Had so much fun here last night! You have the option of having a membership which has a $40 preauthorization fee, or you can start a tab which is what we decided to do. We put $20 on our card which was entirely more than enough for two people to play games. We were there for two hours continuously playing games and still have $12.75 left on our card. Whatever is left over stays on the card instead of reimbursing you so keep that in mind. Most games cost .25-.50 but there are a could that cost. $1 (mostly the pinball machines). Skeebowling is separate and costs $6 for a lane. All drinks come from a wall where you pour your own & they have an awesome selection. read more

Terrible- went with a group to play some games and try some beers and the process to do so was SO confusing. Associate did not explain card system well and placed all of the 60$ being split between all our drinks and games on one card ONLY for games (which are like 25 cents each to play btw). A manager had to come out and try and resolve the situation, but in fact just made it even worse by splitting the money on the game card into four separate 15$ cards JUST for food. Terrible communication and system and the verdict is still out for the actual amount that will be charged on the card. So be careful! read more

This is a great place to try for a fun night out. We went last Saturday with a couple other people. Although it was fairly busy, we were able to easy social distance, play all the games we wanted and eat without feeling crowded. Food was good and service was excellent. The idea behind everything sounds cool but their execution was terrible and we will probably not return. If you go JUST to play games your experience will most likely be different. Beer comes out of the tap 75% foam which is a huge waste of money when you pay per ounce. Kitchen literally ran out of food at 7pm, all they had left was soft pretzels. They had significant network issues so everything was difficult to accomplish. They should've just not opened that day. Overall very disappointed especially compared to Pixels which is also nearby and has their stuff in order. read more

They charge extra money for holding. It doesn't make sense. My receipt was $20 dollars, but my bank statement says they took out $40. Also, the employees seemed unenergetic, and bothered to be there. We had a great time checking out the games. They are priced perfectly. The beer selection was terrific, and everywhere we went the staff was friendly and helpful. At check-out, I asked for a reciept. I didn't understand the beer pricing, and being a visual person, I wanted to look at the reciept. Whoa! That was the wrong thing to ask! The poor clerk had no idea how to print a reciept. She waved over the manager, and he was a total jerk about the process. He refused to help his employee and simply snarled at me before storming out the front door. The clerk apologized and offered to call a different manager. I had no idea something as simple and standard as a reciept would cause the staff to switch from friendly to nasty. Our visit was a quick in-and-out to get a feel for the place. Of the $20 we put on the game card, we have $15 remaining. The idea was to come back on another day, load that card and enjoy some beer and games when we had more time. Social Circuit made it obvious we are not welcome. read more

Was super excited to try this place because there's not many other places like it. We come in and have zero idea how it works. The woman at the desk explains the whole thing and made it fairly simple. Loved the delve serve beer kegs and went right for drinks. Ordered food (wings and dip) - your order via an iPad around the floor and when it's ready, you retrieve it from the kitchen counter. We waited an hour. Ridiculous. During this time, multiple kegs were kicked and it was only 9pm!! When we notified an employee, he didn't make eye contact and responded with 'K' & walked away. At 50 minutes and still no food, I walked to the kitchen and they asked me what I ordered and brought me the dip with curly fries and plain wings - when I said that's not what we ordered they asked again what I ordered. 2 orders of wings - regular and boneless. Was given the boneless and asked AGAIN the rest of the order. Was then provided another boneless. I was over it at that point and walked away. Not much service is needed at this place and they still failed miserably. We won't be back. read more

Despite the setup with the taps being really neat, I would NEVER go back or advise anyone else to partake. We went with a small group, and felt like we all were robbed. You pay for drinks and games on the front end, but they have NO METHOD OF REFUNDING YOUR MONEY. if you swipe for a game and if doesn't work, too bad. If you share a card with your husband and drink more than 32oz of beer (less than 3 beers, mind you) then your card gets shut off from drinks and games until you wait in the line of people to prove you aren't drunk for them to reactivate your card. Our friend spent $48 on bowling games that never played, never worked, and the staff and manager on duty said "sorry but we don't give refunds". We lost out on $45 that we preloaded on drinks and food because the card cut off and we decided to leave and they took our card from us saying they'd figure out a way to give us our money back, but never did. Was so excited to come here, my wife and I love places like this. The games were okay, more old school games than anything which is cool if you're into that but they didn't have much else. We ordered food and waited an hour before having to go up and ask the kitchen because we only ordered wings. They asked us what we ordered twice and still got it wrong, not sure how that even happened. The beer cap is 32 oz and then you have to ask an employee to reset your card... which is kind of silly if you ask me especially since it's not easy to find someone to help you. The beers were out and whenever I TRIED to find an employee to help with the whole beer situation I was purposefully given the cold shoulder. The concept is amazing here but the little customer service they have to provide is lacking terribly. read more

