Great place to relax and enjoy Pacifica. Hot /cold coffees, lattes, sandwiches, soup, treats, bagels. Foggy weather, crashing ocean waves, access to beach. This coffee shop is great, friendly people, WiFi, several tables, chairs, reading 'nook' bench. Big windows. Live music on many weekends! Stop by and enjoy,...start your day right. Hint: there is another Chit-Chat at the pier - a couple miles south.

Nice day. Nice coast. Nice coffee! Chit Chat Pacifica on Manor Drive is always a win! Large picture window LA to enjoy the coastal view from the inside.bench and tables to enjoy the view from the outside. Steps away from the coastal bluffs directly across the street! Coffee and food here is good. Beer and wine available too. Music on the weekends for a chill vibe. Great people working here for excellent service. CLEAN BATHROOM! Free Internet. Easy free parking. Chit Chat Cafe Pacifica is a WIN!

I swear I've written a review for Chit Chat Cafe in the past. While it isn't artisan coffee, it gets the job done with a view of the ocean across the street. There are some drawbacks like the wobbly tables that never seem to be fixed, excessive dust accumulation above the bench seating, and sometimes the barista playing music too loud. However, now that I've gotten the negative out of the way, let me illuminate the positivity that this place has brought into my life ever since I first came here when I was 9 years old. The Chit Chat Cafe has been a staple for my artistic expression. A home base for my writing and drawing hobbies and a lovely stop off for weekend tunes or to people watch. It seems like there's always at least one person in there reading the newspaper while sipping coffee, or working on their laptop with their headphones on. The baristas have always been friendly, especially Tyler! Such a cool dude w/ charming charismatic energy! I have completed two stamp cards in the past 2 years at this location and the one on the pier. I remember coming here in the storm one day, in 2015, when I was on my bike, locking my bike outside and having hot cocoa & a glass of water, with the wind & rain pounding against the glass. It was such a magical experience, that I decided this would be in my all-time top three cafes in Pacifica. Thank you for staying in business as long as I can remember & providing an authentic Cafe experience in Pacifica! You rock, Chit Chat Cafe! (Gaah I need to take pictures when I write these reviews. Will update upon next visit!)

I really enjoy spending time here. The owners are super kind and chill. They play awesome music. The place is filled with Patina and I love that. The vibe is giving 90's coastal chill. There's something really special here so don't expect Starbucks vibes or rules. The mocha is delicious, the earl grey tea was great! I'll definitely be back because nothing beats working with a view of the ocean. They have good options that I have yet to try but something always smells good while I'm here.

Cafe Mocha and a ham and cheese croissant with tomato. And table service. Noice!

The new ownership continues to raise the game. (See new picture). Nice new food options, upgrades to the interior, and now I got table service. Barrista Tyler was killin' it.

What a cute spot! Stoped here this afternoon and it was great! Great service, such an amazing white mocha we had to get a second one! We also shared a burger and a hot dog! Basic but so good. You go in and order then go give the guy outside bbq'n your ticket! Couple minutes and they call your name! They only gave this cute counter seating! Loved it !super rustic vice as it's located at the beginning of the pier!! Best part was the service and fun vibes inside

Such a cute place to hang out! nice and quiet, with a great view of the ocean from the windows. I've come here both alone and with a friend, and each time I've had an amazing experience. You can really tell the locals love it here. The food was excellent. The sandwich I ordered was on focaccia bread with jalapeños and cheese, and it was super flavorful and delicious. The staff were also extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome, especially on my first visit. I will say the prices are a bit on the higher side, which makes it harder for me as a student to come here often. However, if you're looking for a place to relax with an amazing view, it's definitely worth it. The study potential here is great, there's a good amount of outlets along the outer rim of the building near the walls, very comfortable seating, and reliable Wi-Fi. Overall, I've had a great experience all three times I've visited!

Chit-Chat Cafe is located next to Sharp Park Beach in Pacifica. I decided to stop by for a quick snack. Fairly short review incoming. I got myself the lox bagel sandwich ($10.50). I decided to run with the everything bagel. There was nothing to complain about the bagel sandwich. The bagel was a bit stale, but the lox was great and the lettuce quality was fresh. I'm docking a star off for the pricing being off. The lox bagel is listed on the menu as $9.25, but I paid $10.50 for it. It was a shame because I had exact change in cash for two items, but had to drop one of those items because of the pricing inaccuracy. The line situation may be a little cramped for some since the entrance is so close to the register. Some seating available. They also sell merch and postcards here.

