Wow!! This company is the best! We had a leak in our home that flooded the entire first floor. We were put in touch with Dillion and Daniel. Daniel has been out at our house everyday working on fixing the leak and drying out the damage. He has been helping us so much by letting others in the house and managing the plumber and furniture restoration. Daniel has made our really bad situation, as easy as possible. He's the best! This company was recommended from AAA insurance company after I experienced water damage. The quality of work was horrible, and the job was never completed. Flooring was not installed properly throughout the home (as confirmed by an outside inspector), and they have never owned up to providing a resolution/restitution. The say they will take care of things and then string you along. Bad business! After 6 months of trying to get the company to fix the problem, then being offered a cash out to not have to fix the faulty installation, I was told the project manager Daniel Monroy no longer works there. Had to start all over with Gary Marcellus. Sent all the information requested, photos, outside inspection report, etc. and I am still awaiting a resolution (for almost a year in total!) I would absolutely NEVER EVER hire this company. Not only did they leave my home in worse condition than before the water damage, they refuse to do the right thing and honor their word. Eddy and his team did a great job and quickly finished the restoration of our kitchen that had a water leak and mold damage! They showed up on time and finished the work quickly and and took care of every detail in returning our kitchen back to it's original state. They also fixed the hole in our stucco (associated with the leak) and holes in the drywall due to the re-piping. They took care of all of the details and re-installed cabinets/counter tops and baseboard. Had some water damage and a couple firms were recommended by my insurance, one of which was this business. Did what I always do and checked Yelp reviews. They only had a few and one negative. I wanted to get a couple of estimates and proceeded with them and another. The first interaction with the rep was a sign of things to come, he was late and somehow thought an agreed upon time of eight a.m. meant he could show up anytime between eight and nine. An hour late, he proceeds with the estimate. It went downhill from there - hard to get ahold of, math that didn't add up and the inability to find the flooring I wanted at the supplier next door even though I found it right away when I met him there. With these red flags piling up, I called to express my concern and never heard back from the rep. I moved on. read more

I experienced a flood in my condo. I used two separate companies for the Mitigation and then the Repair from a AAA approved company (CLASSIC RESTORATION). My Project Manager was Eddy Perez. Overall Eddy did an excellent on the project. It was On-Budget, Finished On-Time and Eddy is an excellent communicator by text messaging ( my preferred method) even responding on weekends. Back in January 2020 we had a leak in our upstairs bathroom causing water damage in the ceiling of the dining room below. Our insurance company had chosen a construction company to make the repairs and by August they still could not complete the job successfully. I encouraged my insurance company to choose another contractor. That's when Classic Restoration and our project manager Eddy Perez came to the rescue. In 4 days they fixed what the first construction company couldn't in 8 months! Eddy came in, determined what needed to get done and his crew arrived within a couple days and worked professionally and with a sense or urgency to get the job done right. We found out we had extensive water damage to bottom floor of our house due to leaking air conditioner. Our insurance listed classic restoration as one of the approved vendors and they sent out Matt and Andrew to assess the damage same day. We are now a week into the removal and drying process and although nobody ever wants this to happen to their home, I am super impressed with the work that has been done so far. Matt and Andrew have both been so great answering all of our questions and explaining next steps for the project. They are knowledgeable, hard working and friendly. Definitely guys you feel comfortable having in your home working. They have gone above and beyond, coming in early in the morning to start work to help accommodate my work schedule. They even took the time to introduce themselves to my dog, who was super anxious the first day. Now he is excited when they come over instead of being scared. I had already started with another restoration company who took advantage of my ignorance and gullibility, so I was a bit of a raw nerve. Classic Restoration came to my rescue, for sure. Jerry Richmond, the general manager, got things started, then Robert Castaneda took over to supervise the project. He was perfect. He kept me informed at all times and responded quickly any time I had a question. He was professional, personable, and easy to talk to. It was such a relief after my experience with the other company. And, Alex, the man who did all of the restoration work, was great. He worked all day, hardly taking a break, and even came on Saturday. I couldn't believe how much he accomplished in a day. He was also very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely responsible. They tell you everything you want to hear and how easy the process is at first but they don't actually follow through and do the work. And they are not responsive or professional. Not only did Eddy take time during his estimate for replacing my damaged flooring, he explained details to me for this tricky repair. His excellent, professional installation crew Tony and Tyler were perfect! They also needed to remove/replace my toilet to lay the flooring, they carefully painted the baseboards at the finish. This water damaged flooring caused hallway flooring to be replaced with my leftover flooring from my original installation - which took Tony and Tyler a great deal of professional skill to install perfectly! Then the bathroom was replaced with newly purchased flooring, finishing with a T-strip at the doorway. They created a great color match for that T-strip for the transition as well (artistic & professional skills). read more

