Honestly, if you have not tried their Denver Sunrise Bagel, you have not lived. Freshest bagel with freshest ingredients in town, or the county, or even the country. I had it the first time and then never stopped coming here. Try it, you will love it! This was an unexpected surprise. I ordered the Cali Veggie Bagel with added ham ($1 extra). By description it's just a bagel with avocado and cream cheese, but taking the first bite it was more than that. The avocado is seasoned with enough lemon pepper that makes this entire breakfast both healthy and delicious. Definitely coming back again!! read more

Was in the market for a new easy, inexpensive food spot and can't complain. My lox and bagel was quite delicious. As someone who is taking COVID seriously, I think it's important to note that they are running a small scale crew, have hand sanitizer available for clients, put up a glass partition between customers and the register, and are no longer offering inside dining. That said, be prepared for things to run a little slower. If you don't want to wait around, they do take online orders and are pretty accurate with how long things will take, which I found to be super helpful. They are also extremely serious about only serving customers who are wearing masks and social distancing, which I respect (and appreciate!) whole heartedly. It is important to note though, that while I was inside the restaurant one of their employees wore an ill fitting mask so I hope they will make sure to hold their team to the same standards as their customers, which I unfortunately had to factor into the number of stars. read more

Been here a few times. I found this place by accident, actually. Tried to go to John's place which is in the same parking lot, but they don't open early so I went to this place instead. GREAT bagels, GREAT latte's! The first time I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese, simple but really good! The second time I was with my girlfriend and she ordered the ham, egg and cheese bagel and I ordered the feta omelette. Both were great and reasonably priced. This is a small place, private owned and that's exactly what I was looking for. I plan to go back many times in the future. read more

CJ Cappuchino is a charming indoor/outdoor cafe with a lovely menu of lattes and fancy bagels. Many people are regulars, and the staff, headed by Alex, are good natured and kind. The atmosphere is soothing and enjoyable, and the drinks are delicious. I highly recommend the (iced) Frozen Hot Chocolate. The lox and cream cheese bagel is also very yummy. read more

So I found this place and the first time it was great! The food was good and the coffee was really good. The second and third time they messed up both times! I waited 15 min for my food and when I asked they had left it in the microwave! Then the second time I ordered a coffee and waited 10 min to find out they forgot to make it! When I got the coffee it was wrong but at that point I had to leave! Unfortunately I won't be returning, they should really consider hiring a more efficient staff. read more

I will always choose Cyrano's coffee shop, a 2 minute drive from CJ's, over this one. The drinks are way overpriced and the staff was unfriendly to me. I'd rather give my money to people who treat customers with respect. Their bagels are good, but you can also find them at Cyrano's (and Bagel Me). Not worth it, in my opinion! read more

This is a great little place for early morning coffee or lunch. We were looking for a place to get a sandwich so we stopped in here to give it a try. Most of the time this place is great, but there has been 2 times that we have been given the wrong order. Instead of them correcting the order, the owner has very angrily blamed us for it being wrong! I have not experienced such treatment at many places. I let it go after the first time and decided to keep giving them my business, but after it happening a second time I won't be returning. One of the cashiers even secretly came up and apologized for how the owner reacted. read more

I used to always go to CJ's when I was in the area. Recently however I had two experiences that were very frustrating. Both times after placing my order they promptly forgot about me. The last time this happened, I had ordered a California Sunrise smoothie and, after paying, sat there and watched customers come and go while I sat waiting for my order, that never came. I got up and mentioned to the girl behind the counter that I never got my smoothie, and she offered to ring me up again for the same smoothie. When I told her I already paid, the owner had to look up my order to verify what I was saying, then the girl offered to get the order started. I told them to just give me my money back I couldn't wait any longer. No apologies were offered by the girl behind the counter or the owner. Barring these two incidents I would have given CJ's five stars. read more
