    Blackened Salmon-wonderful!!

Still enjoying our visits to Lure. This trip was on a busy Thursday evening. We sat near the kitchen for the first time, and it was a bit more lively, but just as good as being in the porch. We both got the Crab Crusted Halibut. Excellent fish and cooked pretty well. A bit overdone in the middle, but a big, meaty piece of fish. The crab crust and lemon sauce was outstanding. We shared Key Lime pie and had a couple of drinks that were expertly prepared. The Key Lime was very good. Service was amazing from Bahar was good as we've ever had. We've always enjoyed our visits here and will be back!

Recently revisited Lure for the second time and loved it just as much as the first! With a dimly lit, modern vibe Lure is a perfect romantic night out in Sister Bay. While we ate inside due to weather, the patio looks very nice with fun string lighting and is hidden away from the Main Street. Everything we've had here is delicious especially the fish of course. Door county does not have plentiful sushi options but the sushi here is very good! This time around we enjoyed their special early dining menu which is $30 for an appetizer main course and dessert- such a good deal! We love Lure for a date night out in Door County.

Lure is laid back, yet upscale sea themed casual dining in downtown Sister Bay. (Appears to be the same owners as Chop down the street.) Influences from Japanese cuisine (sushi rolls, teriyaki salmon, tempura shrimp), Hawaii (tuna poke), as well as right at home in the Great Lakes region (the Wisconsin Fish Fry, walleye). Plus a really unique addition with the crab nachos. The chips were not your typical tortilla chips, but uniquely hand fried with almost a pork rind texture. Great cocktails and mocktails (I recommend the blueberry lemon drop). My husband got the black cod and it was amazing! This is the third time in a year I have seen black cod on a menu. The last two times were in Oahu and Miami, so the owners/chefs are on top of what's on trend. The decor with the giant fishing lures is great. Happy to have gotten reeled in again with this whimsical dining option.

Beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors you can have a dog with you. Food was excelkent. The four of us had wonderful meals including tuna roll for appetizer. Seafood pan Roast which had scallops, shrimp, lump crab, andouille sausage, spicy brandy tomato cream,; Alaskan halibut; Surf & Turf; and a 6 oz filet mignon. My advice is go because you will have a great meal.

I had a delicious fish fry dinner with locally caught whitefish. Many local Wisconsin beer choices. They have a nice outdoor patio too if the weather is good. Service was good too! You will definitely need a reservation here as it is quite busy even on a Sunday evening for dinner. Overall, I enjoyed eating here.

Saturday Happy Hour!? Loved stopping in for drinks and small bites for their daily Happy Hour (4:30-6pm). Our group got a wide variety of the small bites to try. The overall favorites were the Spicy Tuna Roll, Crab Nachos, & Calamari. The portion sizes varied with each dish but everything came at a very fair price. I also ordered the Wisconsin Old Fashioned (bourbon & pressed) and I thought it was super tasty! I wasn't familiar with being asked the serving styles but our waitress was great about explaining it thoroughly to me!

Had a great meal, and great service with Walter. We went for the early bird special, had the whitefish almandine, crusty bread (for 6.95) , and it was delicious. Dinners came with a salad (Caesar) and a dessert. Had the fillet which was an up charge of about 8 dollars, mashed potatoes and greens. Would gladly come again to this restaurant.

This is completely service related review! We sat down and no one even approached us for at least 15 min. I get it! The world is short staffed but at least show up and recognize us. We ordered drinks and they didn't show up until after we placed our food order so why bother ordering more drinks since they wouldn't show up until after we eat. We started with the Spicy Tuna roll and it was OK but the rice was dry and the roll fell apart very easily. I was headed for the Lobster Risotto but they were out so I had the Seafood Pasta. It was OK but didn't have a lot of flavor. We could have easily spent another $50 if they would have offered better service or even if they offered desert. Probably our last visit to Lure

    Such a pretty building

What a beautiful building with delicious food to match! 2 of us walked in on a Friday night, & to our surprise we were able to be seated outdoors in less than 30 min. While we waited for a table, we enjoyed a cocktail at the bar. The bartenders were attentive & fun to watch. We were seated at a beautiful table & our server took our orders promptly. We chose the crab cake appetizer & each got a sushi roll. Each item was freshly prepared & packed with flavor. This Sister Bay gem is not to be missed!

We went to Lure to celebrate my birthday and I'm very glad we chose here! We went at 5pm in order to get the Early Dining Menu. It was $30 for an appetizer, main dish, and dessert (not pictured). For the quality of food I think this deal was a great deal! We also snagged a few happy hour drinks ($5 old fashioned and $2 off rail drinks). The appetizers: I could have ate 10 plates of the Caesar salad. It was delicious and the fresh grated Parmesan was delicious. I had some of David's calamari and it was SO flavorful. There were fried jalapeños mixed in which added a great kick. Main Meals: We got the Salmon and Beef tips. These were both recommended by our very nice server. They were AMAZING! No food was left behind. Dessert: We got the sundae which was basic (vanilla ice cream, chocolate fudge and nuts) but tasted great! We were STUFFED but very happy by the end. Definitely check Lure out next time you're in Door County and looking for a nicer restaurant to eat at.

If you want a true taste of Wisconsin, start with a brandy Old Fashioned--nobody does them quite like Wisconsin, and theirs was excellent. We visited on a Friday night and enjoyed the classic Wisconsin fish fry. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and I have to mention that they serve the best blue cheese dressing I've had in a long time. Our waiter was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of the evening was meeting the owner, Penny. She took the time to share the history of the supper club, which was especially meaningful to me because my own parents owned a supper club. Hearing the stories and traditions behind the place made the experience even more special. Great food, wonderful people, and authentic Wisconsin hospitality. Sister Bay Bowl is a Door County gem that I highly recommend.

This place gets super busy on Memorial Day weekend but they do a great job ensuring that they are fully staffed and can churn out food and drinks quickly. Service staff is always top notch. Last year we ate a later dinner inside and the ambiance was wonderful. Old school steakhouse feel with big leather seats and candle lights. It's was great. They serve a great Kentucky Old Fashioned. Nice way to kick off a great meal. The entrees and apps are all very tasty, especially the fresh salads, soups, scallops, and crabcakes. The wine list is on the pricey side, we opted for a carafe of house Italian red blend and it paired very nicely with the filets and my wallet. Don't skip the dessert. Carrot cake and key lime pie were both amazing. Only disappointing notes this year were the mashed potatoes. They had a box mashed potatoes aftertaste, not the usual Yukon gold I remember. Not sure what was going on there but it stood out. Also, we were on the upper deck again, but it felt like there was one too many tables out there. Tough to maneuver around, needed just a bit more breathing room. Otherwise, still a wonderful meal.
