Just got back from this place, there wasn't a whole lot of people in the place but the line was moving a little slow

The service at this Chipotle has been going downhill! I went in at 5pm to beat the rush on a Monday evening. Thankfully there was no line. I started ordering a kids quesadilla - the woman taking my order had begun to scoop the rice and beans into the tray. When I asked for corn tortillas, she informed me that they no longer carry corn tortillas. So I asked if I could change to a burrito bowl instead (my daughter can't have flour tortillas). She had an attitude, rolled her eyes, and threw the tray into the garbage! I proceeded to order my salad with steak. I asked for the vinaigrette dressing at the cashier. A person down the line got the dressing. However, when I got home, there was no dressing in my bag! It's not like there was a lot of people there! I was the first in line and there was only one person behind me. Wth?! I can't go to this establishment. I've had way too many issues with the service here. hee hee they just had their "grande opening" which i thought was fairly clever. fact is, I've been going to this chain whenever I visit my parents in LA and I was like their commitment to healthily-raised poultry and meats and their no-nonsense menu. I have always been a fan if Chipotle, there use to be one on the other end of the east bay. So when the news came out about them coming to PInole i was interested in trying it out. I went there last week on Friday with some co-workers and it was very good. Chipotle is a chain, so you cannot expect much from them. The food is fresh. The choices are simple. And if you ask, they will add/or decrease their portion size for you. Also you can mix match meats, beans, or sides. Chips are always fresh and have just the right amount of salt on them that you can eat them all alone. I really like the bowl because it is so much that 2 can eat on it.The down side is that the guacamole is like an addition $1.75! That is just highway robbery! If you are looking for a new eatery i would suggest you check it out. Its fresh Mexican inspired food, but not authentic. Price is reasonable as well, if you don't get guacamole or a drink! The employees seemed over whelmed by the line to the door which is an everyday occurrence at this location so it shouldn't be as big of deal as they made it out to be . The food portions were very small compared the my previous chipotle experiences which is a major pet peive I have consistency is key . The big thing that upset me the most was the fact that I waited the half n hour to get through the line only to find out they where out of guacamole which is my number one reason to choose chipotle . Service is mediocre. They also seem to rush the service and have cut the portion size. Drinks are pricey, as is the cost of adding guacamole or meat to your food. And you will want more meat, because they won't give you much. read more

I've had a couple of decent experiences here and today was the worst experience so far. We had come in a little after noon and there was a huge line, no biggie, all Chipotles have long lines. There were at least 7-8 people on the line...um, okay, no problem. When I finally got to the front I was greeted with a smile and the girl quickly got all three items I had asked for. As I went down the line, each worker got worse and worse, so I'm assuming all but the first girl and the guy helping at the register were new. None of them really talked either, they just kept their heads down like stray dogs. When I finally did get to the register, another warm smile greeted me and asked me if I wanted anything else. He seemed busy doing something else, so he let the girl working the register finish up. I don't even think she looked at me or said anything, just took the card and handed it back. The portioning was way under par as well, I ate one of my tacos in one bite. Giving two stars because I have been here before and it was pleasant, when there are different people working, and less people as a matter of fact. I'll know now when there's 5 people in one spot not to come in. Train your workers better. read more

I have to say thank you to the night crew on Saturday the 13th at this location. I got nothing but smiles from the start of the line until I left. This is the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. They NEVER open on time. Staff is incompetent and rude. They have no idea how to run an assembly line and they constantly run out of things. Super unprofessional and a waste of time. Not to mention Chipotle has a salmonella outbreak every other week. Every time I've been here has been a long bad experience. I run there for lunch never really had a problem went today the food is cold especially the pinto beans. A food inspector needs to make a surprise visit. You are not suppose to serve cold food. We eat here at least once each week. Service is fast and employees are always friendly. The line can be ridiculously long but it keeps moving. The food is standard chipotle fare. We like it very much. The only complaint i have are the bad acoustics in the restaurant. It's a nice new, clean store but difficult to have conversations due to the extremely noisy environment. read more

