The wife and I needed a quick breakfast near midtown, and our wanderings took us to Coffeebar. I haven't been here since the 2010s, and the place looks so much like it did then. I feel it's a plus because it still seems modern yet comforting. I love the exposed brick and soft lighting. The staff was super fast and friendly. My wife had to get the Ube latte while they had it, and I had my go-to for checking coffee quality, a Gibraltar (aka Cortado). The late was subtly flavored and not too sweet. While I may favor another coffee shop for the Gibraltar, it was still very, very good. We also had a chorizo burrito and an egg sandwich. The burrito was what you'd expect of an American style establishment, but very good. The egg sandwich was definitely a favorite. This may be controversial, but most places overlook and, therefore, ruin their scrambled eggs. If they're super firm and rubbery, they're meant for the bin. Coffeebar's eggs are a perfect soft scramble. Add to that the caramelized onions, and you have a superstar sandwich. Come for the coffee, stag for the sandwich. read more

Pretty good coffee and a nice variety. They also have an assortment of food options. Their coffee is roasted locally, which helps with the rich taste that you want to find from a little local coffee shop. The Mexican Mocha is a normal mocha with the right amount of cinnamon and Cheyenne and a nice drink for winter months! While in Reno, wanted to try some local coffee. The reviews were amazing, so we decided to give this place a try. I had a caramel latte and my BF had it iced..AMAZING! We also decided to grab breakfast, and we both had the avocado toast with a poached egg. Again, AMAZING! Our daughter wanted a muffin, so we went with their berry muffin, and again equally amazing! Fresh berries in the muffin, it was delightful and it's a score when your 5 year old eats the whole thing. I will say the prices are a bit high, I believe I spent around $41 plus a tip for this visit, however it was a treat for us, and we definitely plan on returning when in Reno. read more

After my last experience here, Coffeebar management reached out to me, providing me with a free beverage hoping for me to have a better experience. I very much appreciate their communication and service. Today I picked up another latte and I must say it was much better. The amount of foam this time was wonderful, the flavor was delicious. Orange is a very unique seasonal flavor too, which I liked. It tasted very natural and refreshing. Service was still great and I still love the indoor and outdoor spaces. From the coffee (crucial of course) to the cardamom oatmeal cookies (and SO many other delicious foods) to the great outdoor seating areas and gardens and friendly service- it's wonderful in every way! The indoor atmosphere is also super homey and welcoming. And prices are reasonable. There's parking in a lot and also street parking nearby is easy. It's pretty popular so certain times of the day can get pretty crowded and it's hard to find a table but they have indoor and outdoor seating. They've got a pretty extensive pastry selection so check the display cases if you're feeling something sweet. Need something more substantial? There's plenty of breakfast/lunch items too. I made a point to come here on my trip to Reno. It was easy to find parking in the lot attached to the building. It's more than just a coffee bar as it offers some sandwiches, bowls, and pastries. There was a seasonal menu of drinks one of which was the maple cinnamon latte which I ordered iced and thoroughly enjoyed. It was probably not conventional lunch time but they were able to make a breakfast panini for me even at this time. While I was waiting for my food, there was a man that was being belligerent and harassing some of the other customers that were there. I was in awe when one of the smaller baristas promptly marched over and told him that he had to leave and that his behavior was not acceptable. She was so calm and assertive and not taking any crap from people who were bothering their patrons! I'm pretty sure it's not in their job description to have to deal with that stuff and I can't help but give massive props for diffusing the situation and making everyone feel a lot more comfortable. There is a lot of seating inside and outside on the patio which is really nice on a sunny day. There's a lot to look at inside the shop from the floor to ceiling wine rack and art from local artists on the wall. A really cool coffee joint that has a hip vibe. read more

I've only every been for breakfast, and it's one of my favorite spots in town. First of all, you can get your latte in a very Instagrammable white mug. The lattes taste as good as they look in photographs. As for food, the pastries are great if you're on the go. I had a baller blueberry muffin there. If you can stay and enjoy hot breakfast, the breakfast burrito is amazing! I've also had the breakfast panini and added avocado. It was the tastiest meal after an early morning workout. Perhaps what I enjoy most is that while Coffeebar has great ambiance and seating, but it's faster than your typical sit down restaurant. You order at the register and they bring out the food. Boom! I would've tried to talk to a manager but I so taken aback by him I rushed out there. I thought he had called my name but called a similar sounding name, and he rudely raised his voice at me after I asked what he said. After that, we finally received our drinks and my fiancé had ordered an iced chai but the drink was hot. He mentioned this to the same young man making drinks and he rudely gave us a cup of ice and rolled his eyes. For the price, go somewhere else with much better customer service. Shame on them. I ordered an iced vanilla latte which was made pretty much perfectly, and the avo toast with a poached egg! The toast was tasty and flavorful, and they seasoned it very well. Wasn't a lot of food though for the price, would've liked two slices maybe, and the bread needed to be toasted a bit more (it was a tad soggy). I settled for almond because they don't have soy, which I know is a controversial milk somehow, but hey whatever I like it. The scone I had was quite delicious, but a tiny bit dry if you ask me. Considering I was there at 9 a.m. only an hour after they opened, I would have hoped for a more moist scone. However, I could still get the flavors from it which were lemon and Thyme. A perfect combination of sweet and savory, Citrus and herbal. For sure I must stop, a little off the beaten path of the hotels, but worth it! read more

Came here to work on a Friday for couple of hours. I arrived around 11am and stayed until 1pm. The WiFi was good, no issues the entire time. I got lavender latte which was ok. Would not recommend if you want something strong like coffee. Lavender latte was too milky and bland, very little caffeine. My friend ordered a caramel latte which was really delicious.
