Tina took me and although more customers were coming in she was very gentle and did not rush (most nail techs rush if they are busy). She took her time and I did not have to correct her or ask to go back over any areas. Upon getting my nails done the gal clipped my nails quicker than I could even say anything and it is disappointing that I have to leave with a length I'm not satisfied with. She also cut me twice but she was apologetic. She was friendly and the job was not bad but it could have been better. I paid $28 for "coffin" shaped acrylics with nail polish. The shape right off the bat was a little wonky and looks more like square nails. I came here with my daughter. She's got gel manicure which is $28. My daughter wanted a design and it was as simple as French tip but the lady decided to rip her off charging her $10 extra. But the nails looked undone/ or my daughter could have done a better job herself -messy and lines were not clean and clipped too much of her skin that it bled. UPDATE: I called the day after (on Tuesday) to ask for a refund because my finger was still bleeding. No manager was available as predicted, but they told me to come in the next day to get my refund. I go in on Wednesday, and I'm told I came "too late" and we were literally haggling over how much I should be refunded. I don't know who I was speaking with, but I made it very clear that the nail technician performed very unsanitary practice on my nails and left me injured and that legal action CAN be taken if I need to. I was only given $25/$34. They called the nail technician and she did not speak a work to me over the phone, but tried to tell me that she needs money for her kids, she's a single mother and needs gas. I'm sorry, but that is NOT my problem. Point blank. Why should you even have to question or get angry at why a refund should be given when you have injured somebody and had very unsanitary practice? I tried to give this place another chance but after getting my nails done this last time I will never return. As soon as I sat down they were pushing me to get gel nail polish. I kept saying no and they kept pushing for it. Finally they gave up and were not happy about it. I got coffin style nails and they were all uneven. I asked for a crystal design and as soon as I got home one of the stones fell off. It hasn't been a week and my nail broke off. I've been giving my money to this establishment for the last two years. They're all very nice until they make a mistake and you call them out on it. Two weeks ago I stopped by for my bimonthly mani/pedi. One of the newer girls proceeded to give me my mani/pedi. Call me crazy but I usually like my nails even. First of all, she cut my big toe nail slanted. I told her nicely about her mistake and she became defensive. She had the nerve to tell it was MY toe that was slanted. Seriously! I'm sure she's seen the Anjelah Johnson skit. She said she would fix it after she was done with my mani. The routine usually consist of the nail tech asking the client if they want their nails cut. She decided to cut without asking. When I asked her what she was doing, she told me my nails were uneven, when they actually weren't. In order to prove her case, she decided to cut my nails on one hand and not the other. At this point I looked like I let my 5yr old niece did my nails. I couldn't let her continue so I decided to pay and leave. Although my previous experience was bad I decided to go back. I didn't think it was fair to judge them based on the new girl's lack of effort. Cindy the owner helped me today. She was aware of the previous experience because she brought it up and apologized. After she finished my pedi, I noticed the other big toe was slanted. I wasn't going to say anything but it was even more obvious than the last time. She gave me the same excuse, "it's your toe". She became so upset she had one of the other girls paint my nails. Her employee took an entire 2 minutes painting nails. You can imagen the beautiful job she did. Cindy then decided to sit next to the new girl that messed up my nails the previous time and talk about me in Vietnamese while they looked at me. I got my nails done here a few weeks ago with some coworkers. I had called ahead to make appointments for us (4 people) and we were right on time. However, we still had to wait about 15-20 minutes to get started. It was CRAZY hot inside... and granted, it was crazy hot outside... but I was sitting in my chair, trying to enjoy my experience, trying to relax... all while profusely sweating through the entire experience. Yikes. The mani/pedi felt fine at the time... they looked really pretty and I was happy with my color choice. However, when I got home my nails were FULL of ugly air bubbles. Not like one or two bubbles here and there... my nails were riddled with bubbles. It made me feel itchy just looking at them up close. I'm exaggerating a little bit, but it was a horrible manicure. I ended up taking the polish off and doing it myself 2 days later and it looked about 30x better when I did my nails myself - for free. And then the next day, my big toe on my right foot got REALLY swollen and painful. I think I either got cut or I had an ingrown toe nail. Whatever it was, I didn't have that problem prior to getting my pedicure and BAM it appeared the day after. Ouch. I found this nail spa with the help of my fellow reviewers on Yelp. I have to say this is definitely one of the better and cleaner nail places I have visited. The staff was pretty friendly and I liked how they actually conversed with their clients as opposed to speaking amongst themselves in another language (which BTW for all you other nail spa owners out there is really rude and unprofessional!). I got a French gel manicure and a French pedicure. Both turned out really nicely and I liked how they were very gentle with trimming my cuticles. Overall great service, clean environment, friendly staff who