The sides and apps were amazing! The sushi, mid. The parking is horrible! It's a small/medium lot that shares with the surrounding businesses. Try to carpool or go on a weekday when it's less crowded. I will start by saying, sushi is not my favorite thing but my friends love sushi and for all you can eat pricing with plenty of apps to choose from I thought it would be fun to go. We joined the virtual waitlist through Yelp and just kept an eye on it. When we arrived we were seated immediately. Our waiter explained how it worked and we began ordering. I started with the steak hibachi and a side of fries! The hibachi was good! Nice flavors and good temperature. The fries were so crispy! I love a crispy fry! I also got a small ramen and it was flavorful and tasted amazing! The sushi rolls were pretty big! My friends said it was too rice heavy and the fish was a little squishy. Since I don't eat sushi I couldn't tell the difference when I tasted it so I took their word on it. At one point our waitress forgot to check on us so we couldn't order more food till she showed up. She got a little busy and I tried getting her attention a few times. Even asked a different waiter if they could track her down or take our next order. When she did finally come back she admitted she forgot to check on us and technically our time was up. But since it was her mistake she gave us an extra 30 mins and took our last orders. I was a little frustrated with this because I didn't feel like I got my moneys worth cause I couldn't order more food cause she forgot about it. Yes the extra 30 min was nice but not enough time to make up for how long she forgot about it. Over all it seemed a little in organized and according to my sushi loving friends, it was mid. If someone else invited me to go I think I would say yes but I'm not making any plans out there just yet.

Friday afternoon at 4PM there is already a line at the door. The sushi were tasty and we loved the skewers and the appetizers. Cameron was attentive, he provided great service and recommendations. The decor was really adorable and I can see why they are a popular spot. A couple of call outs - the karaage chicken was crispy and tasty but it was cold, Cameron took it back and brought us another serving, still cold. Never had cold karaage chicken at a restaurant before. The sushi rice might have been overdone w the vinegar/sugar mix, the rice was not stuck together but fall apart easy... not quite what I was looking for with a proper nigiri.... The rice to fish ratio was decent though. The avocado roll was creamy and the skewers were the stars of the show. The pork bao bun was yum, definitely ask for cilantro as it's the traditional Taiwanese way of eating a pork bao bun. All in all it's a great spot with amazing service, I can overlook the rice situ and the cold karaage as the other food were tasty and the service was top notch. Get the white fish sashimi appetizer, it's got some crunchy garlic bits that's oh so yummy!

Finally made it here May 9th for a Mothers Day dinner with my daughter. Joined the waitlist and drove 45 min and was able to get seated at the sushi bar. Service was amazing the atmosphere was great and the music was amazing too!! The food was so good, Fresh. I couldn't stop eating. My daughter loved the hibachi shrimp.

We played waitlist roulette but ultimately didn't wait long for a table for 4 on a Tuesday evening. The ambiance is super fun, my teen and little kiddo loved it, especially the robot waiter. Our human waiter, Phoenix, was really really good as well! Funny and charming. The drinks (one specialty cocktail and one warm sake) were excellent and the menu had something for everyone! We especially liked the ramen and the nigiri. We had a great time and recommend this for a fun night out!

Maybe my third time coming here, and it's still good when you're craving AYCE. I can't say how it compares to other AYCE sushi in Colorado, but I know that their menu variety is what sets them apart. There is something for everyone, especially if you're coming with people who may not be into raw fish. I especially love their skewers; the seasoning on them is perfection. Sakura roll is my favorite of the specialty rolls. Make sure to check-in online to get on their waitlist before you make the drive over because the wait is usually 1.5 hours on peak days like Friday/Saturday dinner. Pretty big parking lot but you may need to park towards the back since spots fill up in this plaza for some reason. Service is quick and waiters are nice. Highly recommend checking them out when you're in the mood for AYCE.

Overall, Chubby Fish Sushi was good. The sushi itself was fine but nothing crazy. They do serve All You Can Eat which is nice but I feel that draws in a ton of people which leads to my biggest gripe, the wait. We had to wait three hours to be seated and yes, we were on the online waitlist. It was so long we actually went to another restaurant to get appetizers and drinks until we could get seated here. Then, we had to order the yellowtail sushi three times before they brought it to us (they kept bringing everything we ordered except the yellowtail for some reason). Service was friendly but seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people the were serving. Ambiance was very cool and they had little robot servers that would bring you some of your food. If you don't mind the wait, give this place a shot.

