I've seen this place before and had been curious, but I hadn't tried it. I was craving Korean style wings and didn't want to drive all the way to bb.q chicken and the one on harbor was closed. I decided to place a pickup order to bring back home. They are in a strip mall with plenty of parking nearby. They have limited seating area but are welcoming. I arrived on my time to pickup and they were wrapping up my order. I ordered garlic soy wings with snow onions and coleslaw. The packaging was perfect to avoid them from getting soggy. My wings were really crunchy and juicy! The snow part was a bit too overpowering for me but I had a little. The coleslaw was very fresh and a very generous portion. Next time I'm craving Korean style wings I'll definitely consider them!

Food came out within about or 15mins which is pretty fast. The chicken was very juicy and I thought it was a lot of food for what we paid compared to some other KFC places. I was able to share this with my girlfriend and had leftover for 2 more meals. I would come back if I was in the area. Staff was friendly but the seating is very limited.

This chicken spot is the real deal. Had the hot honey and damn it's great!!! Service was awesome!!! Owner has a great sense of humor and great recommendations. Ambiance is awesome, ate outside. Dont forget to eat the pickled Jamaica!!! It's bomb!!! Will definitely be back!!

My boyfriend and I came here after a tournament in La Habra and ordered the sweet potato fries, mixed combo chicken with curry snow onion, and hot honey mixed chicken (names might be slightly off). SO good! I think the older gentleman taking our order was the owner and he was super kind. I paid for our meal and we jokingly had a conversation with him about how times have changed and guys don't always have to be the ones to pay for meals now. After we ordered, we went to sit outside and the owner came out and really wanted us to come inside so that he could serve us (they don't serve outdoors). The fries came out first with their ranch and their sweet potato fries are peerrfeeccttt. They were warm, some were crispy and soft on the inside, and some were crunchy. AND THE RANCH. Then the chicken came out. Perfectly fried, crispy, with some parts being just the batter so it was super crunchy. I've never tried the onions before but I've seen them in my beloved mukbang videos (lol) and was looking forward to it. Definitely did not disappoint, the onions went really well with both the chicken and curry sauce. The hot honey chicken was also crispy but coated well either the sauce. It had a great balance of sweet and spicy. Overall, I would definitely come back!! I will be thinking of this place . Sorry for the picture... we went to town before thinking of taking a photo.

Chicken is good!! We tried the Garlic Soy and the Hot Honey flavors. I have also tried the original. The chicken is crispy and yummy. The ddukbokki was good as well except it needs more ddukbokki and less fish cakes. And my favorite blast of flavor side: the pickled radishes! So good! Food presentation was awesome. We sat outside with our dog and they were so nice and took great care of us out there. I recommend this place.

The chicken here is so tender, perfectly seasoned, and not fatty at all. We ordered the Honey and Spicy Honey flavor , my son is absolutely obsessed with the Honey flavor!

I think their wings are better than the whole chicken. So crispy and light and juicy. Spicy gizzards stole the show since its a new find

Original chicken wings 10 pcs $17.99 - delish Spicy gizzards $13.99 - delish+ Spicy rice cake $12.99 - a little on the sweet side Everything was delish and take out order was quick! They said 15mins but maybe it took 20mins. Not bad for a friday night. Glad I know of a place close by yet not in BP where the mass kfc spots are.

I've gotten takeout here so many times - I've tried many Korean fried chicken places and this one takes the cake. It's always crispy and tender and the garlic soy sauce is perfect with a bit of heat. Get the wing lunch special on weekdays it comes with 5 wings French fries coleslaw and a small bread thing.

