    Pulled Pork Sandwich
    Anthony R.

I remembered my dad saying we haven't had barbecue in a while so I told my brother that was the plan! My dad saw this spot on New Day Cleveland years ago and we keep coming back. When we got to the counter to order, the two ladies there both greeted us, although one was taking someone else's order. When my mom and I said we were gluten free, she had every answer we needed. Sauces, putting hush puppies on the side, no bread. Excellent job! We would have sat outside, but all of those tables were filled. We did get a table inside for the four of us. Packed inside too. They brought our food out to us when it was ready. With it being packed for Father's Day, 20-25 minutes wasn't that bad. The two sandwich eaters devoured their sandwiches and sides. The two meat platter had just the right amount of proteins and sides. Pulled pork is often my go to, but the brisket was divine on Sunday! I didn't know there were at least four kinds of beans available in the side but yum! The Green beans were solid, cooked in/with butter. Upon finishing our delicious lunch we went across the parking lot to the creamery. They had vegan options so I got one vanilla and one chocolate. The cookies and cream wasn't gluten free so I am unable to comment on that vegan option. Very smooth. An awesome finish to an excellent Father's Day lunch. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Great food. One of my favorite barbecue spots!

So friendly as you are cheerfully greeted upon entering. Also wished my hubby Happy Father's. What a nice touch. Their BBQ is amazing. I split the two meat platter with my son. The brisket literally melted in your mouth. We had the original bbq sauce. Great choice. Along with the platter we selected green beans and baked beans. Definitely worth the trip out to Warren.

Really friendly counter staff and so many choices! I got a pulled pork sandwich and fries and my date got the mess plate. We enjoyed everything. There is a condiment station where you can add sauces if you like. Give it a try!

So we went to the Ambrosia concert in Warren, OH. We decided to leave early to grab a bite to eat along the way. We stumbled upon this place. OH-EM-GEE!!! Hands down THEE BEST bbq. The picture speaks for itself. It's not a big spot, but the service is great. It's a tiny bbq joint, and it can be a bit crowded inside, but they do have outdoor tables. They also have a creamery, right next door. We didn't get to try it because we were so full. I ordered the "Mess Plate" for $9.99 It comes with pulled pork, Mac n Cheese, sprinkled shredded cheese and two onion rings. I couldn't finish it. If you're in the area, definitely check them out!

Brisket, sausage, collage greens, and slaw. Yum!

So many choices so little room in my stomach to eat it all.... But I tried. Pork rinds. I love them. Especially when they are fresh. These came in a pretty big paper bag and were suuuuper tasty. Brisket.... Just right. I think I got a little of each sauce and had fun dipping little pieces of it to try them all. The sauces were all great. But I liked the mustard one best. The burnt ends were my favorite. The sausage was spiiiicy! But so, so tasty! Collard greens were some of the best I've had. I couldn't eat it all and ended up eating the rest for lunch the next day. You definitely get your moneys worth. The kids got burgers and were very happy with them. The gal at the counter was super helpful and patient with the indecisive teens. It's probably a good idea I don't live nearby or I'd be here on the regular.

There is something that just feels right about being greeted with BB King and Blues Brothers music when entering a BBQ spot. I loved the ambiance of said music, warm conversation of adjacent families sharing their meals, and of course, the smell of some good cooking. The variety of sauces was fun, the tea was good, and the sides and BBQ themselves were on point. The service for better or worse is pretty hands-off. Be aware also that they charge a bit more for brisket when eaten as a part of their meat sets, for some reason. Good times here, and I would visit again if I get to visit the Buckeye state.

Every time we would try this place the brisket was so overcooked and dry. BBQ is average at best.

The restaurant appeared to be clean and for a week night there was a decent crowd. I was pleasantly greeted by the hostess and my server was also very friendly. I typically have to be in a mood for a seafood boil but I had eaten at the same restaurant 3 days straight and wanted something different. I played it safe and did the snow crab and shrimp boil in a garlic butter sauce that was very tasty. The corn and sausage were also good. I washed it down with a cold Stella. Overall I have no complaints and would eat here again.

My boyfriend and I weren't really into the King Cajun Seafood Special Sauce. I usually go for house special sauces since they're usually good, but this one just didn't hit the spot. We ordered the hot spice level, but it wasn't spicy at all, and the sauce had this creamy taste--maybe they added flour or cornstarch to thicken it? I prefer my seafood boil sauce to be zesty and spicy. We ended up ordering a side of Cajun garlic butter sauce instead, and that was way better in my opinion. I also wish I had asked for a side of lemon slices (my bad), it would've made the flavors pop more with some extra zest and tang. One thing I really liked about the restaurant was that their seafood sizes were enormous! The shrimp and crawfish were jumbo-sized, and the Dungeness crab was packed with meat. Oh, and a heads up, when we ordered extra corn, we thought it would be three cut pieces, but I think it was actually three whole corn cut into thirds. So yeah, no need to order extra corn unless you really love it. We ended up leaving with a whole bag of corn. I guess that will be my lunch and dinner for tomorrow.

