Went to Chucks for out wedding anniversary dinner and we have a mixed review. On the good side the place looks nice and all servers and waiters were very polite. Lester did a good job serving us. We enjoyed the open salad bar and ambiance of the place. For a rainy Monday the place was pretty packed with locals. The steaks were very good. Ordered two 20 oz bone in rib eyes medium rare and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The downside of this review should actually be an easy fix; The sides! The cream of spinach was not good. It did not look fresh, and my wife and I go to many steakhouses and can tell right off the bat just by looking at the cream spinach that it was not going to be good. The mashed potatoes were cold ! Presented in a way as it was not made from scratch and there was not any gravy offered either. Lester took the spinach off the bill and we ordered fries. Overall we had a good time and I would like to go back to try their burger and Philly steak sandwiches. This place can really go from a 3 star to 4 or 5 easily if they would focus on the sides completing the official steakhouse experience. Drinks were good. There are happy hour specials for those interested. Lester hooked us up with a yummy chocolate and ice cream cake for our anniversary. Thank you. Rooting for improvements for Chuck's steakhouse.

Five of us went for dinner tonight, Christmas Eve. The service was great and we all loved our meals. Three of us had Prime Rib special, one had a crabmeat stuffed lobster tail and one had a lump crab cake with fries. The salad bar was fresh and delicious. We would absolutely go back. Yum.

My family and I had a wonderful time here! The restaurant was spacious and cozy, and the staff members were all very friendly and attuned! The burger was delicious and the complimentary salad bar had really good options, especially their chicken and potato salads! My only critique is their French onion soup was mild in flavor which was overly bland for our liking. Other than that, highly recommend giving them a shot! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Gave us a raw steak, asked for medium rare not raw I don't know what's going on but get a new cook

The greeting area. Complete with wood paneling, the kind my grandparents used to have.

Three stars. Chuck's Steak House has an old-school vibe that will appeal to some, but might feel dated to others. The ribeye was cooked to order, though the flavor didn't quite match the price point. The salad bar offered a variety of options, but could use a refresh. Service was efficient, and the atmosphere leans heavily into nostalgia. Good for a casual night out if you know what to expect.

They have to add this as a regular on their Appetizer list. Right now it's a specialty item. MAKE IT A REGULAR!!!

Great atmosphere, great service (Ryan), great food, and great people. The Barbarie family, especially Tom and Dean, are incredible restauranteurs and more importantly, incredible human beings! Thank you for always making our visits to your restaurants beautiful!

I will say it can get quite loud in there when full which it was on a Saturday night. We shared a salad to start- it was some sort of winter salad with spinach. For mains he got a steak- the steak itself was well cooked and flavorful. The mashed potatoes normally his favorite side were quite bland. He had me try them and I agreed. I ordered the mushroom ravioli. I went to take my first bite however and found they'd brought out the lobster ravioli instead. After awhile of waiting they brought out the correct meal. They did comp the ravioli which was very nice and aside from the small mix up we had great service throughout. We'll definitely come back but it is pricier than our average meal out. Hoping to try their brunch soon!

I ordered one of the steaks and didn't realize it would come like pictured. It was tasty, but the menu lacks detail. I had a few questions about other items too. All the food we got was good! Same to the Crab legs overcooked and tasteless. Not many seafood selection for bbq/hotpot. Pineapple very sour, looks not ripe yet. We had hotpot and bbq. There's always missing items especially the meat, not giving much veggies for you very small bunch (few strings watercress) for 5 pp(seriously!) then I figured regardless you add 1 or 5 they give you same amount, long wait too. We just end up feelin " begging for food" because you have to keep ordering to get some food to show up, unlike the experience we had in Danbury. I'd rather drive over there to have a better attentive meal. It's so obvious they failed to performe like a buffet especially there's comparison i had in Danbury and harsdale, NY and New Jersey locations. Service is slow even in a weekday. The person cleaning the table is doing good job, other than that, no one comes over unless we ask for it. Honestly in Danbury they keep coming over to either change the gril (so it doesn't get all the char)l or adding soup because they dry up quickly in small pot and no missing items. And also someone cares your experience.... It was also a birthday celebration night. Unfortunately the overall experience is not pleasant, food quality is below the standard. Hope they can improve as i do appreciate they are in the area.

Let's start with what they do right. The place has that classic Italian restaurant feel cozy, welcoming, and clearly built for family-style dining. You can tell right away why people like it. Service tends to be friendly, portions are solid, and it checks that "comfort food" box. But The BEAST isn't here for vibes alone... helpful definitely, but we're here for the food. And this is where things level out. The dishes especially staples like chicken parm come out looking the part, but flavor-wise? It's a little one-dimensional. The sauce leans heavy and slightly flat, lacking that bright, fresh tomato punch you want in a strong Italian kitchen. It fills you up, sure but it doesn't leave a lasting impression. There's also a bit of that "quantity over precision" feel. Big portions are great, but when you're sitting at a 4.7-star reputation, expectations jump and this doesn't quite match that level of execution.

My date and I had an 8:00 PM Valentine's Day reservation and arrived on time. We checked in with the hostess and were told our table would be ready "in a moment," which was totally fine. We stood and waited patiently. Shortly after, a white couple walked in behind us and told the hostess they technically had an 8:15 PM reservation but were told to come at 8:00. They were seated immediately. We looked at each other but didn't say anything -- we figured maybe they had something ready and ours was being turned over. Then another white couple came in with an 8:00 PM reservation and was also seated right away. At this point, we were still standing there. No update. No explanation. No reassurance. All three parties were groups of two. There was no difference in party size, and we were on time for our reservation. Being skipped once might be a mistake. Being skipped twice, with no communication at all, felt intentional and uncomfortable. We were left standing there feeling confused and honestly unwelcome. If there was a legitimate reason for the delay, it was never communicated to us. No "your table is being cleared," no "we're just running behind," nothing. Just silence while other couples were seated in front of us. What was the difference between their table and ours that we were moved to the side to stand and wait? Everyone was a party of 2. We arrived on time and were the first ones in the door.. I truly didn't want to believe what this looked like, but it became impossible to ignore. We ended up leaving because the situation made us feel disrespected and unwanted as customers. Valentine's Day is obviously a busy night, but fairness and basic communication are non-negotiable.
