They have recently opened up in the NEX Food Court...next to Yummy's BBQ....prices are very reasonable taste wise it's not bad at all! 1,2,3 choices with either fried rice or chow mein., The fried egg roll instead of ordering it as a sides I ordered it as a combo., Portions could be a little more generous than I expected. The beef broccoli leaflets sizes are large but the beef are cut into tiny pieces and the chicken mushroom was watering but tasty cut into small sizes as well. Overall taste was alright not salty hopefully no msg flavoring. For some reason there's no cold Japanese green tea nor jasmine tea bottles served in the drink counter. It may not be popular with military solders but it'll be great if there are healthier choices as well!

I'm so glad this came back to the Pearl Harbor NEX food court! They don't have honey chicken anymore but the eggplant with tofu was very good! I wasn't in the mood for starch so I just got a large eggplant entree only box. It was just the right amount of spice. A bit oily for my taste, but at least it wasn't dry! The only weird part was it seemed very dark behind the counter. The signs were not all displayed to say what the different entrees were. If there were brighter lights, the food would probably look more enticing. The service was fast and friendly and I would definitely come back. Panda but slightly cheaper and homier. Lots of free parking in the big lot and you don't need military access to come here. It's open to the public!

One choice option at Chowmein Express. Poor food quality.

After renovation, it's much cleaner and brighter inside. Their Cheung fun and Congee are always my favorite. Chinese donut was not as good as before. Tastes like pre-made. Wonton soup was tasty. If you pass by Chinatown, Lam's is one of the good places to go.

Inside, the space feels busy with tables and people moving around. There are benches inside for those waiting for a table. We had to wait a bit before we were seated but they seemed efficient in ushering people in and out of the restaurant. The middle had smaller tables, which seemed most suitable for two people. The sides had larger tables for larger parties. The tables felt pretty close together but we enjoyed the stool/bench chairs we sat on. They were different than what we are used to in restaurants. Our order was taken quickly. We decided to get the beef chow fun, yang chow fried rice, and cheong fun. The cheong fun was good, especially after adding hoisin sauce. The texture was soft and the portion was quite decent. The chow fun was also yummy. It was tasty without being overbearing. The fried rice was our favorite. It was flavorful and included a variety of ingredients. The prices were not bad either, considering the portion sizes. We hope to be back one day to try more of what they have!

One of our go-to orders here is and always will be, their Sweet & Sour Pork (with the sauce on the…read moreside)! The pork is incredibly crispy and the sauce is light, tangy, and always hits the spot. It pairs perfectly with either a noodle dish or just a bowl of rice. I also love their Spicy Seafood Noodles. Tonight's portion was extra huge, and I still managed to finish it! The broth looks fiery, but it's actually light with lots of seafood flavor and subtle peppery notes. Definitely not as spicy as it looks- at least for me (one that usually prefers mild spicy). I also heard they make all of their noodles in-house, which means they are fresh and made with care. The service has always been friendly and efficient. Do note that you have to pay for parking, but we are usually in and out within the hour mark so it's not too bad.

Parking on Sunday evening now costs $5 because you have to pay the overnight rate. We were told the wait would be 40 minutes. Three people came 15 minutes after us, and we were told they also had reservations. After we were seated, they told us that they now accept reservations from groups of five or more. With the higher parking fees and new reservations policy this restaurant might need to come off my recommended list.

Our favorites are the siu mai and fried shrimp balls, the shrimp balls have these noodles on the outside which make it super crispy and fun to eat. There was plenty of parking in the basement; but the weird thing is the elevator doesn't go back down to the basement, we had to go around the building and walk down the parking ramp!

The restaurant wasn't small, but there were just a lot of people. We waited about 20 minutes for a table. What's great about this place is that they have these paper menus. You can check off what you want while you're waiting. As soon as you get seated, you can just hand over the menu to the server and it makes the process a lot faster. It didn't take that long for us to get our food. We ordered a lot of items. We got the shrimp dumplings, black bean spareribs, beef look fun, Shanghai pork dumplings, steamed salted egg custard buns, pan fried turnip cake, seafood bean curd roll, sesame balls with red bean, taro puffs and chicken dumplings. Everything was on point except the sesame balls with red bean. They were small and the breading was thick. Pass on those. My two favorites were the black bean spareribs and the salted egg custard buns. I love salted duck eggs. The prices here are a bit more than the average dim sum spot. Most of the steamed baskets were $7-$8. If you use your American Savings Bank debit card you get a discount: $7 off $50, $15 off $100 or $75 off $500. Free parking in the basement of the building.
