omg I loved the dubai strawberry cup and I didn't expect to love it so much!! there were so many strawberries in the cup and I love that they import their chocolate from belgium so it's not too sweet. and the pistachio crème is from italy! service was super fast and the owner was so nice! the interior is also super cute and there's seating for eating inside

What to Get/Not to Get: I'd recommend the Banana Waffle with Belgian Milk Chocolate on the side instead of on top of the waffle. Maybe I'd recommend the Lava Cake with a scoop of Strawberry Ice Cream; I say "maybe" because I don't think it's the best Lava Cake in the world. Not sure I'd recommend the Peanut Butter Bite or Dubai Brownie unless you're really curious Customer Service: Very good, although I wish they'd open their bathroom for paying customers Price: Approximately $35.49, not including tip for 4 people Ambience: Indoor Seating Overall: Good Experience. Make sure to download the app for loyalty points if you intend to come here often. If you pay more than $30, you can get a complimentary card scratcher that will win you a prize

I took my youngest kid here because he is the only one who loves chocolate more than I do (perhaps)... We didn't know much about this place. Walking in, I was surprised seeing how busy this place was, being that the establishment has maybe 4-5 small tables inside (although there is also seating available outside). My son swears by the FERRERO ROCHER MILKSHAKE...and for me: the Peanut Butter Bites. Soooo gooood! As a person who loves chocolate, this chocolate is darn good! The only cons I see are the prices (a regular-sized kinder bar is $3.99...ouch!) and the time it takes to get the order. But it's worth it. Enjoy!

If you're a chocolate lover, then this place is for you! I've been to Chocolate Bash a few times, but this was my husband's first visit. Located next to Little Caesars on Newport Ave in Tustin, the shop is a bit small but absolutely charming--its cute decor immediately caught my eye. The service was quick and the staff was incredibly kind, which made the experience even better. We ordered the Chocolate Dubai Strawberry Crepes, and wow, they were massive! One could easily be shared between two people, but I forgot how big they were since it's been a while since my last visit. If you're into indulgent treats, this place is definitely worth checking out! They also offer a "Build Your Own" option, along with several delicious preset combinations. Whenever we get a chocolate craving, we'll definitely be coming back!

The service was excellent. The cashier was friendly and patient. There were two women behind doing everything. Good professionalism. I got two things. The 6 chocolate covered strawberries which cost $13.99. The strawberries were so juicy, and the chocolate was rich, which was a good combination. I also got the 12oz Dubai strawberry cup. It cost $14.99. I highly recommend eating it right away, or else the chocolate is going to get hard as a rock. Other than that. It was so good. It tastes like the chocolate bar. I'll come again!

Ugh my go to for Dubai chocolate strawberries. I literally only go here for that they're so good. The service is pretty quick here too especially given they dip the strawberries right in front of you. Few tables in there I think maybe 2-3 so I usually just pick up and then eat at home.

Inside is a little dingy. Only two workers. It's a bit pricy for what it is but good to get your chocolate fix. Theres not much seating so I wouldn't say this is the best ambiance location. The 4oz strawberry cup is small but it has enough of an amount to satisfy your craving. Their strawberries aren't sour and tasteless but also not super fragrant. They're okay and pairs well with the chocolate which is semi sweet- milk. I like how it hardens after a bit and overall the flavors match well. I know dubai chocolate may seem overhyped, but its worth a try, i might suggest getting rhe chocolate bar over the strawberries if you just wanted to try dubai chocolate (it is 9.99 for a small bar vs 5.99). But its definitely matching with the strawberries. Overall, on the pricier side but matches a specific craving.

Definitely recommend this place the whole family loves it the staff is so friendly !!!

Went in for a late night craving! The people working here are very friendly and quick on getting orders out. They appeared to be working on quite some orders and as soon as they were done with one they would work on another. This place is clean and definitely lives up to being chocolate all over. Absolutely loved our Dubai chocolate covered strawberries. So yummy!

Stopped in after dinner for a sweet treat. We ordered the Nutella crêpe with brownie bites with strawberry ice cream. Let me just say, this was made to order and tasted great with the crêpe & brownie bits still warm and the cold ice cream on top was amazing in my mouth. They carried a nice selection of desserts here as prior reviews mentioned. Staff here were friendly and welcoming. I would come back when I'm in this area of Tustin as this location stays open later than the other dessert places around there. There are plenty of parking spots here too. read more

