I put in a project bid on Yelp and this company stood out to me with their advertisement of using Kelly blue book prices and the cost of the consultation would be included in the price of the service if we choose to get it. I even got a discount for being a first time customer. They had an easy invoice and multiple ways to pay. They were patient despite the lag on my side on paying since I was stuck in a meeting. The service was for a tenant property and they had all the tools and communication for me to be able to handle this fix remotely and not have to drive to the property. Our dryer was having issues with the temperature and the light compartment fell out. I was able to make an appointment online for the next day easily. Peter came over during the given time slot, he even texted me with an ETA before arriving! He figured out the issue, quoted me a reasonable price, and ordered the part right away. Within 2 days the part had arrived and he came back to install it. After fixing it we noticed a rattle. He came right back and took care of it. I don't typically write Yelp reviews but I read them frequently and I do my due diligence before picking a vendor for home/appliance repair projects. But I wanted to support this business because I think they deserve it. Here's why I was so impressed with Reparo. 1) Prompt (and I mean prompt) service: When I opened a home project on Yelp for a repair on our Thermador refrigerator, Lara and Alex from Reparo responded back within 2 minutes..... 2 minutes. As other reviewers mentioned, they were also the only outfit that offered a no questions asked free diagnostic, provided a price range upfront for standard repair, and gave me a phone number (more on that later as far as clear and concise communication). 2) I was able to make an appointment online (nice feature) and the availability was beyond excellent. I was able to schedule an initial consult on the very same day of the Yelp request. Alex fit us in on at the end of a very long day. I was also immediately dropped into a text chatroom with Lara and Alex, so that we could communicate with each other, and Alex made sure to text me with an ETA when he was on his way. 3) When Alex visited our home, he was courteous, upbeat and knowledgeable. I had tried to DIY fix the issue myself (condensation in the fridge) and Alex knew immediately what the problem might be. He was not condescending at all and explained to me in detail that one of the defrost heaters was faulty and needed to be replaced. He gave us a reasonable and transparent quote, the cost of the part, and the timing of when he might receive the necessary part (within a week). 3) This is where Alex and Lara shined as far as my experience was concerned. At this point, just to make sure, I called Thermador customer service to see if this particular repair could be done under warranty. The Termador rep said yes, 5 years for parts and labor but I'd have to pay for an initial consult. After some thought, I scheduled this separate consult w/ another tech (btw, 2 weeks out). I went back to Alex and Lara to see if I could cancel. Although they had already ordered the part, they were very accommodating and said they understood, I'd pay just the cost to return the ordered part. I found this more than reasonable, something you don't often see once you've accepted an initial consult from a company. When the 'certified Thermador tech' came to our home, the difference in customer service was ironically night and day vs. Reparo. The tech was knowledgeable, but also rude, accused me of 'not reading the manual on warranty policy' and there was no way the repair was covered. He then quoted me an invoice that was ~3x more expensive than Reparo's quote (3 parts vs. 1 part). The kicker? The tech informed me we'd have to wait 3 MONTHS because the parts were on back-order. 4) After chasing the tech out of my home, I gave Lara and Alex another call. Yet again, the professionalism and prompt response was beyond reproach. Alex told me I was in luck, they still had the part. In fact, he was about to step into a shipping facility to send it off when I called. He was able to drive to our home the very next morning (will stress again, the next morning!). He performed the repair in less than 1 hour, and we've had a fully functional fridge ever since. TLDR, these guys rock! They certainly made an impression on me with their level of service, courteousness, professionalism and fantastic communication, they've earned my trust. I hope this helps others find this team. They seem to be doing honest work for an honest price; hard to come by in my experience. read more

It was a bit tough to find a technician to take a look at our Wall AC Unit, however, REPARO responded quickly and confirmed that they can. I quickly was able to set an appointment and they reached out to me to confirm via text. The next day, Alex contacted me and gave me an ETA of his arrival. He performed maintenance, and cleaned our AC unit, all within 2 hours. He even cleaned the clogged up air vent for the dryer. I liked his initiative and consideration. Professional and friendly. He explained very clearly what was up with my AC unit, gave me useful tips, and honestly I learned a bit more about how to take care of my unit. I think he's also a Harry Potter fan haha. Overall, very pleased, our AC is working better and would definitely call them again for any appliance repair or check up. Affordable too. I paid under $300, which I think was fair considering that this was the FIRST maintenance we've had for our AC in the year and a half we've had it. It was pretty dirty and needed attention. read more