We went to the cashier and asked if they can change them and she was upset her answer was "we make them every morning!" This place never fails me! I love their burrito bowls I always get the chicken bowel because their steak is a little on the rare side and I like my cow dead lol. This place is always clean and the service is always so fast to help you. There's a guy always there he has braces he's always smiling and happy. It makes it a great environment to get a quick meal. Food is always good, but the staff can sometimes be difficult. Whether it's getting our phone order wrong, or telling us it will be ready a certain time and it's not, or ordering one thing over the phone and if they are out of something, they just substitute something else in rather than asking (cilantro rice instead of plain for someone who HATES cilantro, white rice instead of brown etc). This place has really gone down hill since they first opened. When they first opened the service was super quick and friendly. Well I came here last night 6/14/2017 around 8:00 pm to grab some dinner and the line wasn't too long as it usually is so I didn't think it would take 30-45 minutes to finally get my chicken bowl. The service was SUPER SLOW and you can tell the employees don't communicate with each other very well. They ran out of steak which didn't bother me but really bothered the gentleman in front of me. Usually you would think that when a restaurant is running out of things like lettuce and sour cream you would go in the back to refill it especially since those are 2 main ingredients that people get. Well I guess not because instead of the employees refilling all the ingredients they kept having to run back and fourth from the kitchen to the front. Oh and when they were refilling the sour cream the girl was holding the sour cream spoon over the corn so all the sour cream from the spoon was dripping in to the corn!!! My fiance asked for guacamole and chips and the guy filled the guacamole cup so much that it wouldn't even close and the guacamole was all over and messy. REALLY? you guys couldn't have wiped it with a napkin?! Or maybe put it in smaller bag so it wouldn't get everywhere in our main bag with our food? I don't know if it was just the night crew that was slow and inattentive but I really hope their service improves. Not to mention all the young kids working the restaurant and were just talking among themselves instead of engaging with customers. I was a Chipotle virgin, so cannot compare this location to others. I had heard from friends that the food tastes fresh and is pretty good value for money. That is not what I experienced here. I went in with my toddler and braved the long line at lunch hour to order a steak burrito (don't judge, I'm pregnant and I wanted steak!) and a kid's quesadilla with steak per my son's request. My son was bitterly disappointed by his food and was still very hungry afterward - and he is only 2 so it is not enough to constitute a real "kid's meal." The quesadilla was literally nothing more than a small tortilla with about three cubes of steak in it and a sprinkle of cheese (not exaggerating). It also wasn't very tasty. The quesadilla also seemed like it was heated in aluminum foil, so it was very greasy, it stuck to the foil and I had to rip the food apart to get it out, plus I kept picking flecks of foil out of his mouth. It would have been smarter to grill the quesadilla and then wrap it in foil. I tried to give him some of my food to compensate, but my meal wasn't much better. I asked for almost everything inside the burrito. What I ended up with was a sour cream and rice wrap. It was pretty gross to be honest. The little bit of steak inside was too chewy and tasted like it was boiled, not grilled, which tastes odd. The little bit of salsa - which was actually pretty good - did not redeem the rest of the burrito. Bottom line, I paid about $10 for the two of us and had to go home to fix another meal. I have to say this is a very good place when it is not overly crowded and not so demanding customers are in line in front of you. The reason for 4 stars is when it is crowded I call it skimpotle. I am pretty basic I always get the chicken bowl, brown rice, black beans, every topping except guacamole and chips get a nice dinner or lunch for about 8 bucks unless you get soda, chips, and guacamole then maybe 10+ but for fast food this has become my favorite place. Chipotle has an excellent salad bowl! Whenever I eat there its always fresh and tasty. I like the fact that you can add whatever veggies and type of beans in your salad bowl. If you feel like a burrito but are watching your waist line I would highly recommend their salad bowls! Its like eating a burrito minus the tortilla! read more

Service is always lousy but is convenient so we put up with it. No more. When this location opened it was bomb. Now? WHACK. WHACK. WHACK. they're ALWAYS OUT OF GUAC. AAAALLLLWWWWAAAAYYYSSSS. I've came different times in the past months and I kid you not 90% of the time they're out of guac. Like I don't understand their system of dealing with food when they run out I would think that they see it getting low so they'd make more. And really? More than 20mins to make? What type of guac are they making that it takes you over 20 mins? And then they don't tell you so you don't waste your damn time in line. Horrible. Everything about it. Employees look like they don't know what they're doing and then they actually don't know what they're doing. Food runs out and no one refills it unless asked and then forced to wait, I got a half of an avocado in my guacamole and it was as hard as a rock, so this makes me really question to quality of food used. Food is ok, Customer service SUCKS!! I been here a couple times but this will be my last time. Walked in no line but it looks like they were filling orders, which I have no problem with. The issue is having me stand there without communicating (i.e....we will be with you sir, we are filling online orders, we apologize for the wait...) Not to mention there is one particular server ("nose earring") who has no type of customer service. If you have ask for a "little extra" the server goes ballistic like if it's coming from her pocket. No smile--looks like she hates her job. Keep in mind that Chipotle is probably one of the highest pay for most fast food outlets. The saddest part of all the ratings on yelp truly shows what this Chipotle lacks in, but I still went in...even worst one would wonder how come management hasn't even address it.
