Came here for a quick bite to eat due to my car being serviced. Ordered the Chika-Chica Boom-Bom special to go! Went back to my dealership and ate it in their customer waiting area :). The roasted chicken with cheese was just what I needed! I completely destroyed it! It sure was a hunger killer! Its fate wasn't good(see pic

Staying down the street so decided to walk to Chuy's Came here last time I visited for business and wanted to try other things on the menu. Was treated as soon as I entered the door. Star is very friendly and attentive. Phyleia was amazing from start to finish. Kept a smile on her face with every interaction. Order soft chicken tacos with rice and beans Everything had full flavor and did not disappoint. Love the decor in the restaurant. Place is well maintained and kept clean. Thank you for the amazing food and thank you Phyleia for the amazing service you provided.

I love to go to Chuy's for happy hour because they have great happy hour options. I love their margaritas on the rocks and their light crispy chips and salsa. I'm partial to their tortilla soup and warm homemade tortillas. I love how they decorate their dining areas with eclectic colorful displays and their retro style tables and chairs, it's all such a fun vibe. On this visit, our server was attentive and helpful and our food and drinks were ready before we knew it.. I love the food, drinks and the vibe at Chuy's.

To be honest I was not expecting the food to be this good Pros I ordered Green chicken enchiladas and everything was so tasty, the rice and beans was delicious and the chicken is pure breast chicken not dry though Service is excellent Plenty of space to move around between tables Background noise is acceptable Affordable prices Cons They don't have real spicy hot sauce when I requested hot sauce they bring Ranch dip sauce I was a bit disappointed Not much variety on menu pretty much enchiladas, burritos/ Tacos

I came here for some drinks with friends. The salsa and chips were delicious. We also got some jalapeño ranch to have with the chips. The jalapeño ranch is a must when going to Chuy's. I got the "Texas size" Tito's cherry limeade. It tasted good but I felt like I was misled. It was definitely not Texas sized. It was only a little bigger than the salt and pepper shakers.

Let's start with the pros. I LOVE Chuy's. On family vacation, decided to have dinner at Chuy's. There was no wait. Food came out nice and hot. Everyone at the table were enjoying their food. At one point I said I was happy that we chose to eat at Chuy's. Mind you we had not eaten all day. Ordered the Pancho's and 4 pancho's in I saw something out of the corner of my eye crawling on my food. There was a bug that had sour cream all over it crawling in my plate. I was totally grossed out, covered it with my napkin, it crawled up on top of my napkin. I notified the waitress. She apologized, took the plate to show it to her manager. Manager apologized and attempted to give an explanation as to what May have happened. Stated he would comp my meal, there were 6 of us at the table. No one wanted their food after the bug situation. Manager ended up comping the entire meal. Asked that we give the location a second chance but we are from out of town so that will not be happening. First night in San Antonio and I get to go to bed hungry and grossed out.

I love vintage kitsch!!! So of course I love the ambiance and decor of Chuy's! My kids were taking pictures in front of everything. And as a huge Elvis fan, I appreciate the Elvis shrine in the lobby. But enough of the decor, on to the food. We had great service, chips and salsa came out almost instantly and our server was prompt with our drinks and food. The kids loved their quesadillas. I had the chicka chicka boom boom enchiladas and they were tasty and hot! My mojito was fresh and tasty, it really hit the spot! I tasted the hub's king punch and plate (how could I resist?) and he enjoyed his grub as well. We had a large group and really enjoyed ourselves. I would be back for drinks and chips with the girls, a date, family dinner of any size.

I decided to stay in the city longer to check out this place. This restaurant is huge and the wait was 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. We used our waiting time to stroll through the Mercado across the way. Once the table was ready, my friend got a text. I always wanted to try menudo every Mexican restaurant I go to. But not until I saw the sign on the back cover. This restaurant is under the same owner as Pico de Gallo. Omg. I just had their menudo the day before. No thanks. I decided to order fajita chicken salad. The portion was really small. The food only filled a half of the fried salad bowl. I asked to put cheese on the side. It may had it look more but I don't eat cheese as much. I was glad that dressing was on the side. Which was too salty for me. So, if the food was the same as other chain, we could have eaten there which was closer to the hotel. But I noticed the difference was the servers. Our waitress was cuter and very polite. My friends kept teasing her. She kept good manner and responded back with a smile "uhhh no". Hahaha.

The hostess was a little drab but as I was walked in to be seated, you could feel the upbeat mood. Note that if you're dining solo, they will push hard to seat you at a dark diner type counter to stare at the kitchen area even if you have a reservation, so don't give in unless you're starving and that's your last resort. The colorful decor hits you and you're transported. I ordered the "Mexican Dinner" with chicken enchilada, pork tamal, beef taco with beans and rice. Also had a side order of fresh handmade tortillas. Paloma to wash it all down. Everything tasted great. My server was excellent. Patient and helpful with recommendations. The mariachi band was fun and they roamed the restaurant and bar to play, so chances are that if they aren't singing at your table then they're nearby.

Cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and love the pickled onions and lime on the side. My husband ordered the old fashioned, which he liked. I got the mezcal spritz which was 10/10 (and huge). They ran out of cheesecake so they gave us tres leches as a substitute--as a huge tres leches fan, this was even better. Both desserts were outstanding. 10/10 will be back if visiting San Antonio again Service was also exceptional--ask for Theresa!! Love the setting, definitely sit outside if you can! Leads to some concerns about the sanitation & cleanliness while birds are hanging out on half the empty tables and chairs. We could have moved inside and probably would if we visit again. The food was delicious and it is still a great place to try as long as your good with birds. My sister who joined us was a little leery of their presence the entire time.

There's such a wonderful selection, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. As parents with notoriously picky eaters, we especially appreciate how accommodating the staff is - it's such a relief to know that our kids can also find something yummy with just a quick chat with the staff member. That really makes a difference for a family outing! And oh my goodness, the appetizers are simply fantastic. We couldn't get enough! I also have to give a special shout-out to the Carrajillo I ordered. It was such a delightful surprise - perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, with a lovely citrusy kick that made it incredibly refreshing. Definitely a new favorite drink! We're already looking forward to our next visit to explore more of amazing menu. Just a little heads-up for anyone else, we realized on our way out that there's an extra parking lot right across the street if the main one fills up. Super handy to know!

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
