So filling and flavorful, I couldn't recommend this place enough. This area of Fort Worth is one of my favorites as well.

The food tastes like qsr, almost like what you'd expect at chipotle. Just not a ton of flavor, sauces taste like they're bulk purchased from a can, not made from scratch. Then it's just lettuce, rice and shrimp. Great atmosphere, but food is just ok. read more

The hubs and I got two sampler plates and tried all the shrimp - afterward, trying to decide which was the best one, we honestly couldn't. They were all THAT delicious. And I'd heard rumors about their "crack rice" - I now understand completely. The food was excellent. I only gave it 4 stars because the inside dining area at 5 pm was very dirty. There was a over abundance of employees that were standing around while almost all the tables were dirty. There was a lot of food in the floor under the tables. ALL of the windows were very dirty. I've been in the food industry and I will say that their food is very good but the employees are going to pose a problem for their success. Being a bit of a fuddy-duddy getting older and hating driving to new unfamiliar locations with confusing parking, I was determined to never return to CoCo Shrimp. But after taking the first bite of my to-go order, I started dreaming about my next trip. They have some type of garlicy-butter sauce on the rice that made me sit up straight in my seat to say "WOW!". It was delicious. And then when I tried the coconut shrimp, I just wanted to speed back to work so I could finish it in privacy. These are really good flavors and I'll happily pay again to get to experience it again. The place is clean and friendly and frequented by both firemen and policemen. I support all of the good men in blue so am glad to see them. read more

I came in to pick up an order for coco shrimp, coco tacos, lemon herb and garlic butter. I had put in the order 15 minutes prior to arriving and had to wait 15 min after my scheduled time, after being quoted a two minute wait. I noticed people that came in after received their food before me. I had already left the restaurant due when I checked my order, I realized my order of coco shrimp (which is a dollar extra compared to the other shrimp flavors) was not there. Instead it was a box with three shrimp (I believe it was garlic butter) with the salad and a glob of butter on top of the rice. The other boxes had asked for either extra rice or salad or light butter which was not applied either. On top of that, the rice had a crunch to it meaning it was not fully cooked. The only pros I can say is the shrimp and the salad. I wish I was able to taste the coco shrimp since it's their star dish. I wanted to love the place but did not have a positive first experience due to the reasons mentioned above. I'm not sure if it was because they were busy but definitely see improvements to make. Again, I really wanted to love but so much went wrong that it's deterring me from giving it another chance. Undercooked rice is a deal breaker. read more

I got a salad with both dressings bc it was my first time and I wanted to try both--can't even decide which of the things was my fav bc all were so well-done!!!
