This is actually the nicest Panera Bread in the entire state of Colorado. I don't know if they were trained in isolation but the experience here is way better compared to the others. The pastries are actually baked fresh and you'll get a sandwich that has the proper amount of ingredients. The coffee is always strong and the staff are warm and welcoming which is nice because we are in our happy place, about to ski and spend time in our beautiful mountains. read more

This is a great Panera to stop to get breakfast before hitting the slopes. It's right off the highway. Staff is friendly, place is clean with some nice cushioned seating and a fireplace. Food comes out fast and fresh. It's what you would expect from a Panera. read more

The atmosphere inside of the restaurant and the decorations look new and comfortable. As for the cleanliness, the tables aren't wiped down, and there are napkins and crumbs all over the floor. My biggest complaint is the service, when we tried to order, no one was patient with us, and not helpful at all. We had to repeat our order multiple times, and make corrections because the cashier couldn't understand what we wanted. Furthermore, we weren't asked if we would like a receipt, and after we asked for one, we weren't able to get it. This place is horrible!!! Came in to order this guy is on his airpods talking to someone, he takes our order while still on the phone gives us the wrong receipt! We are waiting for 30 minutes keep in mind we are the only ones in the store so we think this is weird, we go to check our order by the kitchen the guy is walking around humming a song then has the audacity to tell us our order didnt go through!! This place actually deserves 0 stars! Don't eat here! Worst Panera meal I've ever had! Got an order to go. Pick 2, Mac & cheese, chicken Caesar salad. The Mac & cheese was just a cup filled with mushy pasta(?) & sticky cheese. The salad came with a small cup of dressing, it MIGHT have had 1 teaspoon of dressing it in, so I got to eat a dry salad with no flavor. The manager was extremely rude and condescending. I merely brought his attention to a homeless lady sleeping in the dining area. He actually raised his voice telling me "THATS AN EMPLOYEE, SHES SICK!!!"......so Why would a sick employee be laying down in an area where customers are? The food was terrible and nothing like it is normally at other locations. Poor quality and unfamiliar. The overall atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming. Very basic service. Friendly. Good tasting. Went here for breakfast on way to steamboat springs. Was greeted in a timely manner. Already knowing that when the food is ready they call you to pick it up at the counter. However, was not called. I noticed it sitting on counter and then went to retrieve it. Who knows how long it would have sat there. Yes i would have heard them call my name since we were the only two there. My friend ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on sesame bagel and got no bacon. After noticing it he went back to counter and she said they were out of bacon and offered sausage. this is the second time I come to this Panera and it takes them 25+ minutes to get three broccoli cheddar soups out. there was no one else in the store beside us. Awful experience. Went to the drive thru and after sitting and waiting for two minutes I said "hello?" Into the speaker and someone finally and very confusingly took my order. That should have been my first sign to drive away. Out of bread bowls, fine whatever, maybe a second sign to just drive away. I ordered soup and baguette with a tea to go. After sitting and waiting in the drive thru watching them seemingly prepare orders for twenty minutes, avoiding eye contact with me, making me feel invisible, I drove to the front, parked, and went inside to see if they forgot about me. The only thing said to me was they were training new staff. I was simply asking how much longer I should wait around for a simple soup.... After waiting another 10 minutes inside, they start to bring out other orders for people who weren't even at the restaurant yet. Then I ask AGAIN where my ordered is. I was met with deer in headlight glances and I don't knows. They try to give me someone else's order. I state clearly multiple time my name, what I had ordered, and how long I had been waiting. Turns out they had made my order already, probably soon after I got there, and it was sitting in a bag behind everyone working. So I waited 30 minutes to be pissed off, lose my appetite, and now am late getting on the road for my 3 hour drive home. Awful experience. I understand needing to train employees, but come on. This was PAINFUL. Someone working this restaurant needs to have an ounce of customer service at least. They clearly need better communication. Awful awful awful. read more

We waited at the window for over 30 minutes for our food. There was barely anyone inside and no one else in the drive-thru so they weren't slammed. The guy was incredibly slow - did not care at all how long we had been waiting. He also handed us multiple wrong items and we had to correct him. Not a quick experience! read more

*Large* catering order incorrect and late, one part missing that I specifically called and asked to be included in the order, then told it was included when in fact it was not. I had to be in contact with the manager every week from 3 weeks before our conference event to make sure it was even happening, and still it was incorrect and poorly handled. Went in for late lunch. Had to try to find some help - nobody at the front counter. Ready to order. They were out of 2 choices of soup - told it would take 1/2 hour to make the soups, so we opted for a 3rd choice. When order was ready, soup bowls were filled only 1/2 to 2/3 of capacity. Tables were dirty, and we were the only patrons in the store. This was not our first time at this Panera, but will be our last! Very expensive, and the value is not there. read more

The food was good, and the service has improved quite a bit. Staff was friendly and helpful on this visit and our food was prepared quickly. Our last visit did not go well, but we wanted to try it again and things have improved. The ordering system is pretty onerous but we continue to try and figure it out, but its slow going. We will probably just start ordering at the register. The prices seem very high for what you get. We had a bbq chicken sandwich, one small drink, and one salad and it was right at $30. Seems high when compared to other sandwich places we frequent. The venue is very nice and the views from the patio are fantastic. Glad to see things have improved at this location as we like the food. read more
