I will agree with others in saying this is one of the worst Chipotles I have been to. I went in at 9pm (they close at 10), and ordered soft tacos. The portion of chicken was light, but whatever. When I got to the toppings, the cheese, lettuce, and guac was gone. I politely asked if they had more cheese and lettuce, and the employee simply said "No". No apologies or anything. I went to pay and asked for a discount since they were out of basic ingredients, and the other employee said "No". No apologies. The point of eating fast food at a chain is to have a consistent experience, and know they will have the food they offer in the menu. She could have at least told me they were out of ingredients before I ordered. Never going back to this....or probably any other Chipotle. I'm done with the inconsistency. read more

This place will give you the smallest amount of guacamole, they will scoop it up and bang the spoon till it all falls off. The guac is level with the spoon edges like a scoop of liquid. Quite possibly the worst chipotle we've ever been to. The lobby smelled STRONGLY of bleach. The line was out the door the entire time we were there. Once we finally got up to the front to order my husband ordered a chicken burrito. The lady said "we are out of tortillas" and just straight up walked away. She was gone for quite a while. In the meantime, the 2nd and 3rd ladies in the line of workers, finished my order while my husband just stood there. I went mid-afternoon, so shouldn't be a rush. I arrived exactly when the app said my food would be ready -- it's fine that it wasn't yet, but the ticket hadn't even been printed to get in the queue. And rather than just getting it going and moving on, the cashier took the time to argue that I didn't say my name correctly, I should have pronounced it Stefan...I get that "ph" making a "v" sound is weird, but I have a fairly common name. I eat lunch at Chipotle at least 3 times a week- however I'd suggest avoiding the location in Silverthorne, CO. This location is poorly managed. The location is very dirty- always. The ice machine for fountain drinks has been broken for 2 months- with no signs it will ever be repaired. Finally, the staff is quite rude- a sign of bad culture in the location. Chipotle always has good food options. Service was fast and friendly. However the restaurant was dirty and the tables were not clean even on the patio. There was no ice in the machine for drinks, napkins were pretty empty and sauces (chipotle, jalapeño) were non existent. Told me they were out of rice for the rest of the night at 6pm when they are open until 10pm and they had just finished mixing cilantro in to a new batch of white rice in the kitchen. Said that there were no bags of tortilla chips left and somehow they magically found more after I asked why I saw 60 bags of chips on the shelf behind the kitchen. Yep... there is a reason this location only has two stars overall. There were 3 ladies working the line. The first server was either having a bad day, or she has never been trained in reasonable customer service. She did not read us with a smile, she seemed perturbed by our requests, and was generally. The middle worker was great, although she seemed overworked trying to compensate for the two subpar employees on either side of her. The last worker was OK, but lacked courtesy. read more

Silverthorne, Co. When preparing my burrito she asks white or brown rice. I answer brown, and before I was able to ask for only a small amount, she had dumped a huge amount of rice onto the tortilla. Essentially this is what you get here, a rice burrito. The other ingredients they were very stingy with, even the black beans. Here is what really ticked me: I paid $2.50 for guacamole that someone apparently dumped the whole container of salt into. This had to be an accident, no one would purposely make guacamole this salty. It ruined the burrito. The steak salad was a disaster. Half of every piece of steak (50%) was inedible gristle. The employee that made our burritos was in an extreme hurry for some reason (there was no one behind us in line, they were not very busy, so I don't know why she was in such a huge rush) and she practically threw all the ingredients onto the tortilla so fast, that she didn't let any of the juices drip out of the spoon before she slammed them onto the tortilla, which ended up making our burritos a drippy, soggy, sloppy mess with the tortilla so drenched, it fell apart halfway through eating it. This place was worth a repeat visit if there weren't a ton of other good places to eat in Silverthorne, like Mountain Lyon Cafe and Dillon Dam Brewery for lunch. It reminds me of Moe's Mexican or Subway where you tell them what you want and they make it for you. Unfortunately we had newbies training and they gave tiny scoops of servings, and I was told guacamole wasn't included in my veggie burrito (but it actually was and given to me in a side container). It wasn't as cool as Moe's where they have different types of hot sauces at the hot sauce bar but they did have a tons of bottles of Cholula Hot Sauce, Green Tabasco, Chipotle and regular Tabasco bottles to spice up your meal. read more
