How did I never try this restaurant ever before until now?! It was such a spontaneous choice to come in a try, and I'm so glad we did! The sauce is what impressed me the most, it was exceptionally delicious with the perfect amount of tang. Some parts of the meat could have been better, less fatty, but still majority of the rib was tender and great. There was a nice lady who took our order, letting us know they've been in this same location for 35 years now! The ambiance here also gets 2 thumbs up, very comfortable and artistic inside! If you are ever in the area, definitely stop by

Really good ribs. I thought the price was fair and you got good portions. The meat was super tender and came off the bones pretty easily. It was really well seasoned and the bbq sauce really brought it together. The garlic bread was nice and toasted as well. I had the baked beans which were kidney, which I thought was a bit odd as I don't usually see those in baked beans. The Korean lady who owns the place is extremely kind and really sweet. Overall really good

When I last came I noticed their hours said they opened at 11:30am but they came and opened at 12:00pm. The owner was still setting up and told me they weren't opened but she ended up saying she could take my order and proceeded in making it. The pork ribs are so tender and falls off the bone. They boil their meats and then grill them. The sauce is on the sweeter side and I like that the ribs aren't completely drenched in it. The garlic bread tasted like it was pre-made and reheated. It was tough and chewy. The sausage link tasted like kielbalsa. The potato salad isn't too creamy. They had a few tables but were pushed against the wall so I'm unsure if they needed to set them out or if dining in was an option. The restrooms were blocked off for sure.

Called to order Western Set A over the phone on a Sunday afternoon and came to pick it up 20 minutes later. Paid at the register really quickly and left with minimal contact to other people. Cashier wore face mask properly. The food came with 12 pork ribs (we asked for sauce on the side), 4 pieces of chicken, potato salad, beans, and 5 pieces of garlic bread. Ribs were meaty and flavorful; potato salad was really tasty - right balance between sweet and savory, soft with a bite to it; beans were too salty; garlic bread was good - huge pieces (felt like we got a whole loaf of bread); chicken was also good and juicy. Overall, good food that's a great value! Fed three people and we had plenty leftover so good for a family of four. Worth a try if you are craving bbq and want to support a local business during COVID.

I'm glad I did and was definitely delighted by the experience. Hot Stone Bibimbap 5/5: There was a review on Yelp saying that there was no crunchy rice at the bottom and that it was bland. As a fellow Korean, let me give you some advice. Wait a few minutes and let the rice cook more because the stone bowl is still hot. lift up the bottom until you see crunchy bits and then you could start mixing. Excellent mix of seasoned vegetables and rice. They give you the gochujang bottle sauce on the side. you can adjust it to your level. Soon Tofu Soup 5/5. I've had a lot of tofu soup of what I like about this one is that it had a good balance of tofu, kimchi was not super sour like some restaurants and they give you an egg on the side. Very clean finish. Banchan 5/5: The highlight for me was the banchan. I went with a very picky eater friend and she really loved the kimchi ,the cucumber kimchi ,the fish cakes, japchae. They put a lot of effort into making the banchan - which I recognize right away. They also fill up if you run out and the dishes are larger than normal restaurants. Amazing. You read my mind. Interior 4/5: It is a smaller, more intimate seating.( about 25-30 people) . It still has the vibes of of a Korean eatery with K-pop music playing on the TV screen, wooden benches and chairs. You'll have to wait a bit if you go during peak hours and parking is a bit difficult. I suggest going within the first hour they open up when there's less crowds.

For the cold noodles, it was pretty refreshing and a bit light in flavor. It came in a icy vinegary broth with noodles, half a boiled egg, pickled daikon and some pieces of galbi (short rib). Also had option of adding more vinegar and/or mustard if you wanted. The noodles were chewy but that's how it is, recommend asking for some scissors to cut the noodles if it's hard to chew. For the spicy buckwheat cold noodles, it had much more flavor, had a gochujang base, and thicker. It came with half a boiled egg, pickled daikon and pieces of galbi. For the tofu soup, we got the chicken and mushroom which was fine. In addition, the sides were good as well. Service was good.

