Very positive experience coming here on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to take advantage of the buy one get one free deal and got a burrito and a bowl. The staff was very friendly. They didn't know about the deal, but once we showed them the promotion they were immediately able to confirm. The food was really good. They did not skimp out on any of the ingredients. At the time of writing this review, the score of 1.9 stars is completely justified. Came to this location 2.5 hours before closing and they were out of white rice, black beans, steak, carnitas, barbacoa, and only had enough chicken for a half bowl. I asked how long before white rice would be re-upped and was told not before closing. I asked how long it took to make and was told 1.5 hours. I bypassed the line and walked to the cashier and asked to speak to the floor manager because that rice in no way could possibly take that long. New rice was brought out within five minutes. They had just finished cooking chicken and I asked to wait for it to be cut so I could have chicken in my bowl. It sat on the counter for ten minutes while workers were all preoccupied with the line worker who had gotten a small muffin from another coworker for a snack. Pretty sure the guy doing his best to ignore me went into the walk-in to eat the muffin while I was waiting for the chicken which is sitting on the cutting board with the knife resting on top of it. I'm just standing there like what the hell is happening right now. I asked to get a receipt so that I could leave a review on the corporate website after seeing the the prompt on the side of the cup. Was told that they receipt machine was broken but pointed out the person after me had a receipt printed. Magically it happened to get fixed. Not sure why the place was in disarray since there was no food to serve... Corporate needs to legit clean house in every sense of the word with this location. It's KILLING the brand trustworthiness. I see why this place has a low rating and I cannot believe management isnt doing anything to rectify it. Just experienced the worst customer service at this establishment. So I order my food and pay with a $20 bill (an old fashioned $20 bill) and the GEN Zs behind the counter detect the $20 that they havent ever seen in their technology having, tik-tok trending, cant write in cursive, delicate feeling , unemotional, youtube video creating idiot lives. You would think one of those damn videos wouldve taught these kids how to detect fake money. They take the $20 in the back for a good 1-2 minutes to come back and say the money is fake. Ironically there were 2 cops in the establishment so I pull one to the side and tell him to tell these little babies who havent experienced life, that the $20 is real. He detects the $20 and mentions it is real a few times. He then asked one employee if he had a counterfeit pen and the employee responded "no." What company dealing with money doesnt have a counterfeit pen?? Leave it to the gen-z's go figure! Needless to say I will never go back to this location. Service here is absolutely horrific!!! My takeout order wasn't ready on time and no one would help the other employee putting it together despite no customers being in the store for most of my wait. I'm usually a loyal Chipotle customer, and they've always satisfied my appetite with their fair-sized burritos. However, my recent visit to the Manchester location left me quite disappointed. First, the long wait in line was a bit frustrating, but what truly irked me was the experience while having my burrito made. As I ordered my usual $10 chicken, rice, beans, and lettuce burrito, I noticed something unusual. The person making our burritos seemed to be skimping on the ingredients. With each scoop of food, they'd deliberately shake off almost half of it, leaving us with a noticeably smaller portion. I couldn't believe it. I finally confronted the worker when I realized how little chicken I was being served. I asked why he was being so stingy with the ingredients, and he explained it was because I'd have to pay extra for more. It felt unreasonable - all I wanted was a PROPER scoop of chicken... not 1/2 of what I'm paying for! To make matters worse, nearly 90% of my burrito seemed to be tortilla, and it wasn't even properly folded... It was a disappointing experience overall. I've never in my life finished a burrito so quickly... 4 normal bites (of straight rice beans and lettuce) & I was more than half way done with it and to my surprise, my girlfriend had the same complaint. She's not someone who typically complains about food, so this was a clear sign that something was off. I felt so robbed at this chipotle compared to any other ones. My favorite location I go to is on south willow street Manchester . The girl that works the line, blonde young girl is the best. Very hard worker, fast and friendly. Sometimes they do run out of items that you want, but it's a very busy location it seems. Can't blame the workers for that. read more

I decided to give it another go. I am happy I did. I placed an online order and prayed for the best. My prayers were answered and then some. My bowl was 100% correct, and STUFFED. The place was filthy, not a single clean table in the restaurant, the windows were disgusting, half of the soda dispensers were not working, and the garbage was overflowing. The food was overcooked and tasted terrible and the staff looked absolutely miserable. To cap it off, the credit card machine was not working, so it was cash only...which we were only informed of after getting to the register. I just can't with this Chipotle anymore, I just CAN'T. I've been eating here occasionally since they opened and I really do like the food at Chipotle but as others have noted things have gone from bad, to worse, to WTF and shows no signs of improving. Over the past year or two the issues here have gone from once in a while to every other visit to you're lucky if they get it more than 50% right on any given order. From missing items, severe under-portioning and nothing even close to consistency to cross-contamination they all have a common theme, lack of attention to detail and downright poor execution. Management and corporate are unresponsive which is another big red flag. Restaurants in this area, particularly chains, seem to have a hard time attracting, hiring or retaining good managers and employees. Nobody from the corporate HQ down to the people making your food seem to care and that always leads me to feeling like it's just a waste of money and time or just a ripoff. The inconsistency has always been an issue with Chipotle in general, when you order the same exact thing for a large majority of orders and get something different nearly every time that's kind of an annoyance and a head-scratcher but when every order starts to be under-portioned and things are missing and you let people know and nothing seems to change or nobody seems to care you start to question your takeout dining decisions. While the pictures from the website or from corporate depict overflowing amounts of the delicious food they prepare the actual reality seems to be that you're getting a fraction of that at a premium price. Maybe other locations might prove differently but this one is truly one to avoid. Had a dinner party for 15 where we planned on Chipotle catering. When we went to pick it up half an hour before the party, it wasn't ready. 