I had a recent birthday brunch here with some friends & it was such a lovely experience! Our waiter, Alex, has a great personality too, attentive, & made helpful recommendations. I got the Square Meal which is a little bit of everything & subbed the pancake for french toast instead. I had no idea what to expect but that french toast + cinnamon butter combo = SO YUM Also, highly recommend their drinks. I tried a Mango Mimosa & it was delightful. They had a bloody mary bar while we there but that's not my thing. Maybe it's your thing though! Sometimes I find myself wishing I had just stayed home & whipped up breakfast & saved some $$, but this place is well worth the visit. I enjoyed this restaurant. Their menu is extensive, so there's definitely something (probably a lot of somethings) for everyone. We visited on a Sunday around 1 pm and waited about 20 minutes for a table. Parking lot is tiny. It was definitely busy! We were seated in the room to the left of the entrance, and I mention this because it was absolutely freezing in there. I assume they have the AC cranked up because of all the windows, but it was so, so cold. And the fans were on which made it even worse. I don't usually get cold, so I know it was bad in this case. But the food was great! Service was fairly quick. We ordered a Buffalo chicken dip with wontons for an appetizer. Very unusual and unique, and the crisp of the wontons made it a very interesting bite! We devoured it. My meal was a bbq pork flatbread and I think I would make a different choice in the future - it was decent but not great, and had so much bbq sauce on it I was wiping some off. May be a bit loud for some people, but I love going here for Trivia Nation's Monday night trivia as the food is great, there's an awesome selection to pick from, & it's all reasonably priced. Highly recommend the pub pretzels. They come with sweet mustard, beer cheese, and get this Nutella! So delicious! Also a fan of the fried pickles and the pot stickers for apps, and each entree I've tried has been good as have the salads. They definitely know what they're doing in the kitchen here. What a fantastic place, I have driven by here so many times but haven't had the pleasure because we always go to our other favorite place in Dunedin. They have a very large dining room as well as a patio for outdoor seating. We went on a Thursday evening and it was a full house but we were able to get a table. Their menu is so extensive,, they have something for everyone. Great craft beer offerings, 37 on tap, wine and full bar. Thursdays they have Flatbreads for $8 and Select Martinis are $4.00. We decided to try two of the flatbreads and an entree. We decided on the Haus Cali: Avocado puree, pulled chicken, applewood bacon, mozzarella & drizzled with Sriracha aioli and the Black & Blue: Mozzarella and blue cheese, shaved ribeye with green onion and balsamic drizzle. They were both very tasty, nice thin flatbread with plenty of toppings. We shared the Korean Short Rib: Sticky rice, stir-fry vegetables and sesame seeds, wow this was absolutely delicious! The flavor was outstanding, the meat was so tender. My only complaint was that I wanted more of this dish. Our server was great, gave excellent recommendations. There is a large parking lot available for parking. The best part about Dunedin is that parking around downtown is still free and I highly respect that decision. They have other daily specials listed online too. Late night happy hours mon-sat 10 pm to close, 50% off all Draught Beer, Haus Wine and All Liquor, Mondays $8 burgers and $4 draft beer. Tuesday is taco Tuesday with great prices on tacos and margaritas. Wednesday they have special price on Pulled Pork and Brisket Sandwiches and half price select bottles of Wine. Friday fish fry with Fish - N - Chip for $10.00 and a Pint of Guinness for $4.00. They have a bloody Mary's bar on Saturday and Sundays. Yay that was smooth! The food : the salmon entree was delicious with veggies and a cornbread type of grits. My blackened Seafood dish with 5 or so shrimp and a piece of white fish. Plus two scallops .. It was as expected nothing spectacular. Another had the petite filet and this was tasty similar side dishes The scallops BLT ..was the ideal dish.. bacon wrapped scallops and a cauliflower mash was ideal!v Finally. The last dish was a steak fajita entree... This was good ,tender and tasty except the waiter forgot to put in the steak portion of the meal in the computer and most of us had finished at least 1/3 of our meal before the final steak came out for the last guest. On vacation we usually just grab 2-3 items off menu to share and that way we don't get Too Full (so we can keep eating at other locations!) and Gt to sample different items on menu. This was our dinner stop after a day out at Clearwater! First off-- NO WAIT (if we sat inside). Yay for that! Service was fast, food was good, prices were not wallet breaking! We got the BBQ Haystack Burger, the Pulled Pork Sandwich, the Main St Chicken Sandwich, 2 sides of Mac and Cheese and an extra side of Fries. Although the sandwiches and Burger were good... the main stars of the dinner were the "curly fries" and Mac N Cheese. Do not forget to get those even as a side--- don't have to get the Mac as an Entree -- even tho I would have gladly gotten. So good even plain with no Protein! Atmosphere was good. If there's one thing you have to get on this menu it is the risotto brisket balls, THEY ARE AMAZING. The rest of the food was good too. In addition to the risotto balls we also had the chefs mixed grill and the fish and chips. The fish and chips were some of the best and freshest I have ever had!