Came here craving something sweet, of course! I ordered the Krispy Ice-Cream Cup with chocolate drizzle, whipped cream, and strawberries (which were extra!!!). My friends went for the Brownie Ice-Cream Cup and the Cookie Butter Milkshake. Our ice cream cups came out in about 10 minutes (the girls were working hard!), and the milkshake followed shortly after, maybe another 10 minutes or so. One thing I learned the hard way--don't wait too long to eat! I was trying to be polite and hold off until my friends were served, but by the time I dug in, my chocolate drizzle had turned into solid rock. My plastic spoon didn't stand a chance. I ended up eating the whipped cream first while chipping away at the chocolate, but it never softened--it was just solid chunks the whole time. Maybe it was actually melted chocolate instead of drizzle? Not sure. That said, the Rice Krispies inside were yum--super crunchy and delicious! I also tried a bit of the milkshake--good, but nothing mind-blowing. The brownie cup was very rich and super chocolatey. A heads-up: seating is limited inside, so if you're looking for a comfy spot to hang out and chat, your best bet is your car or an outdoor area nearby. Overall, I came for dessert and left satisfied. Would I come back? Probably--but next time, I'm eating my ice cream asap. read more

This review is just for their Dubai chocolate bar. It's a smaller size and it's $10. It had a soapy flavor, almost detergent aftertaste. We thought something was wrong and they were generous to replace it. However bar #2 has that same soapy/ lotion taste that lingers well after eating it. It almost numbs the tongue. Maybe it's a spice they are adding but cannot recommend this overly floral and soapy chocolate. read more

Chocolate Bash satisfies that melted chocolate on everything craving that you get. I was a bit confused by the menu since it doesn't explain what the item is. For example, the Bash Roll that I ordered did not list out what is inside. I had to ask the worker what is inside almost every item. You can build your own dessert, but you get a better deal if you order from one of their listed menu items. We got the Bash Roll ($13.99) and chose strawberries and bananas for the fruit that goes inside the crepe. We also got to choose the type of chocolate melted on top and we went with dark chocolate. The Bash Roll was huge! There were plenty of fresh cut strawberries and bananas inside the roll that made the roll ginormous. It was definitely enough to share between 2-3 people. The dark chocolate was delicious! I wish that they drizzled more chocolate into the dish because there weren't enough chocolate to dip the fruits in. This is a very small shop with a few tables inside. We got lucky with a table that opened up after we ordered. I definitely recommend this place the next time you want a decadent dessert! read more

Great place to fulfill sweet crave at night! It opens till midnight! You won't find anything like this. Staff was friendly and helpful when I was trying to digest the menu. I chose the Crepe - Belgian Chocolate - Fruits and the taste turned out great, sweet & fruity sour. The packaging also very catchy and fancy to my opinion. I just found heaven in this world , you walk in and the smell of the chocolate just makes you mouth all watery, then you look at the menu your head spin you want it all, the young lady that took my Oder was very helpful she recommended the most sold and her fav I got it and she was right it's absolutely delicious the chocolate is so rich and full of flavor, the place is super cozy and cute with tables to enjoy ur warm melted chocolate, great service tasty chocolate what else we can ask for. I was so excited to try the dubai chocolate strawberry cup but it was meh. Maybe it was already premade because we got our order right after we finished ordering. The chocolate was mostly at the bottom of the cup and was already hardened and which made it hard to scoop into. It would've been better if the chocolate drizzle was more melty and liquidy. The strawberry was very sweet tho. And the knafeh was a good add. It was good to try for my first time but I wouldn't spend $18 on this tiny cup again. read more

We stopped here for some crepes and they were pretty good but not the best that I've tried. I noticed they only put the Nutella at the top of the crepe and none on the inside so that made it a little dry IMO. The service was friendly and attentive though and they have a lot of options so I think I will be coming back to try more from their menu! read more

While I trust that they make chocolates daily, I have to question how much, what flavors, and what is being turned over, because the sample I ate and the chocolates I opened up later certainly had obvious chocolate bloom, and yes they were stored at an appropriate temperature and eaten on the same day. At the price these pieces were, they certainly shouldn't have chocolate bloom nor taste like old chocolate. The filling of their Dubai bar was nice, crunchy, and moist, but the exterior chocolate shell didn't really have a taste. I am fine with paying a premium for premium-tasting chocolate and often do it, but I would have preferred eating grocery store chocolate, honestly. I'm not sure what others are tasting or whether people reviewing TAWDI are actually into chocolate, but I was disappointed when I didn't enjoy these.