15 minutes later they finally informed us that they had no idea when it was to be ready. They made the excuse that things happened earlier in the day. ONE YEAR LATER... Seems like possibly this location has gotten worse, which seems unbelievable, but facts are facts. Once again I ordered a simple bowl in the app, requested a pickup time AN HOUR in the future, showed up 20 minutes after the "promised" time and STILL waited for my order. At least I had company; I counted 8 others waiting quite impatiently while the sole burrito-maker ran back and forth trying to serve the enormous line wrapped around the restaurant and simultaneously run the cash register. The pickup shelves? Completely DEVOID of orders. Instead, all the bags were piled behind the counter and I guess they expected you to attempt to catch someone's eye and ask, which is eventually what we all resorted to. Not only is this location frequently out of all the favorites (chips, chicken, even Mexican coke) but the service is slow and often gets the simplest orders wrong. Even when ordering online this chipotle let me down. Please see the pictures below for a prime example of my last (and I do mean LAST) experience at this "restaurant." The order was chicken and rice bowl TWO INGREDIENTS. No Wrong rice and it looks like the scrapings off the bottom of the chicken tray. Not worth over $10 heck it's not worth $1. Okay so normally I wouldn't expect too much from a chain like chipotle--we wanted something quick and easy so we came in around 5 on a Thursday. Usually Chipotle is a hit or miss.. I've have numerous meh experiences but this one was definitely a HIT! It started off kinda rocky when they ran out of rice and said it'd be a thirty minute wait until the next batch is ready. Luckily, we weren't in too much of a rush or too hungry so we hung around the area and circled back. They only had brown rice so we just went with it. We got two bowls and asked for extra rice. When we got to the protein, the lady--bless this woman's soul--gave us both a heaping amount of meat. I got half steak and half barbacoa and got two massive scoops of each. I was afraid my boyfriend wouldn't have any barbacoa left but we also had his bowl packed in with protein. The serving line was so generous with every topping and has me reconsider my thoughts on Chipotle. Maybe it was my lucky day but I had enough to satisfy myself for dinner as well as a great portion for my lunch the next day. This may be a once-in-a-lifetime experience but I'm willing to come back now...as long as the same workers are serving lol read more

Between the lack of customer service w employees who seem to want to be anywhere else, and the constant absence of menu items i'd rather take my business anywhere else. It's lunch rush, and you're going to be completely out of white rice. I asked nicely if i could wait for more to be made and brought out- the response was "we're not making it any time soon." At the register, i asked for a side of chips and queso along with two drink cups to accompany my bowl. My son was working nearby and was hungry and asked if we could pick up a burrito since we were in the area. Yelp shows the location is closed, but it's not. Perhaps that's a "holdover" from early COVID days where places closed temporarily. When I got out of the car, I was treated to the most amazing smell I've had in a long time. I could taste the flavor of the food on the air as it past by. It made me hungry, but we had other plans and couldn't get food for ourselves. Inside, the tables were clean, and the restaurant looked well maintained. The line was quite long, but it moved quickly, and we had our order within 10 minutes. Right before we got served, a worker announced they were out of lettuce, guacamole and hot sauce. That didn't matter to use because my son doesn't get those, but the person behind us complained and asked why are they always running out of lettuce. He said they need to order more. Once we placed our order, it was made quickly and correctly and was hot and fresh. Some reviews for this location say service is slow, but even with the long line, the wait wasn't long. I know one thing that can make some restaurants seem slow is the large amount of app orders that get placed. Not only are they making food for everyone in the restaurant, they're also making orders for dozens of "invisible" people, who have placed their order with the app. I would have rated our experience 4 or 5, but because it seems they have an issue with food control, I'm giving it a 3. Ordered a delivery order through the app on 2/22/24. Got everything I ordered, the portion was fantastic. Flavor was also excellent and it was prepared at prime lunch time. Chipotle has been getting a lot of hate lately but my order was almost perfect, my guac spilled in the bag. Oh well, still good and I'll definitely order again if it stays like this. At the start of dinner rush there is one unhappy employee working both the food line and cash register, and no he doesn't change his gloves between taking money and handling food. Got a salad. Lettuce had seen better days, chicken was overcooked and chewy, many food containers were almost empty. Asked for salad dressing and employee said they didn't have any. Their sofritas hit the spot! The food is consistently tasty but, be warned, you will need to squeegee out your burrito or prepare to be covered in dripping hot sauce/salsa/spices. I can't believe I would give Chipotle anything less in the past than a 5 star review. I'd do 7 stars if I can. I can't say I'm very ambitious with my orders. I grab the same thing each time. A chicken burrito with brown rice, pinto beans, chicken, sour cream and guacamole. Why change when you get the best thing? I actually like the seating arrangement of this place. It's different bet feels like there are far more places to sit. My only complaint is the access point. It's kind of a pain to get in and out but for a great burrito, I'd drive over the grass.