I give it a 3 stars overall. Great service and friendly staff. Not sure if it was the owner or not but he was very attentive and made sure my cousin and I ordered the right sake for us. Aside from service, food was okay. They really pack the rice up whether it's a roll or Ngiri. It was also very soggy and it just overpowered all the flavor of the fish. All I taste is sushi rice no matter the roll or Ngiri :/ Seared salmon and seared tuna Ngiri were not what I was expected. It didn't seem seared at all or have that taste...just fried garlic sprinkled on top. I don't recommend it. Salmon Slashimi is good and was probably the best thing on the AYCE. Artisan roll is also a close second. The yellow tail was a nice touch and had good balance...just wish rice wasn't soggy and overpowered everything.

The kids were hungry and we decided sushi. We have been wanting to try this since they open and finally did. The wait was about 2 1/2 hours. The food was good we didn't have a single bad roll or app. Our second round i did felt like it was too much either eel sauce in the 3 different rolls we got. Our server was nice and it was busy but finally died down our waiter was very attentive made sure our drink we're never empty. I do recommend ordering what you can eat the 1st round. 2nd round if your still hungry might be a bit of a wait They say they will charge $1 for any left over rolls not eaten and can not take home since it is an all you can eat but there is a time limit. Place was definitely loud but it was busy didn't expect it to be silent. We were in one of the booth so it didn't bother us. Very cool anime decor. Little robot helping out the servers. Definitely recommend getting on the wait list asap to avoid ling wait time

Great service and a fun experience, but I'm not sure all-you-can-eat is for me. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Our server was kind, patient, and took the time to explain how the ordering process worked, answering all our questions, we felt very welcome. The food came in small portions, which makes sense for an all-you-can-eat setup since you can order as much as you want. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the dessert was both unique and amazing. Overall, it was a great experience, even if I'm still figuring out whether all-you-can-eat is my style.

Best AYCE spot in Denver hands down. The quality, selection and the ambiance is amazing and they stay open till 12am which is nice. Service is always on point.

Food was delicious and came out surprisingly fast for how busy. Be prepared to wait a long time to get seated though.

So many options 99% delicious. We stopped on a weekday for a late dinner. When arrival there was no wait time, and we were taking straight to our table. From my visit Colorado this was one of the best restaurants that I had. I have to say that overall I will highly recommend. So this spot is an all you can eat however you choose it from the menu and they bring it to you . They do have a few rules for example, you cannot order more than five of the same dish on one round. And if you excessively leave food, they will charge you additional fee for it. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. Specially, the octopus, sushi, and the salmon onigiri which I had a few . The only thing we really like was the shrimp tempura however, other than that, everything was great . Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was super bright and looked very fun. They do have a giant TV playing anime.

I was really looking forward to their AYCE sushi and bites. I'm not a huge sushi person but they had some rolls that looked good to me, and I was quite ravenous. My adorable server Ryan was friendly and made sure I was taken care of during my stay, his customer service was spot on. The atmosphere was really loud with just chatter from the patrons. If this wasn't AYCE I would've just taken it to go to enjoy the solace of my car or home. All that being said it got such a low rating from the food. The very first roll I tasted, Golden California Roll, was the best. It was sweet, a smidgeon of spice, and crispy and warm from being fried. The Angry Dragon Roll, human, and pork belly skewer did not meet the mark at all. Whether it was texture, too much crab meat (was cheesy tasting too not a fan) or just simply flavor. I had high hopes and if the food would've been better I could've stuffed myself more. However, being that the food wasn't all that good, I found a stopping point. Something about being full and not eating good food doesn't sit right with my stomach.