The service is always impeccable. You never have to beg for anything. The servers are well trained. They come around regularly to fill drinks and genuinely care if you're having a good experience. Now to the food. They have a fantastic menu so you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My family and I have tried all kinds of things and loved them. It's our go to for celebrations. We started off with the fried artichokes which were crispy and delicious. They reminded us of the ones we had in Rome last year. My mom and I had the lemon pasta with shrimp. It was unbelievably good. You got tons of shrimp and the pasta was soft and melted in your mouth with the lemon. My husband loved his wedding soup and chicken Milanese. His family is Italian so he's hard on chicken cutlets. He said it was crispy and moist. It looked amazing but I didn't snap a photo since I was hungry. My cousin loved her eggplant Parmesan. She's also Italian and has been to Italy several times. That's her go to dish. It's always cooked perfectly. My other cousins got spaghetti and meatballs which they loved. I've had a lot of "close enough" over the years...but this? This is authentic. This is the kind of food that makes you pause midbite and just nod. Dalia's isn't your typical restaurant, and that's part of what makes it so special. It's set inside what feels like a home, and when you walk in, that's exactly the experience...you're not just a customer, you feel like a guest. It's warm, personal, and genuinely welcoming in a way you just don't find in most places anymore. And I have to say...everything is spotless. You can tell she takes pride not just in her food, but in the space she's inviting you into. And she carries that same care into the food. I've been here multiple times, and what impresses me most is the consistency. You know how some places wow you the first time, then slowly fall off? Not here. Every single visit, the food has been just as good as the last. That alone is rare. Now let's talk about the oxtail... Fall-off-the-bone tender, rich, deeply seasoned...but perfectly balanced. Not overly spicy, not bland...just enough heat to remind you you're eating proper Jamaican food. And unlike a lot of places, you actually get meat here. Generous, satisfying portions that feel like someone cooked this for you on purpose. The rice (and yes, it's seasoned beautifully...more like a classic Caribbean rice than traditional peas and rice) is the perfect base, especially when you ask for a little extra of that brown sauce over the top. Trust me on that. The cabbage has a nice little kick to it, cooked just right...not soggy, not raw. The plantains? Sweet, caramelized, exactly what you want them to be. And I have to mention the mac & cheese because it surprised me in the best way. Creamy, with a perfect cheese pull, but not heavy or overwhelming. It's balanced...comforting without being too much. One of the things that really stood out to me is the quality of the meat. I actually asked her about it, and she sources locally from a farm...which explains a lot. You can taste the difference. Also, pro tip: call ahead. Her food is fresh and made with care, and she does sell out. I usually let her know what day I'm coming and what I want, and she's always incredibly accommodating and kind about it. The first time I came, she even gave me a sample plate with a little bit of everything...and there wasn't a single thing on that plate I wouldn't order again. This place isn't just a restaurant...it's an experience. It feels like sitting in someone's home, being fed with pride, skill, and love. Honestly? It's a hidden gem, and places like this are getting harder to find. I'll be back again...and again.

This place specializes in seafood. Apparently they have a oyster bar that opens at 3 o'clock. We did not do that. We ordered off the menu. An open face chicken Parm sandwich and shrimp pesto over penne pasta. Both meals were absolutely wonderful. They weren't too much and they weren't skimpy either. Just right for in the middle of the day. The french fries are out of this world. They taste just like my mom used to make when we were kids. That's because they were made out of fresh potatoes like my mom used. They served bread with it also and they were rolls. I believe they were homemade. They had a real nice light sweet taste to them. They also as one of the soups of the day had New England clam chowder that my husband thought was excellent. The place is decorated beautifully. There's lots of room. It's good for just two people to come and eat or if you have an event rehearsal dinner or a little family get together there's plenty of room and it appears they even have an extra outside entrance for events in the side room. The waitress was wonderful. That the menu as you can see from the pictures I posted is really diverse. A lot of different items that you won't see anywhere. For instance there was roast fried green peppers in Oil with bread. I wanted to try that, but I went towards the Parmesan instead. They got a couple different greens dishes too. There's sandwiches Rubens and hamburgers and buffalo chicken sandwiches. And I didn't see any of the salads go near us however they have the regular salads like we find in western Pennsylvania with the french fries and steak on them. The bar looks really nice. They had a beer on tap and had a white selection again. I posted the picture with it. I would come back again when we're passing through it's a must go to place.
