Second time at CHOP but first time sitting upstairs which was gorgeous. People will be slightly dressed up but nothing too extravagant, seems like it's ok to come in dressed casually as well. This place gets super busy on Memorial Day weekend but they do a great job ensuring that they are fully staffed and can churn out food and drinks quickly. We ordered the 8 ounce New York strip plus CHOP steak salad (but make it Caesar). We both got cups of soup (lobster and crab bisque or garlic potato) which were incredible. Paired with a delicious cherry sour and an old fashioned. Exactly what we wanted after a good day of exploring. Make sure to go between 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM to get their $34.95 three course dinner special (soup or salad, main, and dessert).

Staff were well informed, so they made excellent recommendations. We sat on the upstairs patio - love the view and breeze. The steak could not have been better. The only comparable I've had was at a far more expensive restaurant. My wife was delighted with her carrot cake. My chocolate mousse was good but not exceptional. The house red wine was fabulous. The early dinners and drinks are a a true bargain.

Came here on New Year's Eve with a group, and they were so considerate to allow an addition to our table! I got a steak which was the best steak I've had in all of door county - the house butters are to die for!

    Delicious halibut!

Fresh hot popovers to start were a highlight and loved the sweet butter. Lobster bisque and clam chowder were delicious. Nice that a soup or salad was included with an entree. Duck and halibut were outstanding. Ribeyes were okay but bit fatty. Good butters with steak. Ambiance was fine . Trendy modern. Outdoor seating available and families with kids tended to be outside. Service was good and not intrusive.

The first impression of chop is lovely. Was warmly greeted, and shown to our table.we had made a reservation. Service started off great. We ordered cocktails before dinner and their dirty martini was very good. We ordered an appetizer which was Barada bruschetta that was fantastic! Moving on, we ordered our dinners. I had a steak and my husband had I believe, some sort of short ribs and a wine sauce? I wish I could remember exactly what it was. It was a little wine forward. He said it was OK wasn't great. This is where things kind of go sideways. I had a coupon from the restaurant for a free glass of wine. I showed our server the coupon and said oh I have this. Could I get a free glass of wine? And he said I don't know how to do that. And walked away. I had a second server come over and I said do you know how to use this coupon for a free glass of wine? She said no I don't really understand how to do that. Not once did either one of them say let me get the manager let me look into it for you. I don't know why establishment would send you a coupon to use for your dinner and then not honor it. Also, our server never asked if we wanted another glass of wine, another cocktail, anything else for dinner? We were just left alone until the bill came. They also gave me a chipped water glass. I don't understand how they couldn't see a huge chip missing from the glass with a crack in it. I'm just glad I didn't cut my lip. The ambience is beautiful. But the service was completely lacking. The food was just OK. If somebody would've at least tried to honor my coupon, or asked if we wanted anything else with our dinner, they could've upsold us. Sadly, no effort was made on their part. We were never even asked if we wanted dessert. In the end, I think there are too many wonderful restaurants that I would give my business to next time.

This place is way overrated. We sat upstairs on the outside patio. I ordered the filet and my husband ordered a ribeye. It had absolutely NO FLAVOR. For 3 drinks and 2 steaks it was over $200. Totally not worth it.

Pork chop with apple slices over smashed potatoes. Was excellent!

The food here is always outstanding! The carrot cake for desert is a must every time. This evening our waitress, Bree, was exceptional and the standard all should strive to meet Always a favorite of ours.

Dress up and make reservations. Although we saw plenty of people casual dressed and waiting at 4:55 for opening to get in. We make reservations for 5 on a Friday night and most of us had the early bird menu with salad, main course and dessert. It was about $32. I got the crab cakes. Chop salad and carrot cake. Okay, all delish. But oh my gosh! That carrot cake!!! Wow! Two old fashioneds- both super yummy! Cool atmosphere. Friendly waitstaff. They add gratuity on bill so if you had too much to drink. Don't double tip! Great location in sister bay. Picturesque! Loved it all! TY

So I arrived at 5:25 to take advantage of this deal. The old fashioned was enormous and strong. A bit sweet and heavily iced. The appetizer salad was beautifully constructed with crunchy, wonderfully fresh veggies. And a ranch that was delicious (I don't usually love ranch). My entree was the chicken katsu which was huge and so crispy with a a sweet lovely sauce drizzled over it. And the cherry pie for dessert was the perfect ending. Even though I was stuffed, it was the perfect slice of cherry pie. A buttery, flaky crust balanced with the tart cherries.

Our waiter was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of the evening was meeting the owner, Penny. She took the time to share the history of the supper club, which was especially meaningful to me because my own parents owned a supper club. Hearing the stories and traditions behind the place made the experience even more special. Great food, wonderful people, and authentic Wisconsin hospitality. Sister Bay Bowl is a Door County gem that I highly recommend.

Yes, you're probably going to wait for a table -- just expect it and enjoy the experience! Once you're seated and place your order, though, the food comes out amazingly fast. You can't go wrong with the authentic Swedish pancakes and lingonberries, and I think you get a great meal for the price. I also tried the Swedish Sangria made with Brut, Swedish Glogg & Fruit this time, and it was tasty! And then there are the famous goats on the grass-covered roof! Unfortunately, we arrived a little too late in the day and apparently the goats had already called it quits. We even walked around back looking for them! No goats, but we did get to see their little staircase leading up to the roof. Next time, we'll have to get there earlier! Whatever you do, don't leave without visiting the gift shop aka Butik!