We ordered the beef soup and the appetizer short ribs, which is about 6 pieces. The sides were good, special shout out to the warm jjapchae! The short ribs came out sizzling, and had a great char with a sweet soy sauce flavor. Meat was tender and had the perfect chew to it, such a comfort meal with the rice. The beef soup came boiling, and there was a generous amount of beef, mushrooms, and tofu. The only complaint I have is the soup ratio was less than what I'm used to so about halfway through the pot there wasn't much soup left to pour onto the rice the way I normally do. But that's not a bad thing, means you're getting more protein! Service was great, but it's a bit expensive from what I'm used to so I docked a star. I'll check out other places and see if this is just the normal pricing for the area.

He said it's more tasty with the cheese on it. Other than the meat, I'm not sure if I would come here for soup. The clear soups I've gotten here are so-so. They lack in flavor and taste very bland-- wasn't worth the money. I highly recommend coming here with a party of three or more. The mild galibijjim was delicious with the cheese on top. The sauce was perfectly salty for pouring over rice, though it wasn't spicy at all (so will probably get the medium next time). The meat was tender and juicy and there was so much of it as well. The base dish came with rice cakes but I should have ordered extra as most of it was gone half way through the meal. The Mul Naengmyeon was cold and refreshing, especially after eating the galbijjim. The restaurant itself is pretty small so the waiters do try to rush you along in order to turn over the tables, but they also worked very hard to make sure your meal was satisfying. They also packed away the left overs in a heat sealed container so it wouldn't spill in the car and keeps for a while in your fridge. Overall a very pleasant experience if you come early enough and don't have to wait in line.

The first two times were great -- they served a wide variety of banchan and the seafood tofu soup was packed with fresh shrimp, clams, octopus, mussels, and squid. My daughter also loved the galbijjim. On our third visit, we arrived right at 5 PM and were told they would open shortly because the cook was on lunch. We waited until 5:20 and they still weren't serving, so we ended up leaving. Our most recent visit was the last straw. They only offered two types of banchan (not even kimchi), and they were out of all dishes that included meat or beef. It was surprising for a Korean restaurant to not have Korean BBQ or short ribs available. My seafood tofu soup barely had any seafood, and I had to point out to the waiter that there was no shrimp at all. He later returned with a cheap frozen seafood mix and said they use a seafood mix, which was disappointing considering the higher quality seafood they used to serve (including head-on shrimp). They also did not serve the usual purple rice this time -- instead we were given dry white rice that seemed reheated. There was only one server handling all the tables and cleaning, so service was slow. It's disappointing because the quality used to be much better. I have many fond memories of dining here. The food is still excellent. We ordered the tofu and chicken bubbling soup along with the bibimbap, and everything was delicious. The quality of the food is definitely a reason I would return. Unfortunately, the service was very inconsistent. There were two servers during our visit. One was incredibly kind, professional, attentive, and welcoming. She checked on us, offered more side dishes, and was very sweet with my six-year-old son. I even thanked her personally at the end of the meal because her hospitality stood out. The other server, however, made the experience uncomfortable. From the moment we arrived, there was no warm greeting -- we were simply asked how many were in our party. We were seated at a very small table, and when I politely asked if we could move to a larger one since we were ordering multiple dishes with sides and I had my young son with me, she looked visibly annoyed. Throughout the meal, she kept making faces when I asked normal questions about the menu or requested an extra to-go box. These were simple customer requests, and her reactions felt rude and unnecessary. I also noticed that several other reviews mention a woman making faces during service, and based on my experience, I believe this may be the same server. That kind of behavior really affects the dining experience and should be addressed by management. Hospitality matters, especially in a restaurant setting. Good food is important, but customers should also feel welcome and respected. Overall, I would come back because the food was delicious, and the other server was genuinely lovely. However, I hope the owner takes the service concerns seriously. If I return, I would likely ask to be seated with the kind server who made us feel welcome.