Do not use Classic Restoration. They were hired by our insurance company last year for some repairs required due to a roof leak and did a horrible job. The work dragged on for over a month longer than expected, and when they were finished, there was a layer of white dust all over the house, not cleaned up. They broke our drapery rods. They also used the wrong tape on our wood floors and when they pulled up the covering that they taped to the floor and some of the finish on the wood floor has been stripped by the tape that was used. I contacted them repeatedly for 3 months before they ever came out to attempt to fix the damage they caused. They came out once to try to refinish the floors, but that "fix" was temporary and they now they are lying and claiming that they never damaged the floor, that they simply tried to fix our floor out of goodwill. Luckily I have it in writing that they did admit damaging the floor with the tape they used, so the matter is still open with the insurance. read more

After a BAD leak in my parents house, AAA recommended Classic as their preferred partner for Restoration Repair. This was the beginning of our nightmare back in May. Even though their work has been finished, work is still being done by outside contractors to fix mistakes made by the contractors and Classic. From the beginning, it was a struggle to receive a phone call or e-mail back from Mike who was handling our case. He was EXTREMELY unprofessional, was often late to our appointments and was condescending/rude to our elderly parents. An outside electrician came into the house after Classic had left and found out that the microwave was put in wrong and had to be re-wired, one of the outlets was not even wired correctly leaving it with no power and the dishwasher was not bolted down or secured. When contractors work in a home, they generally cover the floor to prevent damage. In our home, nothing was put down until we came in and saw our hardwood floors marked and scratched and asked them to cover the floor. If your insurance company or a friend recommends Classic, save yourself and go with someone else! read more

Last month, we had a water heater leak, and ended up with damaged walls and flooring. Since we had used Classic a few years earlier after a similar water damage incident and had a great experience, we asked our insurance carrier if Classic was still one of their approved vendors. Within 3 hours, they were at our home and had begun work. From the first call until we signed off on the job, the entire team was responsive, friendly and professional. They showed up when they said they would and called the one time they were running late. They minimized the inevitable mess, and did a first-rate job when cleaning up. What I appreciated most was their willingness to accelerate the job when I told them we needed to be out of town for a week for a memorial service. They were able to complete the job six days ahead of the projected deadline. A couple of days after they were done, I called to request they come back to handle two minor detail issues, such as caulking that got smudged on the sliding glass door runner. They sent their guys out the next day to handle it. Both Mikes were great, and the crew who did the wall repair and floor installation were really nice guys. It's never fun having a work crew at your house--especially when they're responding to a water damage emergency--but Classic made the process so much easier and less stressful than it could have been. The entire experience was impressive and I highly recommend them. read more

Had a small kitchen fire in February 2018 which resulted in lots of restoration due to smoke damage. Decided to go with Classic based on our insurance recommendation. So glad we did because other costs came up and they were taken care by the insurance company. Got a call from Classic within minutes of our decision to setup an initial appointment. The project manager Mike Jensen came the very next day to go over the insurance adjustment as well as draft a contract. Very polite, professional and straightforward. Work started three days later. The employees Tony and Eddy came on time each day for the next one and a half week? Again very polite, courteous and informative. They put in insulation, put up drywall, redone upper cabinets, replaced recessed lights, installed new dining room light fixture, prepped walls/ceilings/doors for painting. Worked very diligently and good workmanship so didn't mind the temporary dust or nonworking kitchen. The production manager Mike Jensen made sure everything met our expectation before each payment. Returned emails/calls promptly. Ran into a hiccup regarding the installation of the range vent hood. Had to pull a building permit ourselves to address the issue. Hence the four stars. Highly recommend you to ask your licensed contractor pull a building permit for any work involving drywall, electrical, plumbing and mechanical whether it's a remodel and/or restoration. Otherwise it may affect the sale of your house due to not up to code work as well as unsafe. read more
