Stopped in after dinner for a sweet treat. We ordered the Nutella crêpe with brownie bites with strawberry ice cream. Let me just say, this was made to order and tasted great with the crêpe & brownie bits still warm and the cold ice cream on top was amazing in my mouth. They carried a nice selection of desserts here as prior reviews mentioned. Staff here were friendly and welcoming. I would come back when I'm in this area of Tustin as this location stays open later than the other dessert places around there. There are plenty of parking spots here too. read more

Came here craving something sweet, of course! I ordered the Krispy Ice-Cream Cup with chocolate drizzle, whipped cream, and strawberries (which were extra!!!). My friends went for the Brownie Ice-Cream Cup and the Cookie Butter Milkshake. Our ice cream cups came out in about 10 minutes (the girls were working hard!), and the milkshake followed shortly after, maybe another 10 minutes or so. One thing I learned the hard way--don't wait too long to eat! I was trying to be polite and hold off until my friends were served, but by the time I dug in, my chocolate drizzle had turned into solid rock. My plastic spoon didn't stand a chance. I ended up eating the whipped cream first while chipping away at the chocolate, but it never softened--it was just solid chunks the whole time. Maybe it was actually melted chocolate instead of drizzle? Not sure. That said, the Rice Krispies inside were yum--super crunchy and delicious! I also tried a bit of the milkshake--good, but nothing mind-blowing. The brownie cup was very rich and super chocolatey. A heads-up: seating is limited inside, so if you're looking for a comfy spot to hang out and chat, your best bet is your car or an outdoor area nearby. Overall, I came for dessert and left satisfied. Would I come back? Probably--but next time, I'm eating my ice cream asap. read more

Chocolate Bash satisfies that melted chocolate on everything craving that you get. I was a bit confused by the menu since it doesn't explain what the item is. For example, the Bash Roll that I ordered did not list out what is inside. I had to ask the worker what is inside almost every item. You can build your own dessert, but you get a better deal if you order from one of their listed menu items. We got the Bash Roll ($13.99) and chose strawberries and bananas for the fruit that goes inside the crepe. We also got to choose the type of chocolate melted on top and we went with dark chocolate. The Bash Roll was huge! There were plenty of fresh cut strawberries and bananas inside the roll that made the roll ginormous. It was definitely enough to share between 2-3 people. The dark chocolate was delicious! I wish that they drizzled more chocolate into the dish because there weren't enough chocolate to dip the fruits in. This is a very small shop with a few tables inside. We got lucky with a table that opened up after we ordered. I definitely recommend this place the next time you want a decadent dessert! read more

Tried their famous Dubai Pistachio chocolate with strawberries, it wasn't too bad, I enjoyed the chunks and pieces to give a crunch with the strawberry. We went on a Sunday so there was a line. The chocolate drizzled on the strawberry did not make it overly sweet which I appreciated. read more

This review is just for their Dubai chocolate bar. It's a smaller size and it's $10. It had a soapy flavor, almost detergent aftertaste. We thought something was wrong and they were generous to replace it. However bar #2 has that same soapy/ lotion taste that lingers well after eating it. It almost numbs the tongue. Maybe it's a spice they are adding but cannot recommend this overly floral and soapy chocolate. read more

They were handing out samples of their hazelnut chocolate bars, and after one bite, I knew I had to step inside to look around and try some more. Such luxuriously rich and smooth chocolate morsels that melt so exquisitely in your mouth (where you can taste and smell the layers of quality ingredients contained in each piece). Really took me back to my last trip to Switzerland when I overindulged in chocolates and fondue (and it was so very worth it). Pricing is by the pound if you get items a la carte. Truffles and pralines are $84 per lb (works out to be average of $3 per piece) and their chocolate bark bars (aka FrischSchoggi) are about $60 to $64 per lb. Otherwise there are prepackaged boxes at set prices ranging from about $20 to $150 and more. Today I sampled the hazelnut chocolate bar, pava praline square, a white chocolate espresso truffle, and a champagne truffle. I ultimately decided to purchase the pava praline set (comes with 8 pieces) and 5 pieces of the white chocolate expresso truffles. Total was just under $40. Truffles came in nicely designed, minimalistic boxes. They are located on the second floor of the Bloomingdale's wing of South Coast Plaza, above Sephora.