Another Korean fried chicken experience for me, it never gets old. CM Chicken is definitely a hidden spot that likely only regulars of the Palm Court shopping center would know about. Dined in on a weekday, no foot traffic and rather quiet around. The restaurant is small but very clean, some space for indoor and outdoor eating. The menu offers similar to other KFC places. There is a "deal" monday-wednesday where you can order their 10 wing plate and get the second half off. We went that route, going with their original and garlic spicy mild. Got a side of the red hot pepper sauce to dip and try too.. Unfortunately you can only pick one flavor for the plate of 10, but asking for the sauce on the side gives an opportunity to try more. Overall I was pleased with chicken. Good quality, excellent taste. Original might seem basic, but so far it's been the best of all the originals I have had.. The man working the counter was super helpful, let us test a couple other sauce flavors to help make up our minds. Food was prepared fresh, no BS heat trays here. Priced with todays inflation in mind. A solid family owned business.

there's many KFC spots out there but there's RARELY any good ones. the breading is what tells me if it's a good chicken spot. not too thick and not too thin. crispy and flakey and holds the sauce well. trust me, we've tried many in california. this is hands down in the top 2. please be aware that their spicy is VERY spicy! not for the weak. read more

My friend suggested we try this place because she could always smell the great aroma when shopping in the nearby stores so we went for lunch. We had the original chicken and ttoboeki. The chicken was so moist and Jamie, our friendly server, made the ttoboeki especially mild for us because we both can't handle spicy food. It was delicious! Going again! read more

This is a hidden gem, they have the best Korean Fried Chicken! Whatever they brine it in makes it so flavorful, tender and juicy, with just a little kick. It's great just plain. I got a side of onion rings and they were delicious. Nothing is undercooked, overcooked or greasy. And the gentleman that took my order was very helpful and very nice. And the prices are good too, compared to other places I've gone where the chicken wasn't quite as good and the prices were ridiculous. I love trying Korean fried chicken places but it's hard to find a place with new ideas. I fell in LOVE with CM's Snow Chicken because the crispy batter and seasoning of the moist chicken go perfectly with the sliced onions and white sauce - a perfect combo of savory, crispy, fresh, and creamy. I had already eaten dinner when my partner showed up with CM as a surprise... I ended up having a full on 2nd dinner! I really liked the Garlic Soy as well, but focused on the Snow for tonight. I would definitely crave this place again and I was very pleasantly surprised by some delicious K fried chicken. Next time we are going to try other items~ read more

Absolutely delicious. Just got the original fried chicken with the spicy garlic sauce on the side. It wasn't super greasy and didn't leave me feeling bloated or gross (despite eating more than I should have haha). Definitely recommend, definitely returning for more. read more

The hours are wrong! We tried to order for pick up & the phone number didn't seem to work. We stopped by a little after 9 pm & they said it takes 15-20 much minutes to heat up and the oil to fry the chicken so they stop taking orders 20 min before closing! They close everyday at 9 pm not 10pm, except on Sunday they close at 8 pm. My daughter really likes the Soy & Garlic Chicken. It seems to be very popular, even though we order for pick we always seem to have to wait about 15 min for our food! Personally, the chicken is too spicy for my taste buds but my adult children! read more

I have tried many different Korean Chicken such as bbq Chicken, pelicana chicken and etc.... First time trying CM chicken, ordered Snow original, Soy Garlic , and Spicy flavor. My number one pick is the Soy garlic Chicken!!! THE BEST Chicken ever!!! Other flavor was also great too Snow Original comes with the slice onion with their special sauce which was very refreshing and very unique In my own opinion, CM was best Korean Chicken I ever tasted I totally forgot to take a pictures, was too busy eating the 3 different flavors of chicken today~ lol read more

I was pleased with the taste of the chicken. I got a half order of the tikkudak soy chicken (bone-in) and spicy garlic tenders. Both of the flavors were really good. The soy chicken sauce was not too sweet like a lot of places. Had a richer, darker flavor which I really loved. The spicy garlic sauce is a little spicy, but is perfect if you like some heat like me. The spice level is definitely tolerable. The fries here were pretty tasty, too. I also got a side of snow onions which is about $4. Orders come with daikon radish so maybe I will skip this next time. The lunch special is a great deal. It comes with several pieces of chicken tenders, fries, cole slaw, and a soda for only $10.99. The woman helping me was very kind. I had several questions about the menu and she was helpful and patient. Had a great experience and would return in the future. read more

