Good but bland. Clean place, good variety and good service and a wide selection on the menu but the food was plain. I ordered a crispy chicken salad and my friends ordered a burger special, chicken quesadilla and some tacos. None of us were that thrilled. Eat here! Cobian's is a family owned and run. The dad is the chef and the main person running the front of the restaurant is Marco but likes to be called Tony. Great food!!! This has become our second kitchen. Everything is fresh, made in house and made to order. It's American and traditional Mexican food. Breakfast, Lunch or dinner you cannot go wrong. The Burgers are wow! Loaded hash browns, steaks or chops, Mexican favorites like Machaca, chorizo, and like 10 different Aguas Frescas. There are too many great foods to list. Shoutout to this place for its prices and quality. First time customer and I had the chicken sandwich with bacon and fruit as the side. Just had to try their famous hamburger. What a treat! Fresh lettuce and tomato, moist flavorful meat plus grilled onion and cheese. Perfectly done. Definitely not run of the mill, just an excellent, juicy cheeseburger. You can add other things...avocado, for example...but the basic version is just fine for me. The fries are freshly made (not frozen) plus my husband ordered a strawberry malt and was in heaven. Oh my. From now on, this is our go-to place for a burger. read more

Just happened to be in the area, decided to try it out. Service was great; Tony was welcoming and attentive. I ordered the chicken and waffles. It was pretty good; kind of wish they were chicken tenders just to make it easier to eat with fork and knife. When I got there the TVs were on, but after a bit they went to screensaver mode. I also wish there was music playing. I do like the Mexican American concept they are going for; it kind of reminds me of growing up in East LA with the Jims across the street (except nice and updated, but not fussy). They do not have a liquor license yet. I think I would return for a mimosa brunch when they do get it. Hopefully they fix those few ambience glitches by then (music mainly). read more

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant as a friend said she had a good experience here. Well, I wish that I could say my experience was good, it wasn't. I was told that the burgers were great, just like the old Russell's burgers. Sadly, my burger was barely warm and looked re-heated, not juicy at all. My coke was delivered to the table with the waitress saying "this might not be okay, I think the syrup is almost out". Yet, she served it anyway. It indeed wasn't good, so she brought another. My friend had a steak with onion rings and was going to get the vegetables, but asked if they were frozen, and the were. How hard would it be to do fresh veggies? read more