We thought we made a mistake choosing sushi bar instead of a table because we'll have back issues. Surprisingly, the chairs had a mini back so you could lean back occasionally. And we think our experience was better because the sushi chefs would explain the origin of the fish and all the ingredients they used into each roll and order. We also got a complimentary piece for sitting at the sushi bar which was a light fried yellow tail which was so good. Service is amazing. They're attentive and check in on you often. It does take some time to get your rolls but give its time to digest. From watching the sushi chefs at the bar, they're very precise in how they make each roll. Every roll has similar proportions from the slight wasabi they use to the amount of rice and fish. Everything that we had was amazing. The hamachi and salmon sashimi felt like butter. It just melts in your mouth. The aged toro was so delicious. Even the edamame was just so good. The unagi nigiri is some of the best I've had in the state (the nigri was better than the handroll and I think it's because I love unagi so I love the ratio in nigiri form). The Spicy Tuna Oshizushi was a surprising favorite of the night along with the Crème Fresh Salmon Belly. I could've done without the wagyu but it was good. Every order does come with only 1 so order based on the amount of people that are with your party. Some items we were unsure of like the wagyu so we ordered 1 and shared a bite. Overall, I understand the hype and the reservations. But it was worth it and I'm surprised we can get high quality fish in a landlock state. Uchi is dangerous for people like me…read more Not because of the raw fish. Because the place understands seduction. I've been eating at Uchi since it opened in Denver and today it still carries that same intoxicating balance of precision, warmth, swagger, and restraint. The room itself glows instead of shouts. Wood slats divide the dining room into little private theaters while the sushi counter hums with focused choreography. Expert hands moving constantly. Rice. Fish. Quiet communication. Tiny acts of discipline repeated hundreds of times a night. I sat down intending to have a civilized happy hour. That plan lasted maybe twelve minutes. The kurodai crudo arrived first. Gooseberry, leche de tigre, candied garlic. Bright, sharp, and alive. This is the kind of starter that wakes up your entire palate and you are reminded that you will absolutely be spending more money than originally intended. Next was the bincho temaki: cool albacore, kimchi, avocado, and a vividly garish orange sauce with some heat to keep the richness from becoming too much. Uchi understands something many restaurants don't: luxuriousness needs balance. Fatty fish without acid, spice, crunch, or brightness is palate exhaustion. And then one after another the deliciousness continued: the oysters were cold and perfect with cucumber, calamansi vinegar, and umeboshi. The day boat scallop nigiri nearly stopped time altogether. Just sweet scallops, rice, citrus, a little finishing salt. Incréable. Or whatever the French word is for "I briefly forgot my own name." And somewhere during martini number one, the staff adopted me. Apparently Uchi keeps notes on guests. Mine, I was told, says I'm "nice and a good eater," which may be the most flattering thing anyone has said to me in months. Suddenly more dishes started appearing. Gifted nigiri. Ikura glowing like little amber jewels (my favorite). A ridiculous and completely delicious carrot toro maki with green chili crunch and enough heat underneath the richness to make the whole thing flirt openly with your mouth. At one point the bartenders literally invented a "walu walu shot" on the fly just because the mood had drifted into improvisational chaos. This was somewhere between oyster shooter, seafood dare, and excellent bad decisions. Meanwhile, the guests next to me started talking to me and the entire energy of the evening shifted into communal sushi-bar joy. Suddenly we were all reacting to dishes, laughing, comparing bites, participating in the same ecosystem of salt, fish, alcohol, and temporary human connection. This is the real thing Uchi sells. Not merely sushi. Attention. Rhythm. Atmosphere. Memory. The feeling of being folded into a beautifully functioning machine dedicated entirely to pleasure. And yes, by the end I was emotional enough to remember being 20 years old eating sushi with an older woman named Alana who wore real fur and introduced me to this whole sensual adult world in the first place. That is what a martini and exceptional nigiri will do to a man. The final bill before tip was somehow only $141, which honestly feels mathematically impossible considering I briefly entered a spiritual relationship with the sushi counter. I tipped $50 because at that point we were basically family. Uchi remains one of the sexiest restaurants in Denver. Not performatively sexy. Not influencer sexy. Actually sexy. Confident. Observant. Generous. Precise. And just dangerous enough to make you order one more thing. Amazing dining experience.

It was also surprising because the restaurant wasn't busy. There were open bar seats and plenty of open tables, so I'd be nervous to see what the experience is like on a busy night. It's disappointing because the food is solid, but the pacing and service make it hard to come back.
