This chicken rotisserie shop has extremely flavorful and tender chicken. The meat falls off the bone and you can taste the flavor of the spices throughout. I bought the family meal of one chicken, two large sides, and 4 pieced of corn bread to go. I had enough for dinner for two and lunch for two the next day. The sweet potatoe is my favorite side dish. The variety of side dishes is great and they all tend to be on the healthy side. Make sure you try the dipping and dressing sauces! Tastes like chicken.... because it is! Hands down, this place makes the most delicious rotisserie chicken. The chicken slow cooks for 2 hours so that the fat drips off, but it still holds the juicy natural flavor and the meat becomes so tender that it falls right off the bone. Guilt free and yummy. The women who run the restaurant are all very sweet and accommodating. The place itself isn't much to look at, and that's why I would suggest to get the food to go. For a "healthy" place, this place makes it seem like you're cheating but it's definitely the perfect place to get your clean protein and carbs if you're on some body building or fat loss/muscle gain diet. I'm currently a member of The Camp Transformation Center so our (FTDI) meal plan requires us to count macros to have energy to do boot camp. I actually hit this place up even when I'm not on a diet because it's that good. The chicken is roasted in an oven with a very light dry rub seasoning. Somehow all the juices get stuck in the chicken so when you eat it, it's soooo moist! I usually get some of their chicken breast with sweet potato, brown rice, and/or steamed veggies. This place was alright. I wasn't crazy about it but I would probably go back. I got the family meal with a whole chicken, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and corn muffins. The chicken was great, juicy and tasty, but I did think it was a little fatty for me. The corn bread was awesome and so was the corn, but how could you go wrong with that? I looooove mashed potatoes and gravy but theirs was really weird. The potatoes were red with the skin on, fine, but super lumpy and the gravy tasted super weird. Not my cup of tea. This place has GREAT chicken rice bowls and wraps. It is a great place to go if you want to eat healthy and it is WAY better than the chain restaurants that sell rice bowls. The chicken is all white meat and it is tender and delicious. They have great sauces and let you use as much as you want. The sides are all good too. I have even ordered wraps from here to cater a small party at my house and they were a hit. The owners are really nice ladies and they keep the place spotless. I've eaten here at least once a week for the last four months. Everyone is very nice. I always get the Paleo Bowl, no sauce. I love it! I call in my order ahead of time and they always tell me it will be ready in 20 minutes but it seems like it's ready faster than that. The Paleo Bowl is filling and I feel good after. I was looking for a place to get something cheap and vegetarian, and found Chixy on Yelp. I ordered the veggie wrap, and my boyfriend got the chicken wrap (he doesn't like chicken on the bone, so that's really all there was for him). We also ordered the sweet baked potato to share. We got it for takeout, and the staff was very friendly. There was a younger girl training, and another woman helping her out. I wasn't crazy about my vegetable wrap...too many beans and I just wasn't crazy about the spice flavors. My boyfriend didn't like his wrap much either, and both of us only ate half. The wraps were very large, but filled mostly with beans. We thought we ordered sweet potato FRIES, but they were just mini sweet potatoes baked in foil. They were good, but not what we were expecting. They did have a stamper card, but I doubt I will be back. I'm sure their rotisserie chicken is probably good, but I'm not a meat eater and my boyfriend hates bone-in chicken, so this was not for us. Too bad! read more

Afterwards she disappeared and another girl brought us the Chicken Wrap which I ordered and was planning on splitting together with my friend. My friend didn't even finish her half. To be honest, there was nothing even remotely special about this wrap. It was filled with only regular lettuce, some ok dressing, a couple of tomato pieces here and there and sprinkled with chicken. Usually healthy food can be... bland... but this was not! I was really happy with our whole chicken meal with cornbread, sweet potatoes, and veggies. The chicken was very moist and flavorful. The skin somehow had rendered down to just the outer crispy part without all the fat that's usually in between the skin and meat. The sweet potatoes were also roasted over their flames (you can see it from the window!) and they were great! The veggies were just broccoli and carrots, steamed, nothing that special, but I was cool with it. You also get to pick some sauces to go with your meal. I was happy with the honey mustard and the garlicky one. My friend is on a no-salt diet and was able to get the paleo bowl. It was just steamed veggies and chicken breast meat. It worked out great for him and he said it tasted good too! The servers were very friendly and offered suggestions for us first timers. We wouldn't have gotten the sweet potatoes otherwise.
