I had such a fantastic visit to this Cold Stone tonight, and I just had to share my experience. From the moment I walked in, we were greeted by a lovely mother and daughter duo who truly made us feel welcome. Their energy was warm, kind, and genuine -- you could tell they care about every customer who walks through the door. Not only was the service fast and friendly, but they also took the time to make sure the order was perfect. They had great recommendations and even shared a laugh with me while preparing the ice cream. It made the whole visit feel more personal, more like visiting a friend than just grabbing a treat. As for the ice cream? Delicious, as always -- creamy, flavorful, and made right in front of you with all the mix-ins done to perfection. I noticed a few negative reviews online, and honestly, I think those are just from people having a bad day or expecting something unrealistic. My experience was nothing short of excellent, and I wouldn't hesitate to come back. In fact, I'll probably be bringing friends next time just so they can enjoy the same amazing service I did. "Cold Stone is a scam. The "base" ice cream is hideous tasting; gummy with bad aftertaste. Cold Stone is capitalizing on the Burger King philosophy of "Have it Your Way". The fact is however that most consumers don't want it "their way", they want it the RIGHT WAY. A properly forumulated Baskin Robbins or Ben & Jerry's flavor is way better than the hit-or-miss concoctions at Cold Stone. Every time you order a flavor, it's mixed and formulated differently. Who wants that? The singing gimmick is obnoxious and annoying. And for the store owners, they are mostly yuppies that sucked money out of their 401K's so that they could "own a business". I've spoken to many Cold Stone owners (and watch how they're dropping like flies), and they complain that their payroll costs are massive compared to the competition, making their product too expensive and most stores unprofitable. Always friendly and fast with service. 2) Have tried two of your "wraps" and found them not nearly as good as your sandwiches. Sticking with a sandwich or breakfast pastry from now on--because those are always delicious.
