This bbq food was amazing!! The sides were delicious too and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. I substituted a meat and they messed up my order but had no problem switching it back out quick for me and were very kind! Great chain for good bbq food!

Have you tried the pork belly? This is a must. I love it ! 10/10 My comfort protein meal is always gonna be here. This location is good. Never too crowded for me (dinner most of the time - weekday)

I've been here several times and it's usually decent. The food comes quickly and it is ok. This visit the greens were a a little off. Just really salty like they had been there awhile. The brisket is good as is the pulled pork. The sausage is decent too. Sometimes the brisket is a little loose. The service is counter style and you take your tray to a seat. I find the service friendly and efficient. They restaurant is clean sometimes the sauce station is a little un tidy.

I was craving barbecue and decided to stop at City Barbeque. I ordered the party pack for 4 to 6 people and a brisket sandwich to go. They had my order up in about five minutes and I was out the door. Overall, it was a great experience.

The greeter is very pleasant and very helpful too The menu has everything you could ask for at a bar b q chain. Service is quick and efficient. The brisket sandwich was a good proportion and quite flavorful. I'm not a fan of how the brisket is basically chopped not sliced. The Mac and cheese is good but not great. Just lacks some flavor.

City Barbeque is always a great dining experience. Friendly service at the Carmel location, great food and a nice and casual ambience. Tonight's trip included a full rack of ribs & the juiciest turkey sandwich I've ever had!! And we got great 1999-era pricing on their special anniversary day menu (9/25/24). Definitely will get that turkey again, it was delicious!!

We really enjoy coming here following the smoked brisket. A big shout out to Austin who is always so good to us when we come in.

Pulled Chicken with Provolone cheese, potato salad, and hush puppies

I decided I was in the mood for City BBQ for dinner tonight because I have always enjoyed the food from City BBQ. As always, it did not disappoint me at all. I ordered the pulled Chicken with Provolone cheese, no bun, with a side of potato salad and hush puppies. It was excellent and my perfect comfort food for the evening. City BBQ provides excellent BBQ and sauces, plus they know how to prepare barbecue to perfection! Their customer service is always on point and they treat everyone that comes through the door with kindness and care. This is my #1 go to place for barbecue whenever I am in the mood for BBQ for dinner because it is just prepared with such love and generosity to your taste buds. You will never go wrong with City Barbecue, so go out and get some BBQ from them one night for dinner. It is worth it!

Tried calling the location and it's all automated... my wife's meal and appetite ruined...

    peach cobbler

I usually enjoy getting my BBQ fix from this location. Service is prompt and friendly. My regular orders include a pulled pork sandwich, Nashville hot chicken, brisket, and sausage. However, I was slightly disappointed with the side dishes today. The collard greens were too salty and overcooked. The potato salad had too much mayo and its texture resembled mashed potatoes. Lastly, the peach cobbler was the worst item I ordered; it was too sweet and sticky.

I can't believe that I haven't reviewed City Barbecue yet, as I stop by here on a fairly regular basis. Prior to COVID, I had dined inside but during COVID I have taken advantage of their excellent curbside carry out. Service is always great and the food is excellent. City BBQ is perfect whether I am picking up a quick lunch for myself or ordering for a large group. My favorite lunch order is the three sides plate. Their sides are all so delicious that I have trouble deciding which ones to choose. Home style potato salad, green beans, corn casserole, slaw, and many more all taste like they came out of my grandmother's kitchen. The French fries are served hot and fresh and are some of my favorite fries. Try dipping them in BBQ sauce.

If you love barbecue? This is the place to be and lots of room to sit! The ribs and pull pork (2 meats) is what I ordered. It comes with two sides. I comes with a ranch like bread, buttered and grilled....nice, very nice! My two sides were corn bread and green beans and bacon...did I say, "BACON!" Dang!!! This is yummy-licious!!! Barbecue sauces are original or sweet and spicy. I had the original. It had a slight kick and tangy. It's a place to be!!! I definitely will bring my Hawaiian friends! I'm in heaven... The inside ambiance was so friendly. No waiters.,.order and sit down. Oh?! I've been here for a week. This Hawaiian girl is checking out the best places to eat!!! Aloha, everyone!

