They just give me a hard time here (finding a good memory to talk about). From the lack of accepting coupons unless the one manager's there and is bugged for many minutes, to the people chasing us outside of the restaurant to ask us if we paid (instead of asking the waitress, as their answer was that the waitress was too busy. Oh, I get it. The waitress was too busy to tell you we paid, and you were too busy chasing us to ask. Mmhmm. Putting that in my mental notebook. Why be nice to u-turn and be mean - I just wanted to go home). Food is blase - another same ol' food that every Rancho restaurant gives me (no dessert I could eat either - unless I want a fruit cup - with no watermelon (that they could just get at the 99c store for $2 - nope)). Not enough charm to make me come back - and I avoided this place for years, as it just always has the worst management that stings me enough to know to stay away. I'll go if my family goes one more time, but really - that's it. Trust me, that's going to be after a long waiting period they'll go through before then. Stayed in town for the Grape Stomp soccer tournament. Came here about noon on a Sunday. Even though every table was packed to capacity the servers were quick on their feet and still friendly. Well I have never had a complaint with cocos because I always love there food and I use to work there. But today was a major disappointment. I ordered my favorite salad which is the Asian Chicken Salad and i was never told the salad dressing was changed. I would have thought the lady who took my order would have said something when i ordered. I got home and to my dismay the dressing is nowhere near the delicious dressing that is normally on it. I hope they switch it back to the original one. read more

One of our favorite locations, we switched locations just to come to this one. They are always friendly, greet you right away, and make me feel really welcomed. The service is always good usually have Mario help us out. He's great always good attitude and attentive to whatever we need. It's a rare quality nowadays we usually travel a lot and is hard to find great customer service. But we love coming back here over and over whenever we are in the area. So the menu for Coco's is standard from restaurant to restaurant, but a human/chef still has to put hands on to make the food. This place is the best. I especially love the quiches and other more difficult items on the menu are just superior to other Coco's I've been to. So who ever is in the kitchen...kept it up. Aw, but what about the basics, say eggs sunnyside up? Sure they are just like all good Coco's, they come out the same at each location. What makes the difference here at this Coco's in Rancho Cucamunga is the staff. Our waitperson, Gigi, makes the basic foods coming out from the kitchen that much better because of her attitude and great service. i would give zero stars if i could. shame on this company! i placed an online order for thanksgiving in advance, only to arrive on thanksgiving to a note on the door saying all online orders were cancelled. to make matters worse, i still haven't received my money back. i've driven to cocos three times with no resolution. i was promised a call from the gm, that didn't happen. so once again, i drive back to the location. he lies to me and says he called customer service and they would contact me. he contacted them on what number???? you can't speak to a live person when calling corporate which is a joke!! this is fradulant and a scam. do not eat here and do not ever place an online order. terrible terrible customer service and a lawsuit will be pending. read more

I would like to add that my experience with service received at cocos has always been great. The wait for seating on Sundays between 10AM to 11am is always been less than 5 min. The food is served within 15 to 20 min hot. Its always clean and staff are warm and friendly. I would like to say thank you to the following servers who are doing a amazing job at what they do most. Yuck. Are potato pancakes supposed to be gooey? Should coffee taste like a construction worker's armpit? And when one orders fresh fruit, shouldn't it arrive cut up, and with a variety, not as large chunks of boring cantaloupe with rind still attached? The ciabatta chicken sandwich was dry and tasteless, the fries (which we did not order) were soaked with vegetable oil. Apparently online prices differ from menu- tried ordering a sandwich which is supposed to come with soup- wanted to charge extra for the soup though that was a choice of side- no way. I ordered the salmon dinner at the Redlands, CA Coco's. It was dry, and the double order of potatoes had obviously been microwaved and then dumped on the plate. I think the potatoes were instant. All in all, horrible meal. The waitress was lovely -- I tipped 20%. But the meal was not worth what they were charging. Cafeteria food is better. We hadn't been there in awhile, and were pleased to find that it had been kept up very well and fairly recently remodeled. It was sharp and clean, and the staff was welcoming. Our server was a cheerful young lady named Ledilain, who got our order perfectly correct, and all three of us were very happy with our breakfasts. For gluten-sensitive customers they have Coach's Oats oatmeal, and they don't put flour in their omlets to make them fluffier. We ordered a pie for Thanksgiving as well. They have a varied menu, and many options for morning. Club 55 is a senior menu with appealing smaller portions and prices. It's a very nice place with reliable, pleasant choices, and a comfortable atmosphere. I think we'll be back more often. read more

