This establishment is the opposite of the chipotle way no ingredients (no corn, no cheese, no steak, no chips, no lettuce, no queso, no ice and more) I accept high and stocked up quality ingredients and sadly was mistaken. After this I headed to grab a refreshing drink after a long day and there was no ice in site. After this I went into the bathroom and the smell of chemicals was unbearable. I was so exhausted and ready to eat my meal when I was met with a whole avocado as so called guacamole. I have been a loyal costumer to chipotle for years throughout the us and respect them as a corporation and just want what is best for the industry. I love Chipotle. It is my go-to for a scrumptious and reliable meal. Never in my days have I been to a Chipotle so pathetic. I ordered a quesadilla just for the employee to come back and tell me he forgot they are out of cheese. Then, as I was ordering, they happened to not just be out of cheese, but they were out of steak, corn, lettuce, queso, chips, and ice. I was so disappointed. It was a horrible representation of Chipotle's usual politeness and service. Not to mention, the restaurant was a mess: straws all over the place, melted ice on the soda machine, and overflowing trash cans. I understand that it was near closing and they had run out of food, but this was diabolical. The service, the lack of toppings, and the overall service from the employees was very disappointing. Well - I said I wouldn't come back to this specific location bc of previous experience. But I said hey - I really want Chipotle and I am in Hershey give them another chance. Right off the bat - cleaner - and food looked recently cook. BUT fckn Audrey! LOL - that girl hates life and her job. Was not friendly. Genuinely the worst Chipotle experience and employees i've ever dealt with. They were so skimpy with the ingredients i was still hungry after eating the whole bowl. Legit 1/2 scoop of everything. Even with all the ingredients the bowl was still less than halfway filled. The chicken made my stomach hurt and the juice tasted like an orange peel too. I had an excellent experience in the store ordering my food. We ordered two bowls the young men Behind the counter were very nice and polite. The food portions were very acceptable. Especially the proteins. My only complaint is. Is anyone measuring the amount of sodium being added to the food. I do love some Chipotle on occasion. They were so much better when they first came out & served organic food. It has been downhill ever since to original owner sold out. That being said, every time I come to the Hershey Chipotle I question my judgment. Today, there was a sign on the door that said, "Sorry, we are out of white rice." then handwritten "and forks." How does a restaurant run out of forks when that is how your customers eat your food? If I were a manager or franchise owner, I would make a trip to the nearest club store to buy a case of forks using petty cash. White rice? No big deal because they had brown rice & they taste the same to me. But it must make a difference to others because they left after reading the sign. Back to my food. I ordered a burrito (how was I going to eat a bowl or salad with a spoon). Looked over the proteins to find the freshest one that wasn't dried out from sitting on the line. I chose the shredded pork and all the toppings. It was delicious. My issue was the way it was served to me. A delicious, overstuffed, juicy burrito wrapped in one piece of foil was given to me. No tray, basket, or bowl. Shouldn't be a problem but the foil isn't big enough to keep the burrito together so it's falling apart as I eat it while holding it. What a mess. I'm glad that I was sitting at a table outside the restaurant. Cleanliness: they must have been hit with a rush before the hockey game because the soda and condiment area was wiped out and a mess. People are slobs. There were a few forks in the utensil area but since I ordered a burrito, I didn't think I would need it. The tables were clean. The lady's room was a mess & had a broken paper towel dispenser. On the way to the bathrooms, there is a bulletin board with their inspection report. Everything was in compliance except the temperatures of the hot & cold food. But everyone is aware of that because it was on the news due to company-wide issues. The staff were courteous but looked like they were beaten up and fighting a losing battle trying to smile through the comments about the forks and rice. My recommendation would be to get your food to go if you can. Focus on the good food but have access to your own forks. I will give them another chance since the food is so good. read more

I went with my family when it was not busy, after dinner rush and was disgusted by how much neglect the employees and Manager had in this place. During my visit, I noticed the following issues: 1. Food preparation counters were visibly dirty and not being cleaned between uses. 2. Trash bins were overflowing, with waste spilling onto the floor in areas accessible to both employees and customers. 3. Employees appeared unconcerned about maintaining cleanliness and were standing around rather than addressing these issues. Additionally: * Employees were not wearing gloves or practicing proper hygiene when handling food. * The restrooms were unsanitary, lacked soap, or had other issues compromising hygiene. * A strong odor of spoiled food or trash was present in the establishment. I believe these conditions pose a serious risk to public health and safety. I did not see 1 person out of the 7 or 8 that were there to clean anything up. They were all just standing around laughing and talking. I will be contacting the PA department of health to investigate this facility. read more