If you're looking for a cute, cozy spot to work that's got an ocean view (or dense fog depending on the time of day, lol), look no further. Lovely service, weekend live music, poetry and other programming, and last but not least-- good coffee. There's a yoga spot right next door, so depending on the time of day there might be a rush, but otherwise, def a great place if you're in the Pacifica area and want to switch things up from Soul Grind.

Chit-Chat cafe has a real neighborhood vibe that sort of mimics the laid back vibe of Pacifica, where you don't mind wearing a jacket every summer because the fog and wind reminds you that you are next to the Pacific Ocean. In fact, this casual cafe is right next to the ocean...you can walk across the street and be on a sand dune cliff above the rip tides. It has that funky old hippy-ish decor and feel, and some of the frequent occupants may have lived through the famous Summer of Love centered in SF in the 1960's. The friendly new owners, Ginger and Hubs, bought this business in late 2023 and it's other location too, also called Chit Chat ( except no hyphen in the Yelp listing) also located nearby in Pacifica. I met a client here and we talked and hung out for over an hour and a half. I ordered a latte, and also got a Turkey sammich which was delicious. They toasted the bread for me. I met Ginger, and overheard that she got tix to see George Clinton's Funkadelic and Parliament, which are not Scott McKenzie singing " San Francisco" in a 60's hippie folk ballad, but OG funk bands with heavy base, beats and Synths from the '70s you'd probably see at the Oakland Coliseum. Either way, it shows the OG vibe here, a bit frozen in time like the cold wind starts to freeze you outside if you're not used to it. It's not completely social security types, however. There were a couple of 30s Asians nearby talking business, and a couple of solos minding their own interests or laptops. Several tables and chairs to chillax and to do your thing here. Oh, they do have live music still, not sure days and times, but it has been a long tradition here that continues. The new owners may sing at their concert " We like the Funk, gotta have that Funk" but the Chit- Chat Cafe is chill and perfect for quiet Chit Chat near the Pacific Ocean.

I really loved this place!…read more Came for a weekend away and walked by this little gem. It's a super cute little coffee shop that has some adorable vintage decorations. They even have some toys for the kids to play... I love a kid friendly place! We ordered several coffees including a drip, zebra latte, lavender latte and toasted Marshmallow one, a Mexican coffee and even a hot chocolate for the kiddos (sorry I forgot the actual names of the drinks lol). seriously all of them tastes amazing!!!! Great quality coffee!! We even ordered some breakfast sandwiches (those are just decent) but the apple fritter was delicious! Also the prices are extremely fair! The guy behind the register was maybe one of the friendliest workers I talked too that entire weekend in Pacifica. Great kid, super personable! My only complaint is that they don't have a location near my house!!!! This would definitely be my new coffee shot! Definitely grab yourself a cup of coffee when you're in town!!!

It looked like there was just one person handling both the cashier and drink orders, but he managed everything really smoothly. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and honey and when he finished it, he realized he accidentally made it with vanilla syrup instead. Without hesitation, he remade it right away and even offered me the first one for free, which I thought was really kind and showed great customer service. The matcha itself was decent but it wasn't nothing mind blowing but definitely good enough to enjoy and sip on. It had a nice balance and wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. What really stood out more than anything was the service. The guy was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive, which made the experience better overall. If you're looking for a quick matcha fix in a convenient location with solid service, this is a good spot to check out!