I've visited this located several times before and after Covid. I think Coco's is underrated as your typical diner chain. The to-go is not bad, sometimes it's a bit cold but the portions are big. I definitely recommend their Cobb salad. Their seasonal turkey dinner is also really good and I love the bread that comes with it. I have to knock 1 Star after a very odd curbside pick up experience. For curbside pickup there is no designated parking spot like most restaurants. Instead, there is a sign for curbside pickup in front of the walkway at the main entrance. You are expected to park in front of this sign. I parked at this sign after being instructed on the phone. A girl came out quickly with my order. She stood on the sidewalk at my passenger side for about a minute just staring at me until I pointed to the window to have her hand me my order through the driver side. She goes to my drivers side and very rudely tells me I parked my car the wrong way and I should have my drivers side facing the sidewalk. Basically to park the opposite side you'd normally drive, which I was not instructed to do on the phone. She then tells me she could get hit by a car on the opposite side and I'm risking her safety, despite it being a near empty lot at 7pm. So I think the curbside pickup process needs to be redone. You shouldn't have to park and block a lane or be instructed to park in the wrong direction of travel. There needs to be an actual designated parking space. Having employees telling you that you're risking their safety when you're only following their instructions means that maybe the process is not working. read more

Why all the hate? My mom and I love this Coco's. Never had to wait long, always treated with courtesy. good, food always served hot, etc. The only time we remember not getting perfect service was one time where they didn't refill both cups of coffee, so we ended up splitting one cup. Big f'g deal right? But this Coco's like most Coco's is a pretty corporate dining experience. You get what you pay for. Just to comment on a few reviews: 1 stars for not getting your drink? Didn't come with enough butter? Man, do some of you have social anxiety disorder? Just go up to them and ask if it means so much to you. Sometimes you have to do it. We just had the best experience at THIS Coco's. From the service to the food we had zero complaints. Our server was Dawn. She was very personable and efficient. She made sure we had everything we needed,even though it took us a few minutes to choose what we wanted to order. Now for the food. There were 5 of us and everything was great. My sister's eggs were wrong but she immediately remedied the situation. I ordered the brioche breakfast sandwich and it was perfect. I will definitely come back here. This particular CoCo's has been the worse CoCo's I have ever been too. It's unfortunate because this location is literally right down the street from our house. They always forget something in my to go order it never fails. So today I ordered over the phone and the young lady had no knowledge of the item I was ordering and rather then looking it up she would try to correct me and then I would have to correct her of what it says on the website. Very annoying. When I get there my order is just sitting there on the counter for who knows how long so then I check the bag, of course I'm missing my hash browns, pie, and orange juice. The girl is very apologetic but I expected it in the first place that's why I checked my bags before I left. When we get home the food is Luke warm and the orange juice is not filled up. They put a little over half a cup. Irritating!! We have not visited this location in a while and decided to give them 1 more chance and they blew it. We will not be visiting this location anymore. They need to get it together. I won't even call corporate cause the last time I did it was just a waste of my time. read more

It's not easy being 80 years old. How do I know I'm that old? Because I've eaten here twice in the last 2 months, that's how I know. Truth be known, I don't typically eat here, but I was lured by their coupons, the ones where you buy 1 entree and get the 2nd one for 50% off. It makes it more affordable to eat prime rib (one of the newer offerings on their menu) during these tough economic times. The restaurant is pretty clean and the service was pretty good, much better than I was expecting. I don't know if the economy is forcing restaurants to try a little harder to please their customers, but it's nice to see, whatever the cause. read more

Coco's is our pie stop. This time our choice was banana cream pie. We were greeted as soon as we entered asking if were dining in or here for some pie tonight. After giving us some time to make our decision the server took our order. As she was packing the pie up I also asked if I could get some extra whipped cream on the side. In the past I have never had to pay extra but I guess now they charge $1 extra for whipped cream (which was not an issue). What became an issue was right after my pie was boxed and paid for. The server who took my order for the pie and was boxing it took my payment and then just left and went back to the main dining room. First I thought maybe she had food sitting in the window that needed to be taken out to customers. But when I looked at what she was doing she wasn't doing anything but walking the floor. So then another server came to me and greeted me and asked if we were dining in or here for pies tonight? I then just said no we already ordered pie and paid I was just waiting for my extra whipped cream. The manager heard this. So he ran back and filled a small container with whipped cream and brought it back to me. He just handed it to me. No apologies for the wait or confusion; and also no pie. I then told him ok thank you but I just need my pie. There were about a total of 3 of them up front and when I asked for my pie the manager looked so confused as well as the other employees. read more

First impression was old and sad. Not a cheerful place to eat. Seated immediately as it was quite empty. Waiter was abrupt, not friendly at all, and spoke so fast with an accent that I could not identify as he spoke so fast. I had no idea what he said. We ordered and never saw him again till we were ready to go and he said something again, no idea what, dropped bill at table and left. Food was just so so to poor. I got the quiche trio and the quiche was so dry, I had to dip it into the soup to eat it. The place setting is only a fork so had to ask for a knife. Thankfully soup came with a spoon.
