The ice cream is typical cold stone fare and is good. However, the owner of this franchise is a dick to the employees and extremely disorganized. One of my friends worked here and ended up quitting because they weren't paying her on time!! She had to wait 2 months sometimes for her paycheck even though they were supposed to pay her every other week. After many trips to this Cold Stone and watching my friend get huge globs of delicious looking ice cream, I decided to give it a try. Call me vanilla, if you will (btw, my favorite ice cream flavor, not that anyone cares), but I've never ordered any of the crazy concoctions on the menu. No, I would not like an "All Lovin' No Oven," a "Cookie Doughn't You Want Some," or a "German-chökolätekäke." No, I don't. I just want my damn vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips and cookie dough mixed in. In a waffle cone. It's an entire meal in itself and I really have to block out the mental image of how many calories that is, but it's definitely delicious. The ice cream is basically the same as always: mediocre and overpriced. This was hubby's choice for dessert. This review is for horrendous service. Three of the laziest, most apathetic humans were working (6/2 8:30 pm if you want to check your schedule). Management, please hire folks who at least pretend to give a fu*#. Party of like 10 people at the front of the line, so all 3 employees helped them while the rest of us waited. Not a big deal, except they were slow and indecisive. I asked for a sample and the employee's finger touched the ice cream on the sample spoon--ewwwwww. Guess I didn't need that sample. Had to ask for lids three times. Asked for them up front, but he forgot, so I get two medium sized ice creams overflowing with spoons in them. When I finally got lids had to put them on myself, and they didn't fit so there's now ice cream running down the sides. So now I have two dirty spoons and oozy ice creams. Fantastic. I asked for a bag and napkins and was met with rolling eyes. Left without bag or napkins. And I just washed my car today which now has ice cream all over the inside. Thanks. Sigh. read more

We have frequently gone to this Cold Stones, as we live near. Frequently - as in 4-6 times a month. So today when someone just happened to give us a coupon, we came in to get some yummy Cold Stones ice cream. Once she saw the coupon, the employee rolled her eyes. And didn't want to honor the coupon. This was the first time we have ever brought in a coupon. We should have not been met with such disgust. First time to a Cold Stone location and I was impressed. Ice cream was great, I expected that. The lady behind the counter was great, she offered a taste of every ice cream they had (I quit at three) and explained the different items they offered. She was very nice. I got a waffle cone (they make them there, she said) and one scoop of raspberry sorbet (was great too). She said they make their own ice cream there at the location. She said it takes a lot of work, it shows. I think next time I'll get the Chocolate Devotion. read more

Just your typical friday night right? Thats what i thought too. A crummy week at work but i thought a trip to my local Cold Stone would make it all better. Boy oh boy was i wrong. A rotten cherry on top. I walked in to an empty store that was in shambles. Completely dirty. Im a regular so i knew that the store had been recently acquired and was under new management. It was a night and day difference. The employees were noticeably less enthused and the vanilla tasted all wrong. How do you mess up vanilla? The toppings had all gone stale. We come here about once a month. Never had problem. I have a family of 5. They all want their own ice cream. My wife ordered my young son his ice cream. While the guy started on my sons ice cream, another guy come up and asked if he can help. I stated to place my other sons order and he rudely interrupted me and said" wait... Are you guys together"? To witch I replied yes. He then said "who's the next party?" Very rude. He just wouldn't take my order. He proceeded to take other orders. The guy that my wife had helping her must have been new... It took him 24 minutes to complete all of our orders. You'd think this guy would get some help... But no. I don't think I'll be coming back here. At least not with a big party. read more