If they're busy, they might forget to call your name and you'll need to go get the food yourself, which is frankly impossible to fathom when you come from San Francisco. But Pacifica is different, y'know?   Anyway.  ------------------------------ First, the turkey sandwich. 5/5 I'm guilty of expecting the meat to be the focus on a sandwich, but in this case the turkey was the filler, which, as a carnivore, is there a better meat filler? Bread, dijon, lettuce, turkey, queso. The dijon did for flavor what the lettuce did for texture, throwing in a twang that kept the sandwich interesting. Its creaminess tag-teamed with the cheese to keep the sandwich in one piece. Great sidekicks. The turkey was... Nothing special. Clean but mundane, for the star of the show was the bread.    Some of you might roll your eyes.  No shiet, Sherlock.  THIS. IS.  A bakery.   Cuz some of you might roll your eyes.  It's just bread.    But this isn't wonder-bread. It's dense. It's got a chew.   The sourdough is minimally sour, hearty, with a thick, hard crust, and made matrimony with the turkey. A lil bit of salt, the slightest tang, tango-ing into a single texture. Those of us who've had an egg sando in Japan understand how the softness of the egg salad made the softness of the bread fundamental. The turkey here wasn't slipping anywhere, though it complimented the meatiness of the bread. This, sandwich, needs, teeth.    I hope you weren't expecting to eat turkey without teeth. Perhaps that's tofurkey you're thinking about.   The crust was hard too. A well supported, almost crunchy hardness, and a far cry from the st-ale pork rind that the free bread in Mont-real would remind you of. I ended up turning the sandwich sideway as if I was enjoying a taco.   The best panera you'll get and a supreme sleeper.   ------------------------------ The second sandwich: 4/5 The sesame studded hoagie, on the other hand, was nothing short of Guns N' Roses. This sub had a KISS of intensity from the seared meats, a KISS of spice from the mayo and capocollo, a KISS of sharpness from the provolone, and a single leaf of romaine to give that little crunch and freshness, so you can tell your mom that you ate your veggies. There's going to be a rock concert in your mouth. With each element in a bit to prove their existence, it ended up being too intense for us. With these all being strong flavors, it's amazing that you could still taste everything. And they work well together. It's just that your taste buds will send an SOS, walking out of a Black Sabbath concert feeling a bit drained, like Spongebob breaking down after working the tables at Squidward's five star restaurant. The crustiness of the roll, the studded texture of the sesame, the meat escarpment slipping out, you will have no more desire for thee. Water. Something to cleanse the mouth.   If you're one of those among us who gets sweet emotions eating curry without naan or rice, this could be your bad medicine.   * Keep it simple, stupid.

No comments. Honestly, just really good, no matter what you pick. Just know, they definitely sell out for sure! COFFEE: 8/10 I've tried 2 different crafted lattes from here and thought they were decent! I ordered a standard Iced Vanilla Oatmilk Latte, and it was okay! It was neither the best I've ever had. I do like how I can taste the espresso shot, and the drink wasn't too milky. I also tried their Seaside Shakerato (I think that's what it's called, I forgot) and that was yummy! I loved the salted caramel taste, but the drink was slightly too milky and sweet for me. I would still get it again, haha. SERVICE: 8/10 Service is pretty standard out here and straightforward. From outside vibes to the indoor decorations with all the tea sets and cute little tables and small mirrors and trinkets on the walls. It reminded me of Bridgeton and Victoria time. I could spend an entire afternoon here looking at all the cute tea set. Because we had our puppy with us, we opted for an outdoor seating which was equally as nice! Large white-and-yellow-striped umbrellas gave us some needed shades as it was a sunny day. Our table was covered with cute table cloth and everything looks neat and clean. We were started with teas first, and each of us got to pick our own tea. My sis picked the Lychee Rose Green as I had my eyes on the Dragon well. Our teas came out fast and were quickly followed by the yummy high tea display. Starting from the bottom, we had Cucumber with Dill Cream Cheese Chicken, Apple, Walnut, Cranberry Salad Cream Cheese with Guava Jam, Pastrami with Cabbage Salad. This was followed by a warm Scone with Clotted Cream & Jam; a toasted Crumpet with butter & Lemon Curd; and a selection from their Sweet Tray! Everything was so delicious and paired so well with our selections of teas! The service was attentive as well as they checked on us frequently and refilled our tea pots when needed. Maybe we expected more since we really enjoyed Lovejoy's the last couple times we went there (I believe they share the same owner, but I may be mistaken). While we give the buttery and fragrant scones very high marks, and the salad and the crumpets were ok, the sandwiches and desserts were not great. The bread was dry and the filling was skimpy compared to many other high teas we have tried, and the petit fours were plain and seemed store-bought. The crumpets came after the desserts because they forgot to serve them to us (not a big deal and they were very apologetic). For the price, we expected more than one tiny item from the dessert tray. The teas were all lovely, but they were out of their Pacifica Blue tea which we were specifically looking forward to trying. This is the 12th tea service we have tried in the past couple years, and we find that we prefer teas that include an assortment of more deluxe dessert items (like SIP or Rotunda in SF), and sandwiches that are made with a variety of breads such as rolls or mini croissants along with the traditional sliced bread, and with more generous filling.