Circuit Social-Perhaps you can begin to improve by not mistreating your customers. My daughter and her bf who both most recently turned 21, were both treated as if they were stowaways aboard a pirate ship. While it is appropriate to adhere to policy and determine whether a customer legally of age to drink, it is preposterous that personnel from your establishment snatch the tap card and then continue the humiliation by not conversing with the paid clientele but instead in plain view, talk with other employees as if it were a tribunal. I recommend additional training first, in how to evaluate IDs for entrance to your establishment. Second, in communication of the purported customer service issue. And lastly, once it was determined that clearly your employee was incorrect, perhaps at the minimum an apology and/or something gratis as show of true repentance. read more

This place is obviously still working out the kinks but is such a cool concept and great fun. We came here a few weeks ago in the middle of the day and left around 5:30. They have so many fun games, and the self serve beer is so cool. Although getting to pour your own beer is so fun, the system they use is glitchy and unfortunately the taps pour too much foam. We were told that you only pay for liquid, not foam as their system knows what is beer and what is foam but we quickly realized that was incorrect as I hit my 32 oz limit on two pours that were both less than half filled with beer. My boyfriend ended up actually getting a free pour because of this issue and an employee realizing it was literally all foam and about 4-5 oz of beer. It obviously will be more expensive than if you were to get that same beer anywhere else but it's the concept and the fun in getting to pour your own that makes it worth it! We didn't try the bowling or eat there, but the games are super fun and we will definitely be back soon! read more

I went to Circuit Social this past Saturday night for the first time and had a fantastic time! Although the beer taps were out of whack for a bit, the service was great and accommodating. People tend to forget that this bar has only been open for a couple of weeks and that kinks are still being worked out... the staff tried to make the best of the situation and took care of the guests, BJ in particular! He was fantastic and helped our party get closed out, even though it was not his responsibility. read more

Go to Pixels instead. I promise you'll have a 100x better experience than here. The games are the same, if not better, and the service is so much more friendlier. Every other review you read about the trash employees and service here? Yeah all of those are true. It's one thing to be unenthusiastic about working at a loud barcade on a Friday night, it's another to actually be rude to customers who are minding their business. The glasses for the drinks are all put out on a shelf and you just grab them and fill up. I always check my glasses, especially if they're put out in the open like that where anyone can touch them. So I raised my glass up in the light so I could see if there were any marks on them showing they've been used, and then this one rude employee walks by and starts commenting loudly as he's walking by about me checking the glass. How does this bother you in anyway? I'm minding my business taking my own precautions like not saying a word to you. The same employee was being rude when I first got there trying to separate one check-in line into two...he was clapping loudly at us trying to get our attention like we were children...it's loud as hell in there, no one even sees you so of course we're not gonna here you calling us over. No need for the attitude. The drink selection is mediocre. Nothing good. One glass of wine is $8. If you don't care about the money, go to Dave and Busters for a better experience and better games. Also big issue here: my total was $18 for the whole night ($10 for games, $8 for a glass of wine) and my card has a $40 charge on it......why are they charging me $40???????????? So this place just opened up and already is plagued with many issues. Swiping a card for everything is a novel idea but swiping is the only game in town. The games are advertised as 25-75 cents but in reality many of them are a dollar or more. Big buck says 50 cents but is actually 2 or more dollars per shooter and only tells you after you swipe. Skee ball is classic however many of the machines are missing many of their balls. So your game is over after you bowl all five. A good 30% of the game aren't even working! And some two player shooting games have one gun offline so it's only played by one player! What's the point then?? The fighting games seem to have the difficulty turned up to 11. I watched my buddy get absolutely handled in mortal Kombat II. I mean level one fight. He couldn't lay a hand on the computer. Two flawless rounds and the computer remains champ. Took about 15 seconds to get a game over from the swipe. Also the pinball game I wanted to play was missing the yanker (the thing you pull back to launch the ball) it's hard to understand why a brand new arcade bar is so dismantled right out the gate! So apart from the games, I was looking forward to trying the food however come to find out the kitchen is closed. I wanted a beer and wings but no have wings? No want BEER. And also the bowling is 6$ PER PERSON. You don't even get a full ten frames! And turns out the money you loaded on your card for games can't be used to pay for bowling! Very confusing! Bottom line is it feels like everything is designed to take advantage of all the chumps and their money. Self serve beer to turn off you brain and swipe swipe swipe! Had heard great things about the Circuit in Richmond and am very disappointed here. Guess I'll stick to Dave and busters and their rowdy children. read more