Our company togoed food from here for lunch and it was super good! Our coworkers are of various ethnicities and all really complimented how good the chicken and sides were. The way it's cooked for the crispy texture outside and juiciness inside. The flavors were also a big hit! Everyone gravitated towards the unique snow onion sauce. We knew the onions rings and waffle style fries would be good but was surprised how delicious the fried calamari was. Highly recommended! read more

Found this place on yelp and I was so hyped for their snow onion chicken! We ordered through yelp and they prepared our order fairly quickly. Four stars since their chicken and the sauce was really good. I'm a big radish fan but their radish isn't very good. It's pretty bland and not as flavorful as other radishes I get from other chicken places. I couldn't eat it. I had one problem though. I have a peanut allergy and I didn't see the small allergy notice on the menu online, so I experienced a lot of stomach pain after finishing the food. I looked back at their menu and saw a tiny warning notice about peanuts being in their products. I wish you guys could make that more visible as a lot of people are allergic to peanuts. Thank god I'm not deathly allergic, but hopefully this review helps someone else who might be. Unfortunately I won't be coming back because of this, but otherwise, their chicken is amazing, and I definitely recommend coming here if you're craving creamy onion sauce chicken like the one in Korea! read more

Korean cuisine has a tradition of elevating fried chicken to a more delectable culinary experience, and CM Chicken delivers on that tradition. The owners claim a patent on "Tikkudak", a cooking process of grilling the fried chicken at high temperature to remove as much grease as possible; and render the skin crispy. We tried the garlic soy Tikkudak, which was packed with flavor but we did find that the chicken skin was not as crispy as advertised. And for that reason, I'm rating them 4 stars. The cashier forgot to punch in our order, so an initial 20 minute wait turned out to be a 40 minute wait for our order. The cashier did comp 2 sides of coleslaw and offered his apologies for forgetting our order. I think we'll be back. read more

Still on my "try everything Korean" bender, i found this place on Yelp. The lunch combo was my goal but it included a soda (no thanks) and cole slaw and fries, which I didn't really want, so I upped the ante and bought a $15 whole half snow fried chicken which is half a chicken chopped in about 6 or 7 pieces and fried. Snow style is their speciality, so I always can afford to try what they are known for! The snow sauce (a mayo and sweet onion kicked up sauce) and thinly sliced barely marinated onion comes on the side. The trick is to make each bite contain chicken, chicken skin, snow sauce and onion. When those flavors come together you really have something unlike anything I have tried befoe! Slightly spicy but just enough to get you addicted. The sauce does not taste like mayo or onion per se. Really good. Minus one star because it is $15 before tax for a half chicken-a little pricey. The staff hooked me up with extra napkins, gloves and an explanation of the snow sauce. I'll be back to try something else with snow (sauce and onions) on top. read more

We tried the whole fried chicken when the place opened and liked it. Got the wings this time and are very good. I especially like how it's not salty. My friend and I tried new CM chicken in La Habra last week. Food was excellent. But Young lady with ponytail hair at the counter was very rude. When we came home to eat, there was no white radish, which is key side dish when eating Korean fried chicken. We were very disappointed. We agreed to try one more time next week, if same attitude and service, we will not go there anymore. It's not worth driving few extra miles when there are so many Korean Fried chicken place in Beach Blvd. I will rewrite review after trying again next week. read more

The place just opened it today, and we decided to give it a try. I've tried lots of Korean Fried Chicken - Kyochon, Pericana, Koko, etc - but this is definitely my go to place from now on. I ordered Spicy garlic & Soy sauce chicken and both are so crispy and not too soggy. I only remembered to take the photo once we're almost done with the chicken -- it was damn GOOOD !!!!! The only downside is that you can only order 1 whole chicken and not half. Thank you for opening your business in the midst of pandemic and I hope more people come and try this amazing place! read more

This is a new hidden jam that I have found, I highly recommend garlic soy tikkudak, best tasting chicken I had so far. Any other big franchise can not match or even come near this amazing tasting chicken. Staffs were extremely friendly and that is a plus, but most of all try this place out you wont regret.
