Worst car dealer 've ever been to: 1- called in to morning to see if a Honda Pilot is there or not. They said it is. I ask for directions, they say get off the train and it is in 2 blocks. Lie. Itwas a mile away. 1B- Walked in and waited for 45 mins to find a salesman to talk to me. 2-He says go out and find the car. He is not even willing to walk me to it. 3-Walked on the lot 3 times the car isn't there! 4-Go back in, and tell them that I can not find the car. The sales guy mid 40's middle eastern accent) says if the car isn't there, they do not have the car. I ask him to pull the car up on the computer, he refuses, saying, if the car isn't there, they do not have it. So I call the 800 number, and talk to a phone specialist and she says that the car is there!! 5- walk back in, and the same sales idiot says that the phone support does not know what they are talking about. He says if the car isn't on the lot, they do not have it. (Obviously it would be impossible to have a manager be driving it or someone else test driving it) 6-Then another sales guy comes in and says, we have the same model one year newer. Well, I've been to that lot 3 times, and they do not have any other honda Pilots. I say you do not have any honda Pilots on the lot and he says of course we do. Well which one is it? Do you have the car although it is not in the lot or do you not have the car if it is not on the lot. A complete mess. No customer service, rude, long waiting times, they do not know what cars they have and what cars they don't and they advertise for cars they do not have. They cost me $40 in train ticket fees and 5 hours of my life that I will never get back... read more

Purchased a 2022 F250 over the internet working with Peter my Sales person and Ahmed in Finance both worked great as a team and obviously the Manager Anthony Santi respects the customers request especially coming as far away as Florida to the Bronx making sure Peter had everything he needed when he picked my wife and I up at the airport "on Peters day off" and making sure we had the best experience possible. over my 59 years walking this earth traveling all over the world retired Navy, the last place I ever expected to purchase a New truck was NY Bronx, from all the tv news and movies we were wondering if this was our worst mistake ever to regret. My wife and I have purchased in 7 different states over the last 40 years together and no other team and especially Sales person Peter has come close to our experience. if I purchase another new car the first place I'm looking in World City Ford, not Tampa Florida or anywhere in Florida. I went to the dealership on a Saturday around 1PM to check out a pre-owned Lexus. Even though the name is City World FORD, they carry other manufactured vehicles. I drove 30 miles and paid a $7.50 toll to get to the Bronx. Once I got to the dealership I was greeted by an associate. I asked for a test drive and everything was amazing. I asked for the price even thought it was on cars.com for $31,995, the representative told me $36,999.00 I was shocked!. I showed him the AD and he said okay I can give you the car for this price, ONLY if you finance with us. There was a huge dent on the car and the rear tires had no thread life on them. I asked the manager if he would take care of those two things and he said he would take care of those two things. We shook hands and we started the paperwork. The General Manager comes and says I can't sell the car for $31,500 because he's losing money and told me he's not fixing the dent or replacing the tires. He also added another $1,500 for a dealer fees to the price of the vehicle. I was pissed because of the time I spent. What a waste of time!!!! I ended up buying the care from Lexus of Queens, where they don't have a $1,500 dealer fee. read more

When i arrived I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner by the receptionist. The salesman Jamie Brown was absolutely attentive and courtesy, answering all my questions and concerns from start to finish. He handle my sale with a smile, and was extremely helpful in every way possible. Every option and feature listed for the vehicle was exactly what was in this vehicle. There was no bait and switch or attempt to sell me anything that I was not comfortable with. This experience has renewed my faith in the car sales industry. This is the worst place if you need anything I needed a part from Ford and they said this is the biggest dealer in the area, I called to ask about the price and they gave me a price triple of other ford dealers. I explained that other ford dealers have a lower price but is back ordered. They said we will match their price and we should have the part within a week. After a week called them everyday. It's hard to get through to the parts department. Left numerous messages emails for an update. They put in hold over 45 minutes and transfer to the front Desc. After few days attempting to get a hold of the manager Roger which I couldn't get a hold of him. They called me today with an attitude and they said part is back ordered and don't know when they get it. I can't imagine how they run a business with no communication skills. Originally when I made my appointment I thought I had requested to wait for my car while my airbag was replaced, and it was not until I went to drop off my car that I was informed that I would need to leave my car for the day. Finding this out was a huge inconvenience to me as it was my day off and needed to run my errands for the week, understanding my concerns my service advisor Gilda, and my technician Kevin, and team at City World Ford did an amazing job getting my car back to me within 4 hours of my drop off time. Me and my husband bought the car from this dealership, they was not so bad as other dealerships. Salesman Erik was great, he was nice and professional but I can't tell the same about the managers. We chose the model that we liked, we agreed the price but after 45 min waiting they tell us that the car was sold, they told us that they can call that costumer and cancel transaction if we will pay extra 1000$. After 30 min discussions manager told us that we can get this car. 30 min later he told us that this exact car was damage by tree last night and they can't sold us it. And we supposed to chose another model, because we left deposit already. This managers want to take all your money, they don't care about costumers!!! read more

I was very satisfied by the new level headed manager (Chris Urena) that took my vehicle in for a quick oil change. I am also grateful to another new service adviser, Ramzi, a cosumate professional in the discharge of his duties. Many would have declined my walkin but he went ahead and accepted my Hybrid Ford escape even without any prior appointment. I had wish the tech (Kevin Murray) who attended to my vehicle was more detailed in his multi-point check (like resetting oil change to 100% and diagnosing the noises from the front end when steering right or left) than simply changing the oil. DONT BUY the EXTENDED WARRANTY. Ive been trying to cancel my Extended Service Contract for almost 2 months. since I sold my vehicle (Another story). City World, not Ford as you would think, must approve and reimburse the unused portion of the contract. So given City World's credibility im sure you see the issue. I cannot even get a call back, let alone an excuse. Im contacting Ford Motor Company to start a formal complaint. I also intend to report to the Better Business Bureau and the NY State Attorney General. No doubt they have received numerous complaints against them in the past, look at their reviews. We had seen three different cars with dead batteries, had people try to sell us cars that were double our budget, and literally test-drove a car that has a busted engine. But we finally made it to City World Ford! When you go, just ask for Erick, seriously he's the best. My sister and her husband went to this place to get a ford edge. The salesman hardly spoke any English and his people skill in Spanish or English were non existent. They first made my sister feel like she was there to beg for a car, then lie to her about the price and the monthly payment. It was like a mobster movie in which you feel been force to accept the deal or else.then she gave a down payment and they got angry that she asked for a refund receipt.