After a couple of minutes of complete silence and being ignored, we walked out without buying anything even though we specifically came in looking to buy gifts. If you are going to sell expensive chocolate, maybe it's worth investing in better customer service.

The decor is always cute and the staff are always friendly. Though their regular/non-rotating donut flavors are just as good (the butter pecan, plain, chocolate glazed and bumbleberry), if I'm making the drive all the way out here, I prioritize their monthly flavors first. I placed an order for 30 white chocolate swans--a key part of the wedding favors--eight days prior to a wedding, with a confirmed pickup time of Thursday at 11:30 AM, the day before the event. When I arrived at the shop, the posted hours indicated it should have been open since 11 AM, but the store was closed and no one was there. I called multiple times and was given a series of excuses, including that her assistant had been hospitalized the week before. Eventually, Luisa arrived and continued to change her story, offering apology after apology and excuse after excuse. Only after I showed up in person did she actually begin to check whether the order could be completed. Several hours later, she claimed she could still fulfill the order and said the swans would be ready by 7 PM. Since we couldn't return that evening, we arranged to pick them up the next morning at 11:30 AM. Luisa said that would be no problem. However, the next morning, I began receiving texts saying the molds were damaged and she would not be able to complete the order. She offered only two swans--one for the bride and one for the groom. We ordered thirty. That was the entire point. This was a major letdown just before the wedding, and we were left scrambling. The owner demonstrated extremely poor communication, a complete lack of professionalism, and very questionable business practices. Once she accepted the order, she should have immediately confirmed that she had the capability and materials to fulfill it--not wait until the last minute. At no point was I told there might be a problem. This experience was an enormous disappointment during an important life event. I would never recommend Luisa Chocolatier to anyone. The owner is unreliable, disorganized, and lacks the accountability that any successful small business owner should have. I don't know how this shop is still in business.

I'd say I'm embarrassed at how much money we've spent on Chocolate Bash over the last 2 years, but that's just not true. No regrets. I love seeing this business succeed because treating their customers first class has been their M.O. since we first went here for a late night dessert stop. Abdullah is no exception. What an awesome guy. Total heart to serve and loves adding value to people. There was a mistake with our last order and he went above and beyond to make things right. Can't tell you how many times we've been to businesses where they take no ownership of the mistakes they made on their end. Abdullah absolutely stands out for providing first class customer service and he definitely has a bright future. On a food note, the waffle with Belgian milk chocolate is still king, but you wouldn't be wrong for going with cookie butter. read more

Chocolate Bash was such a good late-night dessert stop. We tried the fresas con crema flight with original, cookie butter, and the limited May dulce de leche~ all super fresh strawberries with that creamy, chocolatey mix that just hits. The cookie butter one was my favorite. Also got the lava cake and it was SO good~ warm, super rich, and honestly just really comforting with ice cream. The s'mores Belgian milk chocolate was another favorite, melted and not too sweet at all. If you go, definitely don't skip the cookie butter strawberry cup. And I love that they let you build your own crepes, waffles, and mini pancakes with premium spreads like hazelnut and pistachio. I love coming here on a Thursday night after a stressful workday. The ladies working here today 4/13/23 were so helpful in helping my fiancé decide what to order (he's a first timer). I would absolutely try the fruit sampler platter with Belgium chocolate to start off with. I figure with this you get the taste of the chocolate and get to wash it down with some fruit. I had a really upsetting experience at Chocolate Bash. I found something inside my chocolate cup that absolutely shouldn't have been there, and after eating the pancakes, I ended up with severe stomach pain. This was very concerning, especially when you expect food to be safe and clean. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves their food safety and quality control. We all enjoyed out freshly made ice cream rolls. My girls enjoyed a fun new way to enjoy their ice cream. I was pleasantly surprised at the face it was not too sweet.

Come here a lot but two issues I think management have to work on…read more 1. Sometimes your yogurt is watery 2. Please train your staff to use gloves when handling cones. Even though there may be a wrapper on the cone, their fingers still touch the cone itself! Then they handle money in between servicing customers. Not sanitary!
