Chipotle, where management has apparently instructed each of its half dozen employees to scream WELCOME!!! to every single customer who walks through the door. I mean every single one. The cacophony is laughable, especially when you look at the grim, sullen faces of the people saying it. Rolling those swollen burritos, resenting their managers, hating their jobs -- can you blame them? Which brings us to the food. Food? Oh yeah the food. You've been to Chipotle.
