Food was delicious and affordable. I went on a Tuesday and the waitress was very nice.

However, I know from traveling that some of the best spots are ones that appear to be a hole in the wall. I walked in, very cute inside! Staff was welcoming and I cozied right up at the bar to wait for my friend. I was immediately brought chips and salsa and a cold beer. We ended up sitting at a high top and our waitress suggested that I try either carne asada from the Mexican menu or Vaca Frita from the Cuban menu. I love me some carne asada but I was intrigued but this 'fried shredded beef' that was marinated in mole and cooked in a hot skillet until crispy. She suggested sweet plantains to go with it and white rice with beans which is traditional Cuban (instead of yellow rice). IT WAS FABULOUS! It was crispy on the outside and juicy. The mole was flavorful but not spicy and i appreciated that the meat was not dripping in sauce. My dinner date ordered chicken tamales which were seasoned in a Cuban style with yellow rice. She is used to Mexican tamales but said these really hit the spot! The only blemish on the nice was her second margarita which was the cucumber one which she didn't like at all. However, the first one she ordered (pictured) which was a different flavor was a show stopper.

We had a very long table and the servers were great in getting our orders. I ordered the Horchata in the lunch special, Lechon asado. The Horchata was delicious and not too sweet, which was great. I really liked my lechon asado. It was a good portion but the one thing is my plantains were pretty burned. I also got to try some of my mom's tacos. And those were yummy as well. Would come back!

The burritos are wrapped and lightly grilled and the steak inside was authentic flavorful, and plenty. They also provide complementary chips with a little bit of salsa, which is always a plus. They have a very small indoor section with about two small tables and then a bigger patio section in the back. That's very colorful and lively. It looks like they might have a DJ or outdoor bar in the cooler months, but we visited during summertime and it was pretty hot and human back there but regardless still a vibe. This is a spot where you order at the counter and then they bring out your meal to your table. Everyone was super friendly here and quick. I would definitely recommend them and I will return when I'm in the area. I found them both on Google Maps and cross checked out with TikTok that had raved about this spot. 10 out of 10 for a casual burrito!

The nachos were drenched in mouth-watering goodies like guacamole, brisket, onions, sour cream, peppers, lettuce, goat cheese and lots of other toppings that escape my memory. The restaurant is very small and quaint adorned with colorful paintings. An added bonus is the outdoor eating area that I will try when it cools off in Florida. I was able to take some beautiful pictures. It was self-serve at the front counter. The food came out within a minute! The only issue was parking. The GPS took me behind the building and I had no idea where to go! The strip shopping center next door had signs all over "no restaurant parking." I ended up parking a block down on the street.

I haven't been to El Sabor Latino in a long time and the last time it was only for breakfast. They have expanded the restaurant tremendously since the last time I was there. I remember it was half the size. A lot more tables a lot more booths a really big bar in the back. It's a very large, welcoming, inviting space. My server was exceptionally friendly and she let me know it was taco Tuesday, so of course I had to get some. I went with two Birria tacos and two Carne Asada. All four of them were very yummy. For dinner, I decided to go with the camarones ajillo with the white rice, pinto beans, and tostones. My meal was exceptionally good. My only one little complaint would be that I didn't have enough white rice to use all that beautiful sauce and eat all those beautiful beans. I probably could've asked for another cup of but I wasn't sure if they were gonna charge me not. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this restaurant.

We have eaten at other La Granja restaurants in the past and they never disappointed us. This location was big, with a bar, and we arrived there with only one other couple in the place. It was right at opening so there weren't many people. However, once we ordered, people state pouring in and we had the feeling that this place was good and popular. The food came out. We had to pick it up from a central serving station. We ordered a lot! Chicken wings, rice and plantains. It smelled so good and fragrant. One thing we missed was the toppings bar at the front of the restaurant. Darn! It would have been nice to put some peppers and onions on our wings. However, the food was hot, delicious and satisfying. There was so much! The servers were friendly and accommodating as well as the cashier. The cost was reasonable as well. The place was clean, organized and comfortable. All in all, we would recommend a visit soon, especially to this location!
