Top notch Mediterranean food I've ever had. Don't be fooled by fast food decor...the food is amazing. Chicken kabobs were not only moist but packed full of flavor!!! The rice pilaf was moist as well and nice spices not to mention the roasted veggies (onions, bell peppers and tomatoes cut to the right size) on a kebab. Many times I've gone to other restaurants and don't even touch the huge tasteless tomato and rice pilaf. Surprisingly even the pickled radish or beet is delicious too. Great rotisserie chicken and if you go at dinner time, they have a great dinner deal of buy 2 of the half chicken and 2 sides meals, get a third free. So much food! The chicken is moist and flavorful, even before adding some of the garlic. I love their fries (steak fries cut) as one of my sides. Hummus could be a little more flavorful, but will do. The female cashier that I have encountered on a few occasions is what brings this review down in terms of sheer rudeness. I got confused ordering the dinner special, and basically got a handful of attitude, as if I should know what I was ordering. I found this place on Yelp and was excited to try it from its excellent rating, but I found the long wait and lack of space did not correspond to the food quality. The food was probably average, with a cold pita bread (as another reviewer mentioned) and the chicken was dry. This was after a 30 minute wait on a Saturday afternoon (3PM), with several people who got there earlier getting their orders before me. We couldn't find seating in the McDonald's-like style dining area, so we ended up eating it outside. I'm glad they're doing well, but it's not a restaurant experience I will be repeating. read more

I ordered the filet mignon and the chicken kabob plate. Both were delicious. The only thing that irritated me was that I had to purchase the sauce, which is ridiculous. I understand charging for extra sauce, but at least one sauce should come with the meals. I didn't dock a point because the sauce wasn't expensive. Otherwise, both plates were amazing! Wasnt very impressed. My coworker recommended this place and I decided to give it a try. I got Chicken cabob plate with side salad. Chicken was dry and some pieces had weird texture. Fat maybe? Apparently if you order the chicken it's really tasty and flavorful, but if you order the chicken sandwich it's really dry and flavorless. Took the fam to Cicek's and ordered the Filet Mignon kabobs for the wife and son, and I ordered the chicken bowl with an order of falafel. The filets were tender and flavorful, as was the chicken in the bowl. My only issue as compared to Zankou is, the falafel was soft and mushy(not completely cooked perhaps?) as opposed to light and crispy as with Zankou. The hummus was a bit bland, as as the dipping sauce. The garlic sauce in contrast, was great. One star off for the food being ready, but not delivered for many minutes until cold. Another star off for not having a fountain (bottled drinks were $1.50 each and no refills)... Will give another try and see how that goes! read more

I had ordered by phone in advanced a half hour earlier, a man cut in front of me from the middle east region (Lebanon, Armenia, Turkey, Iran) with an 15 plate order just orders the lady on the cashier from the same region and language, to pick up ignores any kind of manners. Not recommended. Did not get our money's worth. We bought the whole chicken which normally comes with pita breads. However, they were no where to be found. When we called to inquire, the man never offered to give the bread to us or make it up to us in our next trip. He actually asked what we wanted to do about it. Their chicken is better than zankou chicken. Their garlic butter is equally as good. I think hummus is not as good as zankou or others I've tried. I like their salad better because you can have with ranch and little kids will eat it too. Rice is yummy. I didn't think tabbouleh was as good. Well. Today is the last time I will order from this place. The 18 years old son of the owner, David, racially profiled me and my son. Used profanity in front of his father, my son and other clients directed towards me. He made a mistake on my phone order and forgot the rice. I sent my son back to ask for the rice. He sent my son out and said it's under the pita bread. I looked under the said bread and sent my son back to say that it's not under anything. He sent my son out again asking for the entire to-go container to verify that we are not lying about the 50 cents worth of rice. I now went in to speak with them. He started his profanity and asked me to leave. He said f you and f'ing leave the store. I then asked for my money back and returned the food. Customer service is very important in any business but especially in the restaurant business. If you make a mistake, own up to it. Say sorry and give a side of rice and make a client happy. He made comments about my age during his rant of profanity as well. Racism and ageism has no place in our society. read more
