WORST customer service ever. If you want to be treated poorly and be disappointed, then go there. The lady at the front register was so rude, didn't explain anything correctly, didn't take our order correctly and it took so long. They were not busy, and we had to wait a while for 3 pancakes. The pancakes were nasty. Full of little black things on it and completely raw. The pistachio bar was very underwhelming. SO small for $14 and such a a small filling compared to what it's showing on the website. This place is very messy and dirty-- management should care more about it as well as training their staff better. The people were touching their hair while making the food without washing their hands first. Not to mention that they didn't greet us when we first came in nor say bye when we left. I was surprised when The Coffee Bean closed very suddenly and this Chocolate Bash location opened up in its place soon after. There weren't any grand opening signs or balloons, so I was surprised to see that it was open for business. I stopped in late one evening and ordered a lotus crepe, which was made with crumbled Biscoff cookies and spread. The total came out to just under $11. The crepe was very rich and sweet but still enjoyable. I do think the price point is a few dollars higher than it should be. Chocolate Bash is kind of like a build-your-own dessert place. You pick a base of either a crepe, waffle, pancake or mini pancake for $4.99, then choose between lotus Biscoff cookies, Nutella and Belgium chocolate spread for an extra charge of $2.99. It's an additional charge if you want to add crumbled cookies, ice cream, etc. Very good, but I would come back more regularly if they lowered the prices a tad. There is street parking, a small lot across the street with meters, or you can park in the Westside Pavilion for free. read more

Once I get to chocolate Bach I feel like being a kid again and brings me a lot of memories with all my childhood chocolate. In a word: horrible. The food here is atrocious. We had a chocolate covered strawberry--tasted as though the strawberry had been frozen and the chocolate was old and flavorless. It actually tasted bland and chalky. My daughter ordered a crepe with Nutella, and I ordered a crepe with lemon/sugar. First, the crepe was thick and like a pancake. Crepes are supposed to be thin and light; these were anything but. They were thick and spongey and Elena's was drowning in Nutella--literally had a thick layer of Nutella overflowing over the crepe. My daughter had 3 or 4 bites and then was too disgusted to finish. My crepe was also thick--reminiscent of a pancake, and not that great. My son had a lava cake--first of all it wasn't even warm. Lava cake is supposed to be hot so that the chocolate inside is melting and oozing "like lava". The chocolate was dark chocolate, but again, the dark chocolate tasted old and cheap. Normally, I prefer dark chocolate , but there was nothing to recommend it here. And worse still, the dessert cost is $37 (before the tip). Skip this place; it s not worth the money. read more
