I ordered from here a few days ago and got the mild nashville sandwich and fries. It was pretty good and that is why I decided to go back to pick some up for my family. I got three different heat levels mild, xxhot, and get clucked. The labeling in the boxes was incorrect and when I took a bite of my "mild" sandwich. I felt my throat and all around my mouth burn. My nose got runny. It was really spicy. Then my brother took a bite of his and he didn't feel the heat. They mixed up the sandwiches and now I can't even eat the mild one because my mouth still burns. I'm so disappointed at the fries as well. They were chewy and tasted kind of old. Came here on a soft opening with my wife and another group of friends. Ordered the Nashville chicken, corn fritters, fries, fried pickles, wings, Mac n cheese, and each homemade sauce. Everything was PHENOMENAL! Chicken wasn't dry and was juicy and soft but still crispy. Sauce on the chicken was spicy, but sweet too so I liked the contrast. Corn fritters was my favorite appetizer off the menu. Wings were also juicy and crispy. Loved the curly fries too. Pretty much anything on the menu is awesome! Wow. This place is a gold mine. THEEEE BEST Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich I've ever had. The quality bun, the slaw, the pickles, the all white meat chicken fried with the best seasoning. I love it. I recently moved out of the area and am heavily reconsidering my decision as my access to this place is not as convenient the cleanliness of the establishment, the quality of the food (A+++), and the great service will all keep me coming back. These guys know what they're doing. If you want a not so spicy sandwich that still has a little kick (like me) go with the Mild Nashville Hot. I've had my fair share of Nashville style chicken throughout this pandemic and I have to say that hands down Cluck Kitchen has the most tender and delicious chicken with the perfect level of spiciness. I got the Get Clucked Spicy Chicken Sandwich and that was painful, but it's very good. My stomach can't handle spicy food as it use to but I would say a more comfortable spice is "Spicy" you won't feel like your stomach is burning but J would say the Get Clucked was very good I was only able to eat 1/3 to 1/2 of my sandwich a lot of sauce and water. It made my mouth burn but it definitely what I expected. I would probably try to prep my stomach b4 but for a good spice level I would got for Spicy. read more

This place is good for take out. 1st time we tried it was a huge order and the thing that stood out the most was their crunchy fries! It traveled so well and packaged perfect so it was still crunchy to enjoy. 2nd time was last night. Much smaller order and we ordered the fries for my son and it was super soggy. The packaging was tightly closed and it took 15-20mins to toast it. By then my son had lost interest and filled up on other snacks we had at home. Would definitely try again but might just stick to the sandwich and skip the fries to avoid disappointment. read more

This place is the best for chicken sandwiches in OC! I've been here three times and the food was amazing every time. I've had the Cluck Classic, Nashville Chicken Sandwich, and the fries. My favorite by far has been the Nashville Chicken Sandwich. Careful though because the spice level is the real deal! THANKS A LOT CLUCK KITCHEN I was doing so well on my keto diet and thought I'd do my first cheat meal here. Well since then, my husband and I have been here a total of 3 times and it hasn't even been open a week Pretty sure my body has been swiftly and firmly kicked off ketosis. But honestly........ WORTH IT. We've tried everything so far except the mac and cheese and soft serve. The sandwiches are huge. All the portions are VERY hearty and the meat is so tender, moist, and perfectly seasoned. We tried various levels of spiciness and I think hot is very tolerable, esp if you have some of their amazing sides!! Speaking of sides, the fried pickles with their dip is super addicting. The fritters are Soo light and fluffy. Literally, it's like a savory donut hole except 1000000x BETTER bc all the donut holes I've had are always way too dense and dry. My kids, 2 picky young boys, who will tolerate mcnuggets on a good day, DEVOURED their tenders. I was shocked and a little sad that there was only half a tender left for me. I know tenders are usually reserved for kids but these are SOO good - crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Pair it with their cluck sauce for even more flavor! I got to say, the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich has me coming back for more! I usually prefer burgers over fried chicken sandwiches but the combo between the sauce, slaw and Nashville hot spice blend is amazing. I can honestly say I have cravings for the sandwich. Chicken sandwich's are tender and juicy. Good size pieces of chicken. One of the better chicken sandwiches around. Mom's Mac and cheese is not bad but could use more flavor. I was really looking forward to trying this place. I don't think I'd come back anytime soon it's really heavy food. There is a good breading on the chicken that makes you wish they served mashed potatoes with gravy. The sandwiches are HUGE and the Nashville is a little overwhelming with flavor. It is super spicy even when mild and the slaw is all vinegar in every bite. The havarti is better but has a lot of mayo and too many sun dried tomatoes. First time I got Nashville chicken sandwich, but it was so huge and difficult to appreciate the taste of sandwich. I had to end up eating chicken, bun and slaw separately. It's amazing that crispy batter stayed on chicken as if it was glued to it. Both comeback (chipotle mayo style) and cluck (honey mustard style) sauces were really good. Slaw is vinegar-based instead of creamy style. I usually like creamy slaw, but this slaw was so refreshing and went well chicken tenders.