They were handing out samples of their hazelnut chocolate bars, and after one bite, I knew I had to step inside to look around and try some more. Such luxuriously rich and smooth chocolate morsels that melt so exquisitely in your mouth (where you can taste and smell the layers of quality ingredients contained in each piece). Really took me back to my last trip to Switzerland when I overindulged in chocolates and fondue (and it was so very worth it). Pricing is by the pound if you get items a la carte. Truffles and pralines are $84 per lb (works out to be average of $3 per piece) and their chocolate bark bars (aka FrischSchoggi) are about $60 to $64 per lb. Otherwise there are prepackaged boxes at set prices ranging from about $20 to $150 and more. Today I sampled the hazelnut chocolate bar, pava praline square, a white chocolate espresso truffle, and a champagne truffle. I ultimately decided to purchase the pava praline set (comes with 8 pieces) and 5 pieces of the white chocolate expresso truffles. Total was just under $40. Truffles came in nicely designed, minimalistic boxes. They are located on the second floor of the Bloomingdale's wing of South Coast Plaza, above Sephora.

We have made pit stops at this OG branch of Cream Pan in Tustin over the years. The location of…read morethis well-known Japanese/French bakery was unusual in that it's isolated in a corner of the El Camino Plaza. I had expected the business to be in a more high volume area, however a benefit of their corner spot was that the parking lot had plenty of spaces. There's no indoor seating, but outdoor tables were set up along the north and east perimeters of the building. I was by myself at this latest visit, and it was close to the end of the day so the inventory was quite depleted. There was no line at all which was not a surprise. The famous Strawberry Croissants and prepackaged items were on refrigerated display to the left when you walked in. As the service counter rounded a corner, there were more fresh baked goods on display before you reached a register. Across from the registers were shelves containing bags of fresh bread products. I bought a Strawberry Croissant, a Sticky Bun, a Ham and Cheese Croissant, and an Apple Croissant. The quality of the pastry dough was very good, and I could see why the Strawberry Croissant was a favorite with the customers. The croissants were light and flakey, and the powdered sugar added a delicate topping to the strawberry version. If I were to rate on just the Strawberry Croissant, then it would be five stars. My overall rating was downgraded because of the customer traffic flow. The lines can be optimized so that if you wanted to buy a six-pack of the Strawberry Croissants and/or anything prepackaged, then a separate queue should be arranged for those customers. The cafeteria trays were of limited use if you were not getting a large number of items. As you advanced in the queue, other products had to be requested from a worker behind the counter and then those were not placed on the tray. Ultimately, I think they can configure the operation to more efficiently handle the higher volume periods of the day.

When I arrived at the shop, the posted hours indicated it should have been open since 11 AM, but the store was closed and no one was there. I called multiple times and was given a series of excuses, including that her assistant had been hospitalized the week before. Eventually, Luisa arrived and continued to change her story, offering apology after apology and excuse after excuse. Only after I showed up in person did she actually begin to check whether the order could be completed. Several hours later, she claimed she could still fulfill the order and said the swans would be ready by 7 PM. Since we couldn't return that evening, we arranged to pick them up the next morning at 11:30 AM. Luisa said that would be no problem. However, the next morning, I began receiving texts saying the molds were damaged and she would not be able to complete the order. She offered only two swans--one for the bride and one for the groom. We ordered thirty. That was the entire point. This was a major letdown just before the wedding, and we were left scrambling. The owner demonstrated extremely poor communication, a complete lack of professionalism, and very questionable business practices. Once she accepted the order, she should have immediately confirmed that she had the capability and materials to fulfill it--not wait until the last minute. At no point was I told there might be a problem. This experience was an enormous disappointment during an important life event. I would never recommend Luisa Chocolatier to anyone. The owner is unreliable, disorganized, and lacks the accountability that any successful small business owner should have. I don't know how this shop is still in business.

I'd say I'm embarrassed at how much money we've spent on Chocolate Bash over the last 2 years, but that's just not true. No regrets. I love seeing this business succeed because treating their customers first class has been their M.O. since we first went here for a late night dessert stop. Abdullah is no exception. What an awesome guy. Total heart to serve and loves adding value to people. There was a mistake with our last order and he went above and beyond to make things right. Can't tell you how many times we've been to businesses where they take no ownership of the mistakes they made on their end. Abdullah absolutely stands out for providing first class customer service and he definitely has a bright future. We tried the fresas con crema flight with original, cookie butter, and the limited May dulce de leche~ all super fresh strawberries with that creamy, chocolatey mix that just hits. The cookie butter one was my favorite. Also got the lava cake and it was SO good~ warm, super rich, and honestly just really comforting with ice cream. The s'mores Belgian milk chocolate was another favorite, melted and not too sweet at all. If you go, definitely don't skip the cookie butter strawberry cup. I would absolutely try the fruit sampler platter with Belgium chocolate to start off with. I figure with this you get the taste of the chocolate and get to wash it down with some fruit. I had a really upsetting experience at Chocolate Bash. I found something inside my chocolate cup that absolutely shouldn't have been there, and after eating the pancakes, I ended up with severe stomach pain. This was very concerning, especially when you expect food to be safe and clean. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves their food safety and quality control.
