Don't suggest. Service is awful. They charge for every little thing, their food may start out cheap but u get what u pay for. Food is fine but anything else is a charge here and a charge there, bbq sauce for their plain chicken is .50 cents. This place is VERY mediocre. Wanted to try something different from Zankou and was very disappointing. To start, the restaurant smelled pretty bad when we walked in. The girl at the cashier was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I give the food a 2.5 star rating, the rest was a 1 star. Makes sense why they haven't been able to scale. Very disappointed. This place is nothing like what it used to be. I ordered a chicken kabob plate and a side of beef skewer. The skewer looked red still and I had to re cook it. My chicken kabobs also looked pink and felt rubbery. They slapped on the hummus in a hurry it looked like because I barely had any and they don't seasoning it anymore. ONE AND DONE! I have come here numerous times and have been satisfied. However, tonight I ordered the shawarma wrap that comes with a yogurt sauce. The sauce is delicious but I usually find that there isn't enough on my wrap so I ask for extra. The owner was there and I asked for a small side and he said he could sell me a full side of it but would not give me a small side. I was a little thrown off that he said no. I figured well maybe there will be enough on the wrap. Unfortunately, my wrap was pretty dry and disappointing. read more

We love Cicek's chicken, we've been eating at this place almost every week since they opened as Sevan's chicken. If we can eat everyday at this place or take out order we would LOL! This is how good the food is at Cicek's. We normally order the chicken and two sides, the salad is always fresh and crispy, the rice pilaf is perfect and the chicken is so pipping hot and delicious. I've tried many different Mediterranean chicken places and this by far is the best one. The chicken is always good and moist, the rice is very good, and the filet mignon plate is good too (although, I'm not sure if it's really filet mignon). Sometimes I'll get a baklava and I'll switch up my sides with the meals. There is enough parking, customer service is good, and you'll forget about places like Zankou. read more

I really wanted to like this restaurant. I enjoy patronizing independent restaurants. Unfortunately this was very disappointing. The falafel balls were very grainy in texture. (Hard on the outside, very grainy on the inside.) The chicken kabobs were less than great. The pita was very average, as well. Sad to say, we were very under-whelmed and will not be returning. As soon as you walk in to Cicek's you feel a very positive energy, it is a family owned business (from what I can tell) the owner who takes the order she is once of the nicest people I have ever came across at a restaurant. Now to the food... I've only tried their Rotisserie chicken and the flavors are on point, the sides are good, I've had the French fries, Rice and Babaganoosh. they have special deal buy 2 get one free. pricing is reasonable. Great food, I really like the lunch specials. The prices are very fair considering you get loads of food in return. This is the only place I know of where you can get 1/2 a chicken, two sides, 2 pita breads, and a choice of sauce for under 8$ and it all taste great! The only issue I have with this place is the service time. Everyone is friendly and accommodating, but I have waited some pretty lengthy times for my food. On a side note it's not fast food so I understand some things may take longer than others. Just be prepared and possibly call your order in ahead of time if you are on a 30-40min lunch break. read more

Overall good food but unpredictable experience-- they are just stuck at their options and anytime I change something -- for example hummus instead of garlic-- as a simple spread--they up charge me-- even if I also don't get other things-- it should be an even exchange. I order at least 3 times a month- and always I ask to make sure pita bread and spreads are in the bag- and always they "forget." Last week I ordered a chicken sandwich- paid extra for pickles and hummus to be put inside. When I sat to eat- there was no tomatoes - lettuce- or onions. They always charge extra when it services them- seriously!! 25 cents for each BBQ sauce- it's not even good BBQ sauce. Some employees are super sweet- others down right rude and unpleasant.