take the time to converse with their clients, as opposed to alienate them by speaking a language other than English. I came here with my 88 year old grandma and they treated her like a queen. They took their time helping her get into the foot spa and took their time massaging her legs and foot. Came in before without a problem, good service from a younger Asian woman, this time around was very different. I was supposed to get a pedicure, a different woman, older Asian woman, but I had to stop her. She started digging in the side of my toe for an "ingrown" toe nail and I pulled back she said she's almost done, then she kept digging and then pulling skin from my toe. I told her to stop 3 times she completely ignored me! I grabbed her and got louder and yelled stop, she kept trying until another worker told her to stop! It was completely ridiculous! She then proceeded to argue with other workers who seemed to be telling her to listen when I said ouch or stop! She kept trying to tell me it was ok and she should finish. I was really disappointed and kind of blown away by her lack of regard for her customer! Another technician apologized and offered to finish, I refused. Update after my Half Dome Hike with my beautiful french tipped gel manicure: 1 week post manicure: I washed my car, washed dishes, and typed a lot. still good, but you could see the clear bottom gel was growing out a little. I also had to trim the tips a bit for clinic. 2 weeks post: I camped and hiked Half Dome. white tips still visible. clear bottom grew out more, but not very noticeable. thumb edge chipped a little. rest of fingers were immaculate. 3 weeks post: I scratched and peeled a lot of the clear bottoms off my nails and some white tips off (acetone wont make a dent). sliver of white tips present on several nails. By this time, if it wasn't for the clear gel, I probably would have returned to get it removed. 4 weeks post: i scratched everything off on my own. read more

I've been begging my boyfriend to get a pedicure with me for the longest time, and I finally decided to come here because of all the awesome reviews. I'm sooo glad that Classy Nail lived up to the multiple 5-star ratings! When we walked in (on a Saturday afternoon), the place was packed. I didn't mind, though, because that just let me know that the place must be that awesome and popular. I was also able to tell that most of the people are regulars. Even though it was busy, they were still able to say "hello" to my boyfriend and I, and asked me what kind of service we were interested in, and to also pick a bottle of nail polish on the wall...which were all up-to-date and good brands, by the way. As soon as two seats opened up, they cleaned and got the tubs ready, and let us have a seat. We had to wait a while, but we still didn't mind because we were in massage chairs :) When it was finally our turn, they apologized for the wait and got started with smiles. I let my lady know that I'm really ticklish, so during the process, she kept making sure that I was okay and comfortable. Also, my boyfriend let them know that he recently broke his toe, so they made sure they were extra careful. We got the simple cucumber pedicure, which was $15. It also came with a quick (but very good) foot and lower leg massage. Hahaha I think my boyfriend was in heaven because I usually refuse to give him a foot massage. THEY GAVE ME AN INFECTION! Do not go here! I got a pedicure here a few days ago and when they were trimming the sides of my nail the lady cut both of my big toes and one of my little toes and I didn't think it was a big deal but today I checked my right toe and it was swollen and had crust growing on the side. Other places I've been I've seen them open up new packs of clean tools to use but I didn't see them do that so I'm scared that they used dirty tools on me which caused the infection. i actually came here to an eyebrow thread. tina the lady who did my eyebrows is the friendliest. however, she wasnt very good at evening out my eyebrows. she took out the innertip of my eyebrow and this is the most far-apart eyebrows ive ever had. she tried to fix it when i pointed it out to her but i was afraid she'd remove more. decided to just grow it out for now. it doesnt look horrible and i kind of look nicer, sort of. also my eyebrows are whacked since i have a faint scar on my right eyebrow so it really is hard to even it out. still it would be hard for me to go back, unless i had no choice and needed threading within the hour in that area. I think it's because one girl was new and the other was rushing. After I arrived 2 more people showed up right before they closed, and they were rushing to get to everyone. The girl doing my pedi barely gave a massage and didn't do a thorough job on the callus treatment that I paid extra for. And I don't think the instruments are cleaned well. Eh. My co-workers and I decided to treat ourselves to mani-pedis on Thursday. One co-worker called ahead and made appointments for all of us. We arrived on time and still had to wait about 20 minutes. In the time it took us to wait, I was melting... it was SO hot in there. We sat in the spa pedicure chairs and before long, one of the manicurists came over to start my manicure. I was busy talking with her, and before I knew it, my pedicure was over... no lotion massage, which is what I look forward to most about pedicures - it's the most relaxing part. The manicurist had me move over to her station so that she could direct a fan at us. Even she was hot. She was perfectly polite and friendly, and did a great job painting my nails. However... I noticed yesterday (Monday... so that's barely four days after Thursday) that something was hanging off of one of my nails. I grabbed at it and pulled - and the polish on that nail came off in one clean swoop. The remaining polish on the rest of my fingernails has been slowly crumbling up and peeling away all day today.