First the lady in front of me had never been to chipotle before and didn't understand the ordering process and the girls behind the counter were rude to her. When it was my turn to order I asked for steamed white rice and they did not have any they only had brown rice that was on the counter Not heated. I got a bowl with the brown rice chicken corn guac and light lettuce. The food looked good but once I started eating it it was cold, the chicken taste it old, and The avocados in the guac were not even ripe!! I was so upset that I wasted $13 on this food that I couldn't even eat. I will not be back to this chipotle! UPDATE: chipotle called me to refund my money and get the whole story. We went Saturday for lunch. Counters had food everywhere. Grill needed to be cleaned hours ago. Under the drink station was filthy. The food itself was ok but for 3 items it cost me $40. That's crazy. No prices on the board anywhere. One and done for me. The commercials you see on TV with fresh this and that are only for TV. I've tried this location twice and would not recommend. I love Chipotle but this location is absolutely filthy. On both visits the food prep area was not wiped down during the entirety of either of our stays, with bowl components strewn everywhere. I'm gluten and dairy free and seeing the shredded cheese in the guacamole and lettuce was contamination of those ingredients. The floors in the kitchen were loaded with food and garbage. She also just had some kind of attitude especially after I asked for extra chicken. This is by far the worst experience I've had and considering it's in Hershey I would've thought it would be a great spot. This chipotle needs to work on their customer service. While the food is good, the employees working on the line need additional training in food hygiene and safety. I went in recently and ordered a bowl and wanted queso. I looked into the queso and saw that one of the little yellow plastic v-shaped things (how they mark that a bowl has extra meat/queso) had fallen into the queso. These triangle things are handled by multiple people without gloves, I've seen them picked up off the floor and put back onto the line, etc. I asked for the woman serving me if I could get queso from a different container but she just pulled the plastic piece out and continued serving that queso. Unless these pieces are washed and/or replaced every single night (which I highly doubt), that is incredibly unsanitary and kind of disgusting. I can't even imagine how old these yellow plastic things are and how many different people have handled them. To serve that to a customer was kind of shocking and makes me concerned about the overall quality and safety of anything they serve there. read more

Upon entering the restaurant it was dirty, glass looked like it hadn't been wiped in a while and you could barely see the options. It was three young girls they instantly seemed annoying and didn't seem like they wanted to take the order. Their hair was down...down which is AGAINST THE FDA!! Despite having 10 employees working, nearly all of the ingredients toppings were out, while employees sat around chatting in the kitchen. The line itself was a mess with ingredients smeared around. There was egregious cross contamination of the pans with clearly not effort being made to stop cheese and sour cream from falling into other pans. As it happens, the only pan that didn't contain cheese, was in fact the cheese pan. The bathroom lacked any toilet paper or soap, and was clogged. Do better read more

We frequent Chipotle as it is usually consistent in quality and is a healthier choice than most casual food places. This location missed the mark, unfortunately. First, they ran out of kids trays which isn't a huge deal if that was the only issue - food not touching is a big plus with that crowd. The main issue was that they ran out of fajita veggies and salad dressing at 5:30pm. I'd understand if it was at the end of the night but not right before the dinner. Portions were also at least a quarter less than other locations. Servers were nice but management could improve on their training by instructing them on how make the customer experience better ie provide substitutes for the customer, if kids trays aren't available, don't pile ingredients on top of one another read more

I love Chipotle, it is hands down my favorite fast food and I have it every week. I stopped by this chipotle on the way to Hershey Park and while the flavor was there for the most part, the portion sizes were pitiful compared to what you can expect from any other Chipotle. Not to mention they up-charged us at every turn (charging for a large drink when got a small, charging for a double scoop when only half-half). It will work in a pinch, however this location does not live up to the standard that one would expect from a Chipotle. I hope in the future they improve upon the aforementioned points. read more

Next, we got in line, we were told they do not offer the quesadillas that we get everywhere else, only kids ones, which was annoying but ok. Then we go down and they're out of pico de gallo, guac, and corn salsa, bowl was tiny, half the size of a normal bowl, then the young man on the salsa line, decides to say "sorry, we dont have sh**". Terrible uninviting language for a fast food worker. The young lady at the register was rude, everyone had earbuds in, they should be listening how to a run a restaurant.