This was a decent spot to eat. The texture of pulled pork and brisket were really good. My daughter enjoyed her sandwich. The Mac and cheese was not liked. No one liked the cornbread either.

    Excellent place to eat.

The BBQ poutine fries were so big on the tray that I felt a little ostentatious as I was carrying the tray back to my table. It felt like all of the food on my tray surely should have been going to a family. But no: All of these BBQ poutine fries were just for one gluttonous person (me). Every so often, I would get an enormous fry that was way bigger than the others. It was more like a steak fry! It was like a little baked potato. It was nice to have that variety in the appetizer (which I was treating like an entree because, again, I was eating this giant appetizer by myself without shame). One of my children opted to get the kids meal here, which is the mac & cheese with a side (he chose fries). The mac & cheese is cavatappi pasta, so it's that pleasing curly texture that kids love (my kid loved it). The Den by FoxGardin is located inside Sun King Food Hall, and it's one of the food options you have here. If you are looking for pub food, comfort food, or just plain good food, you can't go wrong with this place.

We sat at a high top table in the bar. Our server, Bailey (the bartender), was friendly and super attentive. She made recommendations and kept glasses filled. The craft beer selection is excellent with about 16 local options on tap. My husband had a Fall City "Hipster Repellent". The name alone is interesting, but he loved his beer. I had the Espresso Martini which came with roasted coffee beans floating on top. My cocktail went down easy. I also had a glass of the Berringer Chardonnay. The pour is generous. We shared a plate of Loaded Tots, which was wonderful. The tots are made from scratch in-house and covered with roasted bits of pork belly, cheese, a sauce and green onions. We LOVED the tots, which came out super hot. We also shared a plate of the Loaded Hummus. The plate is beautiful and colorful. The hummus is fresh made and loaded with bits of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and is delicious on a balsamic reduction. The hummus is served with a generous portion of fresh in-house made focaccia bread which tasted amazing. The Loaded Hummus is a winner in my book. Bailey our server was fabulous. She worked the entire bar and was an ambassador of the chef and menu. I wish we had time to stay for dinner because the food is outstanding. Each dish that we saw pass by looked delicious and artistic. I highly recommend. We will be returning for dinner soon. Easy 5 stars! We found street parking, but parking was limited.

We always enjoyed the blue cheese potatoes, gnocchi, and perogies, but in particular we very much miss the crab and roasted artichoke toast, which was unlike anything we have had anywhere else and may have been my favorite dish going anywhere. We are grateful at least that they haven't eliminated the pretzels, which are also unique from any other (although we miss the cheese ball it used to be served with). We had the crab cakes and crab & artichoke dip for apps and our lunch entrees were the fried catfish sandwich with fries and the filet with mashed potatoes and collard greens. For bevvies, we tried their rosé and red zeppelin English ale. All of it, every bit and bite, was 10/10. Food breakdown: - Crab cakes: succulent lump crap meat within a lightly battered and flash fried coating. They come on a bed of arugula with a light dressing and dipping sauce for the cakes. Super yummy! - Crab & artichoke dip: ooey gooey deliciousness, perfect balance of cheese sauce too. You don't have to search for the crab or artichokes. And the fried naan chips were sliced long and thin, and could've been called naan fries actually. Perfect companion for the dip. - Fried catfish sammich: the piece of fish was huge and the batter was good. It came on Texas toast with fixins and tartar sauce. Won't lie, the only thing I wanted for was some hot sauce. That's a me problem... just gotta have hot sauce when I eat fried fish but I didn't ask for any while I was there (they may offer it) and still very much enjoyed the sandwich. - Filet: it was great... hubby got it medium and it arrived perfectly cooked. The Demi glaze sauce was so good and so were the sides. Their collard greens are seasoned up! I said does my auntie work here?! This cuisine is so comfortingly southern and didn't disappoint. Shoutout to our friendly and helpful server, Dan... our food and drinks came out quickly and so did our to-go box. His service was truly top notch. We have been living in Carmel for 5 years and this is one of the best restaurants here. If you're on the fence about trying this place, jump off and make a reservation. You won't regret it.

The servings were very hearty especially for the prices. All in our party agreed they would definitely return and happily order the same dish although there are many items on the menu we all want to try.
